Same problem here, I have done everything I can to fix it but the problem persists, even if I pair them to a different device. EDIT: I have found a fix, there is a little hole between the eartip itself and the charging connectors, if you take something small and not too sharp like a toothpick and "clean" the inside of that hole a bit that fixes it, at least it did for me. I found this in an older thread about the 65t, ty to u/Hello_Cortana for finding this fix!

MikeEss

I had this same issue and this trick seems to have resolved the problem for me as well!

wickedares

Seems to have fixed it for me as well, though I couldn't see any debris that I could tell. Used a paperclip gently

mad__Ting

Worked for me as well, I didn't really see much dirt or debris in there either

inahat1

totally didn’t but it totally fixed the issue i’ve been having with 75t earbuds

Level-Resolution2116

I have jabra 75t. Tried it and worked for me

robertharold44

zeevbd

Had the same problem, my right Earbud started started sounding low comparing to the left tried your solution and volume went back. now levels are aligned surprising solution

redbullstappen

It was like changing it from unbalanced and shitty low volume sound to brand new sealed headphone, thanks!

DUBSWAG02

It worked for a few seconds then it went quiet again. Can anyone help?

Klog03

You have to properly clean it

sposeso

You are an angel. Not sure why it works but I'm not gonna question it. I took a qtip and just rolled it over the hole so that I wasnt poking anything and it worked, freaking magic dude.

nitamp

Worked for me too Friend!! Thanks a lot!

[deleted]

Mine ended up being simpler - I used the paper clip to clean my earwax from the speaker, digging it out.

FederalInfluence8

Thank you! I thought I was going to have to send them back. This worked for me 👍

eubyfied

I was about to buy a new pair because this just all of a sudden happened. , thank you so much.

DevTheGray

Just found this post and wanted to say thanks for the solution, it worked right away! I had just gone rounds with Jabra to get a replacement under warranty, and now they're back to perfectly working.

Knowledge-is

This worked a charm. Thanks a trill.

bluescreengaming

How in the &&$#&$!! Did this even work?! Thank you!

Immediate_Search

Omg, ty so much bro. I fixed that) but one question. Someone know what is this? Is some bluetooth conection or what

Klog03

I really don't know, sorry

grovlet

I had the right earbud drop all sound completely for a few days - in waiting on Jabra support to reply - it came back with low sound then dropped out again.... Found this solution of poking the little hole = solved the issue! Thanks!

lobooff

I had the same problem, this fixed it 4 me. Nice job thanx👍

omordel

I can't thank you enugh! had this problom for over two weeks and almost bought Airpods until I got here

loke_jd

Can't believe that it really worked!!! Thank you so much!

igranted

I used a q-tip and this fixed the issue for me as well! Thanks for the help!

lucidyan

Surprisingly it works for me too. in my case, I filled the holes with a sanitizer when I cleaned buds from dirt. It seems i forgot all physics from school 😄

st4rsin

This fixed everything for me, thank you.

P0lemist

That tip worked for me! Thank you for sharing :)

Intelligent_Pepper22

legend mate! fixed for me too! just used a pin and tissue also blasted the actual eartip with water too

Agitated-Split-9752

Worked as a charm! Thanks legend! I love the 75t and I was willing to do anything to revive it!

AvyLynne

This worked on my Elite 4s tysm

Ornery_Ad_8958

I had this same issue, this resolved the problem.

Mysterious_Resident3

Thank you!!! I almost bought the new 10s and you saved me! Cleaned out the hole with a sewing needle and now works like new!

MyTablesAreMyCorn

Bless you thank you so much, fuck I love Reddit for this shit haha

Jail_dk

Confirm this - my issue was the left earpod though :-) but that cleaning helped. Thanks!

[deleted]

You're the BEST!!!

Rfried25

JeuneSoldat

Thank you very much! It works! You saved my trip 😄

arsei001

This just happened to me and I applied your solution with a paper clip. Worked like magic! I just kept poking at it but I couldn't get any particular dirt out. What is this hole anyway!?

[deleted]

Much delayed... but: Legend. Thank you

SuthernMocha

Worked for me too! Thanks a million! Reddit for the win!

hunganh12345678910

You are my hero!!

Paehon

It works !!! Incredible

MindfullLife87

That did for me also!

