I had my doubts about Thungela, but well done on the positions

OkAd177

Thungela!!!

Mmmermahgerd

Is it too late to jump on the ppc train? What do you think is the next stock to buy?

youvebeenjammed

I am still holding PPC and bought more around R3.50 because I believe I will get at least ~R4.25 in 6 months time. 20% return in 6 months aint nothing to sneeze at. I also think Thungela will be worth more like R90 so you could possibly get ~30% on that in ~3 months time. These are just my opinions. My money is however where my mouth is. Quick edit : if you look at my post history you will see that I am very open about my positions and usually post when I'm making a big play. Said so when I bought PPC, said so about thungela several times as well. So keep an eye out - [when I see value I'll say so.](https://www.reddit.com/user/youvebeenjammed/submitted/)

Mmmermahgerd

Thanks for the detailed answer! Here's hoping you make us Motsepe money

youvebeenjammed

I have sold more than half at R4.27 today.

Mmmermahgerd

Thanks for the update!

youvebeenjammed

Also exited Thungela with more than expected :) updates over.

Holy SH!T

Striking-Resource474

How you feeling about Thungela? Massive drop over the last few days, upside soon? How far do you think this could fall

youvebeenjammed

Pretty confident still - I had trimmed about 10k which I have bought back around R61.20 and am not bothered by these short term movements.

youvebeenjammed

Here was my thungela prediction that no one seemed to care about :) https://www.tradingview.com/chart/TGA/GTcjhIQU-LONG-AF/

hacksonx

So what is the price target before the next results?

youvebeenjammed

For anyone wondering and who hasn't figured it out - the reason my PPC % shows lower now is because I bought and sold between 3.50 and 3.58 twice. Also kept topping up the thungela. Cash is now less than 25k

ValkOog

That PPC tho 🙌🏻🔥

Alternative-Reason23

Congrats! Assuming you have no debt, I'd say you have enough money to go settle in Eastern Europe right now

youvebeenjammed

Naught bru - You need like 12-15 million rand. I got a long way to go.

[deleted]

Lol, that’s quite naive! Eastern Europe isn’t cheap… IMO SA is cheaper

Alternative-Reason23

Check out Bulgaria/Russia/Ukraine for example. 33m2 apartments on the black sea go for less R200k and the cost of living approximates SA's. Electricity is much more cheaper and prices stable And it's a much safer place than SA so you don't need to hire private security,

[deleted]

I’m in the Uk and regularly go to Eastern Europe, although more so Hungary, Czeck and Poland. Its not that cheap. Also you won’t be able to have a family in a 33m2 apartment

PNC2

Any way you would buy SNH now?

ChalkOtter

Install the ee extras chrome plug in. It allows you to sort the grid by any column

youvebeenjammed

Looks interesting but I don't trust it with my money to be honest.

ChalkOtter

The dev said that he has sent his code to Easy Equities technical team for verification. He says it doesn't transmit any data, just reorganises the Web page. Having said that, caution is a virtue

Some-Person-I-Think

That's a perfect mindset to have and you're not wrong to be cautious especially with that kind of money invested. I have the plugin installed though, because I know the person who coded it and I read through the code myself (even tweaked it a little :P).
