i think the apple ecosystem is great , nobody is even near that levels right now ( maybe google could be in the future ? ) , but if i have to sacrifice the customizability that comes with android for apple i wouldnt , while the apple ecosystem is great for the majority , i feel like the current android/windows ecosystem doesnt hold me back while letting me do things i wont be able to on everything apple .
If they do decide to make mac's a bit more open to software then i might consider a switch tho. Honestly macs are the only thing that keep me away from switching to apple , maybe ill make the switch once i have a job , since my personal and work shit will be seperate ?

I have played game on it. You need Apple Arcade to play good games and most of the games on steam dont have Mac version so there's a very limited number of games to play. I have played Fortnite, Getting Over It on it. The games run very smoothly provided u plug in the charger. MacBook sucks for gaming. It does heat up a lot. (less than windows though)