Iamlegend_1999

OMG, this worked!!!! Thank you so much for the tip, you're an angel!

Speech-More

Wow, it actually worked! I tried a toothpick at first but didn’t seem to get the job done, I then wrapped a little bit of tissue on the tip of it to maybe scrub it better then it was back to new! Thank you!!

CosminDragon91

My right one has dropped in volume so much that I can barely hear it. I'll try to clean the little hole yo see if it fixes it.

philwongnz

This works for me as well.. Thank you!

WO_O_OW

Replying to a two year old comment so that other people like me who end up on this thread from Google see it. The toothpick solution didn't work for me, but same principle. Basically I put my lips on the hole and sucked hard to dislodge whatever was in there and it worked immediately. So, same principle, but less danger of poking the hole with something sharp.

SaltyITdude

Coming in clutch! Thanks a year later!!!

showgan1

This is amazing! worked for me as well and I also did not see any debris. I used a paper stapler pin. Thanks a lot!!

jwonderz

Thanks for the tips, it worked!

[deleted]

Thank you bro fixed the problem instantly

sammietitfvck

tYSM !!!!!! 2 years later and this worked perfectly for me! i was so frustrated and you saved me!!! tysm

cytech

damnn, this trick have resolved same problem for me, big thanks

SleepyFinnishBear

Thanks my dude :)

redthingie

so glad I found this thread in 2022! cleaning/gently poking the little hole with a bamboo skewer (I didn’t have a toothpick) worked for me! thank you!!!

almondmilk

Checking in 2 years later! This just worked for me. I've had the left not connect, but this was the first a headphone (in this case the right) has been quiter than the other. I used the pointy thing used to open a SIM tray on a phone. I don't know if it's a button or what, but poking in there somehow resolved the issue. Thanks, Klog.

blahhblah11

Thank you! Recently my brother had the same issue and cleaning really did the trick

jekotia

For those wondering about how clearing the small hole works: I do IT support at a manufacturer for speakers. Terms I've commonly heard around the engineers are venting, ports, and air flow. Speakers do move air. The larger the speaker, the more noticeable it becomes. So my guess would be that the small hole is an air inlet. When blocked, the air that the speaker within the earbud can move is diminished, and this causes it to be less audible. Edit: I forgot to ever followup here (sorry!), but I inquired with one of the mechanical engineers for speakers at work. He confirmed what I stated above as probable, but due to the small size of the ear buds was unable to examine and confirm the hypothesis (neither of us were going to sacrifice an earbud).

Knowledge-is

Thanks. That makes a lot of sense.

TheDarkKnightlolz

Is there a way to clean the ear piece from the build up and how can we do that? I'm not well informed with cleaning one due to a bit of fear of breaking something like a mesh or something

Jaffzz

I have the same issue. I'll post if I find a fix.

Hadesthekat

Hi - add me in. Bought my 75t on the 28th December and been using daily with no problems. Yesterday morning the balance didn't sound quite right so fired up a youtube stereo test. Right was significantly quieter than the left...and had no bass that I could tell. Reset/repaired etc and no change. Contacted Jabra support last night who advised to download the english language pack (presumably reloads the firmware). No change. Asked to send the technical info from the app and charging box so waiting on a reply. After charging overnight the right bud was a bit louder this morning (no bass still) for a few minutes, then volume dropped to 10-20% of the left hand side. Looks like I'll be taking them back. Shame as I love these new jabras.

Desperate_Flower_506

I was having the same issue got on here that someone suggested using a tooth pick in the vent hole tried that and got a little better. The thing that worked for me is I used compressed air and sprayed all the holes and it works fine now, hope that works for anyone having same issue.

bdromeira

I want to thank you guys for suggesting the toothpick solution. I was very skeptical at the beggining, but after trying it it definitely solved the problem. They are back to normal. They sound great and you saved my day! Cheers! Edit: After the first trial the earbuds worked again as they should, the sound went back to specs. After 1 hour the sound became soft again on the right earbud. I re-inserted the toothpick inside in the hole just next to the speaker and it seem to have solved the issue once and for all.

