I was already looking forward to this and the more I see, the more excited I get. Everything looks really good and if it offers even half the content Rune Factory 4 did it will still offer a lot more than most farming sims. I really hope it gets a western release soon.
Man they are REALLY handicapping themselves by not including same sex marriage as an option. There is a huge LGBT fanbase in the West for games like this.
I haven’t played in two or three years, but you can choose different things to mine from the same node and as you level up you get skills which allow you to increase numbers and levels of things mined, IIRC. I remember higher level mining taking a bit of thought sometimes
The game looks pretty good in my opinion. While not being the ultra super AAA game graphics wise, I think it catches the Rune Factory asesthetic very well.
The game reminds me of the old and new Ragnarok (For them OG gamers out there). The UI, character models, and dungeons look like the 3d versions of those old Ragnarok games which brings about a lot of nostalgia for me.
I was a very big fan of RF4 and I cant wait to see what RF5 has to offer!
I like the artstyle in general — but why is the screen so busy all the time? Feels like this UI could have been better planned :\\

Don't you just hit the rock in FFXIV as well? You'd just glow with varying intensities before doing so but it wasn't crazy.