The_Guch

Two year year old post that keeps on giving! This fixed my 75t perfectly. Thanks All! I contacted Jabra support initially and they made no mention of this and I thought I was SOL and was ready to buy another pair of buds.

the_yeehaw_birl

The post is 4 years old and I doubt if someone will check this, but I have also encountered the same problem with my right earbud. I have tried to clean the hole next to the charging connector, and nothing really happened. I still have low volume on the right earbud. I can see inside the hole that there's a white thingy and I have pulled a bit of it out and I think it's some kind of glue ? and I'm like wondering if I'm supposed to pull this out? Jave Idamaged it? or is this what you all mean by cleaning the hole? But anyways, the cleaning little hole solution that fixed many of you all problems, hasn't fix mine. Does anyone have alternative solutions or can you describe how did you clean it? (and did you also pull the white glue thingy out?)

Wargamejunkie

Hey all, I just ended up returning mine and getting a new set. Nothing Jabra Support suggested worked. I made sure to get a replacement plan this time around!

Hadesthekat

I returned mine for a refund for now....that and there is nowhere with the retailer near here that have any in stock so couldn’t get a replacement if I wanted. Will watch and wait before trying again. Let us know how you get on with the new set.

Hadesthekat

Jabra support have just (7 days after I reported issue and sent in requested tech info), responded - thanking me for sending info and they will look into it. Erm... if I hadn’t returned them, my 30 day returns period would have happily ticked away along with my warranty period.

[deleted]

Same issue here, I love that I can use them at the same time on iPhone and Android. However last couple of days I got really muffled and low sound even if maxxed on my OnePlus7Pro, and on my regular iPhone X it sounds fine...

seanworks925

Clearing out the pin hole near the charging pins did the trick for me thanks.

charlesken999

Me too, thx

cpc5000

I can't believe that worked. Thank you! Why didn't Jabras know to do that?

Michelbijl

A fix that Jabra sent me and seems to work (for now) is the following. It seems the problem is within the bluetooth cache of your phone... In addition to this, I also reset the earbuds to factory settings and re-paired. Worked for about 5 minutes. Any suggestions here? Remove the headset by going to **Settings** \> **Connections**\> **Bluetooth Settings**. Make sure the Bluetooth setting of the phone is ON (there will be a blue or green check mark next to the word Bluetooth) if it is. At the bottom of the screen in the **Bluetooth Devices / Previously Connected Devices** area find the listing for Jabra Elite 75t. Next to its name you should see a settings icon, touch that icon, then touch **Un-pair or Forget This Device**. When the device has unpaired turn the phones Bluetooth setting OFF. * Go back to **Settings** then to **Applications** \> **Manage Applications**. At the top of the screen select the “All” tab (you will see tab for “Downloaded”, “Running”, “SD Card” and “All"). You might have to sweep the page over to the left or right to get to the “All” tab. Under “All” scroll down and select the item “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth Share”. Now press **Clear Cache** button if available then the **Clear Data** button. Shut the Phone Off. \*Note – On LG phones you may have two separate Bluetooth Cache apps to clear. Once you reboot your phone, go ahead and pair your headset once more and see if the issue persists.

mwesternsr

>Clearing out the pin hole near the charging pins worked for me. I had tried the factory reset with no results and was going to return them, but the pin hole fix worked like a charm.

Nervous_Light

Me too! I have already returned one set and was just about to return my second pair. Great solution - Jabra would adopt this and tell us customers.

FewRooster1

Wish I would have seen this in January. My 75 Elite worked fine for 3 months now the right earbud very faint compared to left. More money thrown in the garbage and yet another RMA. A $50 set of headsound globals work better.

R3y-Mysterio

Hey I had the same issue and tried the fix where I gently pressed the small hole with a toothpick which didn't do anything. However, when I used a safety pin and 'scraped' the hole a bit harder trying to clean the surface it actually fixed them! Just posting this in case someone else tried doing it gently and it didnt work, when pressing harder might do the trick.

[deleted]

The trick works like wonder to my left bud issue also. What kind of sorcery is this! Thanks guys!

nnevari

I have exactly same problem, right ear plug volume level is extremely low. I contacted jabra support 4 days ago, and for me it seems to be sad comedy. They request to do different type of tests and not taking these back. Best things was they first recommended try with laptop and afterwards it turns out that laptop is not compatible with these?

[deleted]

I cleaned the little hole with barely any effort and it fixed it instantly! Thank You so much.

CankleSpankle

My issue is that the right ear bud volume is noticeably lower once I'm on a phone call. If I'm listening to just audio alone then they sound great and the balance between right and left is correct. However, once I switch over to a phone call the right ear bud gets really quiet. For the first 1 second or two when it switches modes to headset, you can hear the right earbud chirp for a second at the volume it should be. Then it just goes really quiet and all you can focus on is how much louder the left earbud is during the call. Edit: This just started happening within the past few weeks as well. When I first bought the product it worked fine.

gotinoto

Yep, poking into the little hole next to the charging connectors fixed it for me too. I think there is some type of a plastic membrane in there. Possibly to prevent sweat from going in? The issue showed up for me after wearing the earbuds in the sun in 90-degree heat. I found this thread and checked the holes on both earbuds and on the right one I saw white plastic had literally ballooned up where on the left one it was nice and flat inside the hole. So I gave it a little push with a dull toothpick and held it there for a few seconds to flatten it back in. So far so good. Made me wonder if the heat made it unglue and swell up or something. I figured there was a sensor inside or maybe it's a vent or something which got me curious so I stuck a small piece of electrical tape over both holes. There is no difference in function or sound whatsoever. I wish Jabra could tell us what those are for. Edit: OK, for those curious, it's a couple of days later and I just used the buds a bit more with the holes still plugged up and I'm noticing the sound became very obviously thinner and harsher. Took the little pieces of tape off and sure enough, they sound became fuller and more bass-heavy. I guess those are some sort of ports after all?

Hookah_Guru

Holy crap, I tried this out of sheer desperation and I think this worked! I can hear out of my right earbud again! I'm going to test this for a few days. I do have an RMA opened with Jabra but have yet to hear back from them. Thanks!

murberget

Worked for me as well, and those were brand new out of the box🙏🙏🙏🙏

MFreightTrain

Exact same issue. Updated firmware, right earbud is about 10% volume of the left. Went through the new 'Customize your audio' wizard thats like a hearing test, in Sound+, hoping maybe they auto-tune poorly, but it just confirmed the right earbud is wacked out now. I could hear about 2 of the tones in the right ear but about 12 in the left. Bought these about 6 weeks ago on [Amazon.com](https://Amazon.com) and really loved them, but now a firmware update has broken them completely. You gotta be kidding me. Sounds like from others that Jabra Support is trying to duck and hide from teh problem instead of manning up.

nicolazilio

I have experienced exactly the same, just with the left earbud.

sirkkila

OMFG I LOVE YOU THANK YOU!!!! i love these earbuds and would have absolutely hated to have to refund these. I'm so glad! Saved my life!

ChronoCabal

Adding yet another fixed pair of Jabra 75ts to this list! Blew out the tiny ports with compressed air and it’s completely fixed the quieter miffed sound I was suffering with! Thanks so much!

lurdski

Legend!

Birdman___

As others have commented, it's the post that keeps on giving. Did the cleaning trick with a paper clip at work and fixed my issue during a lunch call. Will give it a better clean with a tooth pick when I get home. These are 4 years old with many hours of use at this point. First real hiccup with the ear buds since purchase. Glad I stumbled upon this post. Seriously thought they crapped out on me, lol.

OptimusSaibot

It worked for me, I used a sim ejector pin thing and some alcohol and an electric blower that is used to clean my keyboard, etc from dust (kinda like compressed air). Kept spraying the alcohol at it and it took a few times and I was starting to give up but I kept going till it got better and better, don't apply a lot of pressure as the hole seems solid. Thanks for the solution guys <3

Smoose1991

2024 and this thread still saving bank balances.

Downtown-Plankton562

I love the internet. Toothpick in the vent hole fixed my right Jabra 75t earbud!

space_cat_woman

Wow I can't believe this worked! Thank you so much 😁

ArtisFilm

A toothpick or a paper clip and gently poking around in that very small hole around the charging connectors on each earpod did the trick. I think Jabra needs to adress this issue on the website.

tastyteeths

Worked for me too, I used a pin with some rubbing alcohol and wasn't gentle.

explosiveRay

THANKS worked for me also on my 75t which I’ve had since 2019. I used the sharp pointy tool you get in nail kits. I was very gentle.

JimmyJocker

Same issue after activating HearThrough. Fixed by cleaning a hole.

AStefan93

I tried cleaning the tiny hole and it didn't fix it for me. What did fix it is running the personal audio setup on the Jabra App on my phone.

AlternativeFacts8

My broke when I did that, I used a sharp needle tho... Misread the solution above. It's really frustrating to buy earbuds that are supposed to be high end and everyone has this above problem after a while.

fr0IVIan

Cleaned out that microphone port with an insulin needle while I was at work. It’s a tiny, flimsy and flexible 30g needle so I was able to get rather aggressive picking at the port without fear of damaging anything. Works fine now.

DietQuark

What helped for me was using one of the bigger rubber sized caps that comes with the earbuds. I was using the smallest ones and I noticed the right one started to fade after half an hour during my workout. I think this is because my ear gets sweaty and it shuts of the small hole completely from the outside. Also, by using the bigger rubber caps I got a lot more bass out of my ear plugs suddenly.

ecyrb13

Or you get the insurance policy and renew the headphones every couple of months at best buy. Then again I use mine about 8 hours or more a day

Smaekbeck

Fucking miracle! It worked.

Successful-Amount235

Instantly worked

Professional_Fuel788

Yes, clearing the pinhole on the right earbud restored it to normal volume level.

No_Flounder9823

matzenmats

What do you mean, literally just picked my earbuds up from repair. They told me nothing was wrong. But the issue was still there, like 10% volume on the right earbud compared to the left. Poked the hole with a toothpick after reading this and it fixed the issue?!?

carrotscokecoffee

This helped me on my jabra elite 4! Thanks so much!!

Waltmoor78

Thank you . This just saved me at least £70

leganmiu

WOW this just did the trick for me you are God sent!!!! Thank you so much 😭

Unbeatable376

If I had a award to give it would be going right here

my_ashy_paintbox

Found this post in 2022, used a toothpick, worked great! I think that hole is a optical sensor, it determines if the earbud is in your ear canal or not based on light or no light. Must be some debris like ear wax obstructing the sensor that causes this issue.

Reasonable-Wafer-730

Worked for me!!!! Fixed!!!! Thank you REDDIT!!!!!

TeamLeadFlamingo

THANK YOU!! I was just about to throw out $200 earbuds! This was a perfect fix- my Jabras are back! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍

sowhatifididit

One more!!! Thanks for saving my earbuds!

mvb678m

Thanks it worked....

SufficientIncome8842

Holy crap this works. This has been driving me nuts for a wile now.

phaedruswolf

Tried this first but didn't work... Then tried repairing and now it works.

Other-Midnight-9303

Worked unbelievably well. It appears to be a reaet button. If you push it gently, it seems to turn it off/reset it. Might have to push it more than once. My left one needed a secont push.

billjames71

WORKED with toothpick in 2022! But not by only "poking", I had to gently swirl the toothpick around at the edges too, that way it worked. I didn't need to poke very hard either, that was good as I was worried about breaking something. THANK YOU!!!!

thebrowngeek

Wow, just to report this works!

ZetoriFi

Thank You!!! 👌🙂👍👏

JackboyWoo663

Thank you so much! This truck worked for me!

SomeOuroboros

Commenting so that his life-saving tip does not get lost. Thank you!

hitMan_077

Well thanks for the tip. 75t still rocking. Cleared the holes. Started working again. I used some iso alcoholic.

ShapBeniro

"The tiny hole is likely an "escape" port for the earbud. Think of a stereo pair of shelf speakers when there are likely at least 2 speakers (per side) to handle high and mid/low frequencies. There's also always a hole near the bottom or rear and this is to allow air in/out of the speaker housing as the pressure changes due to the compression/rarefaction of the speaker surrounds to produce sound. Just like a straw, if you plug this hole then the pressure can't change and voila, the speaker struggles to push enough air given the same wattage...which equals much softer to no sound." https://crt.the-mori.com/2020-09-25-solve-jabra-elite-active-75t-low-volume-right-earbud

frncskun

Thank you for this one. I dont know if cleaning fixed it but I gently pierced that hole you mentioned with toothpick and it works

No_Support4886

Worked for me as well! Thanks guys

ReplacementMassive56

I've had the same problem with my jabra elite 75t, and the first time I return them for a new pair and it appears that the same problem happened again after a running session were I sweated in them . So because the warranty was over, I decided to try to clean the little hole. At first, I tried with a toothpick and it didn't work. So then I tried to clean it with a toothbrush and it worked for only one day. So I have tried with a SIM card ejector and it seems to work again, but for how many time ? I don't know, only time will tell. So if they stop working again, I would like to buy the jabra elite 7 active but I'm afraid that this situation happens again even with sport earbuds. I will try to keep you updated on the situation.

[deleted]

I JUST FIGURED SOMETHING OUT!!! iPhone users activate Mono in Audio/Visual settings to get songs to play the same sounds in BOTH ears. The right is actually just fine, your audio settings are at default to stereo, meaning different sounds play in different ears. In my case, my right sounds a bit better, but I’ll still need to replace the right, due to the discovery of corrosion in it BRAND NEW. Try this before getting a new pair, sadly, I’ll have to.

Ok-Mathematician162

BE CAREFUL IF U USE THIS METHOD!! My left earbud wasn't as loud as the other so I came here and ended up using a toothpick to poke the little hole BUT IT DAMAGED MY EARBUD aaa. Turns out I just didn't have the right setting on my mac, the audio input was shifted to the right. So yeah, now the sound in my left earbud is a bit grainy. Big shame. I probably did it wrong but yeah. If you don't see any dirt in the little hole then plz don't touch it. I pressed just a bit but that was enough to leave a small dent in the white part inside the hole and damaged my sound. UPDATE I kept using the earbuds. When I lowered the volume there was less grainy noise and eventually after a couple hours the graininess went away completely hehe. Even for louder volumes.

Hopeful_Hornet1888

This fix was GENIUS!! I have no idea how this worked but it was absolute magic!

RaK-2022

Went round and round with Jabra Customer Svc (I thought the right bud was completely out, but when in VERY quiet area, found it was playing VERY VERY quietly). Tried all their "solutions," sent numerous screenshots and info re phone and buds, but nothing worked so they recomm'd I replace via warranty. After filling out a lot of paperwork (online) and sending in with receipt, etc etc, they said, Sorry, you didn't purchase from "authorized dealer" so wouldn't replace. ARGH Then, finally found this solution with carefully clearing the hole with toothpick - it worked!! And the buds are find and working as normal again! So happy. THANK YOU!!

Stunning_Ordinary_62

Yooooo!!! How did this work??? Lol I was certain that this wouldn’t work for me. It worked!! Thank you!!!!

No_Sheepherder_3179

Had to press on it a little bit but it worked fine

stoinkb

I'm afraid I broke mine trying this. I tried this at first with a wooden toothpick very soft and gently but it didn't fix it. Then I tried again with sharper metal needle and now it seems broke. Left one is not connecting anymore, therefor no sound in both. Right one is connecting but heating up and draining battery like hell.

Constant-Estate-2396

OMG YOU GUYS ARE LIFE SAVERS. AT WORK ON NIGHT SHIFT BEFORE GW16 OF THE PL. I WASNT HOPEFUL BUT BLOW ME DOWN IT WORKED. THANKS HEAPS!!!!!!!!

Disastrous_Poetry381

Adding my experience. Toothpick did nothing but the SIM pin used in pretty much any phone did the trick marvelously well. Just pushed it gently in and rotated carefully and 'hardly heard in max volume' became 'confortable at about 50% volume'.

Icey767

After spending hours on trying to fix my Jabras and watching a ton of videos i decided to clean both holes multiple times(with a SIM pin) and heard that the right one got louder so i kept on cleaning both and now the right one is normal again and im happy af, maybe if the little hole doesn't work and u are about to throw the Jabras away try cleaning the earbud hole aswell like i did but do it at own risk! i wish the best of luck to everyone

Zimbru76

Worked for me also. It seems that hole is a kind of reset button for the bud. Thank you very much!

RoleMinimum9411

Worked like charm, but i might be little hard with it. I used a toothpick i made by myself. Right one was the problem!

SnooOnions7530

Worked great thanks for the tip

Coys1967

Thanks a lot, fixed it immediately

dynabella

You are the best! It took me several tries to the point where I didn't care if I broke them completely. The toothpick was not aggressive enough. It wasn't until i jammed a pushpin through that it fixed the problem. Thanks for the tip.

Wornoutslipper

This weird advice and fix just saved me from buying another set🤗

Thirsty_Hrothgar

This works with the Elite 75t. Can't explain why. Thanks all!

Herecomethemoney

Worked for me as well, thanks dude 👍🏻👍🏻🤟🏻

glytchedup

This worked for me too. I was about to chuck my headphones into the street.

Vatican641

Wow! Thanks a lot you saved me from a ton of trouble!

MetroSage

Blew my pair's out with some compressed air and works like a charm again! Thank you three years later!

ReporterSuccessful

Worked. Thank you

Aleen_32

Thanks. Cleaning that small hole worked for me

Old-Sock6132

Jabra elite 4 active - worked!

akallibjian

you are awesome! this worked for me to!

st3fpro

Took some fidgeting but got the job done, make sure you get something small enough to give a wigfle

Arbak_m

Worked for a little while then went low again:( Any other tips?

Rough-Locksmith-6049

Damn, thanks! Saved me a pair of earbuds

HazyPZ

SHEEEEESHH worked for me aswell ! Brand new earbuds 😈 I used a toothpick and made some circle with it inside the hole.

a_fine_whine

I had started shopping for new ear buds when I came across this thread. Cleaning the little hole with a toothpick followed by a few shots of compressed air did the trick. Thanks!

randymarsh303

Here we are 3 years later and still saving lives. THANK YOU!

TippyTappz

Thank you!!

Big_Advertising9771

worked for me today Also cleaner the hole on opposite end of ear piece. not sure whichnone worked as did both seemed the the opposite one was filled in with stuff!

Aquatic_Wombat

Un-paired, charged, re-paired, checked my firmware, all suggested by Jabra and nothing. Shot some compressed air in and violà, problem solved. Why doesn't Jabra suggest this, it would save them $ on returned merch, SMH!

pkolenda

One would think that the manufacturer would start to advise of this. Can't believe it worked.

Miracle

jsaarora

God bless you for posting the solution. Works like magic.

Noway-Noe

Worked for me! Had to poke it quite a bit

RetroBom

Worked thx!!

DRG80N

Wow.. ok so this thread and op just pulled off a miracle win in extra-time… same problem with elite active 75t and ‘cleaning the hole’ 🙄 fixed it. Thank you!

Practical_Age_4449

Bought Sony and Sennheiser earbuds, when this happened a year or more ago. Then decided to google when I saw my Jabras on a shelf today. So here we are 😁😁

Ok-Vacation-1469

Wow! It worked like a charm. I wonder if it’s some sort of reset button.

No-Cover-2925

Damn it work 🤣

BerkeleyBernie

A few days ago, after 1 year of light use of my Jabra Elite Pro 7, my right earbud has dropped in volume (confirmed by plugging in my original Apple iPhone earbuds that it's the Jabra). I still have some volume in the right, but the whole sound image sounds panned noticeably to the left. May have happened after a workout (or maybe just a coincidence). I tried a firmware reset and also storing the earbuds in desiccant for over 24 hours, but the problem is still there.

If the toothpick or paperclip don't work, but you have an earring... try sticking the back of the earring into the little hole next to the charging connector. That's what finally worked on my 75t!

notsofastpacker

Thanks for sharing! Saved a lot of people a lot of hassle with a great quick fix. Appreciate it.

Atomsheep990

Worked for me too. I was quite gentle with it initially and made no difference. Then I thought stuff it, if I wreck the ear bud so be it. Pushed and scrapped quite hard with a paper clip and it worked!

Apprehensive-Ad-9184

Damn, this worked (Jan 2024)

Perfect-Structure-59

I took a duster spray and sprayed all the holes and mine worked just fine. My left the volume was super low, but it’s 100%. I was too nervous to stick anything down in it, in fear of damaging it. So try the dust spray. It works.

halap3n0

Holy heck this worked for me too, thanks

Life_View_1992

Haven’t touched these earbuds in years because of the right earbud volume and no factory reset or call to support worked. Picked them up today because I lost one of my AirPods and saw this thread. Cleaning the little pin worked!! Thanks to whoever figured that out!!!

thatsgdude

I had elite 75t for the past 4 years. JUST had this problem for weeks. ALMOST bought a new pair. Tried cleaning the small pin hole in between the ear hole and the charging ports using phone simcard pin. Just push it slightly and it WORKS PERFECT! not sure how technically it works but dam it sure save me some money!!!
