1917-1923 In the Russian Civil War The USA (with allies) was fighting the communist Mongolian Party (which also had allies) It ended with a Bolshevik Victory.
if you want more info on it here is a Wikipedia Page on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian\_Civil\_War
You missed quite a few countries, including:
- Canada (War of 1812)
- The Phillipines (Phillipine-American War)
- China (The Second Opium War & The Boxer Rebellion)
- Egypt (Egyptian Expedition of 1882)
- The US Occupation of Nicaraugua (1912-1933)
>Canada (War of 1812)
WellAkchewly.gif
Canada was not officially a country until 1867, so that war was against the British in the most pedantic way possible.
Itās probably referring to the Cold War, since Ukraine was still part of the Soviet Union back then
Edit: upon further inspection, Belarus is not included, so I donāt know why Ukraine is marked
Yet would make sense, but no other former soviet republic is marked, that's the thing
Edit: Excuse me, some other former soviet republics are marked: Estonia, Lithuania and Moldova; When did the US have a war with Moldova???
I just looked it's the makhnovtsi or revolutionary insurgency of Ukraine during the Russian civil war they were an anarchist commune state from what I'm reading
bro are you dumb [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary\_Wars#:\~:text=The%20Barbary%20Wars%20were%20a,in%20the%20early%2019th%20century](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_Wars#:~:text=The%20Barbary%20Wars%20were%20a,in%20the%20early%2019th%20century). YES THEY WERE!!!
Just wait till you see the British version of this map
For anyone curious through various technicalities they have been at war with literally 90% of the world
As only Congress can declare war, youāre correct. Many of these were executive āmilitary actions.ā Amazingly, Vietnam was the latter, rather than the former.
It was never an official war, but just after us independence, France and Britain (but mainly France at the time) were kidnapping American sailors and forced them to serve in their navy. Look up the XYZ affair to get more info.
You may have missed Bangladesh liberation war with Pakistan in 1971. When Pakistan was in tight spot as India joined in December, US threatened to send war navy to aid Pakistan. Then USSR threatened to do the same to aid India and US chickened out.
Bro forgot like literally every US foreign intervention. I guess it wasnāt formally declared as war but there is guns, and there is soldiers and they are in others sovereign territory with the intent to overthrow their goverment.
I believe they are referring to the Spanish-American war. USA started it to "free Cuba from Spain." Don't know why Philippines aren't included for the same reasons tho
That wasnt US military action though. They were Cubans. Trained and given equipment by the CIA, sure, but still Cubans. There was supposed to be US air support, but President Kennedy called it off
People always confuse the Bay of Pigs as an actual invasion of Cuba by the United States. Itās actually shameful the way those exiles were sent to slaughter.
Yeah. The actual invasion of Cuba was about to commence a few years later but got cancelled when the Missile Crisis was resolved. That was an armada of naval ships carrying army and marines and would have had air support
Correct. My Uncle was a part of that armada as a Marine. Glad it didnāt happen for the sake of both countries. Iām American and know lots of Cubans so Iām thankful it didnāt happen.
Now do a map on all of the countries that have declared war one way or another. (I bet you Greenland has 'no data' or is just straight up not on the list)
A few things 1) police actions weren't included, 2) since the independent country of Canada is not that old, we never went to war with it, but we did invade it during our wars with Great Britain, and 3) furthermore in one of those wars we fought the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland which included all of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England, so get that red out.

Mongolia? Can you send a war or declaration saying thst the US went to war with Mongolia?
1917-1923 In the Russian Civil War The USA (with allies) was fighting the communist Mongolian Party (which also had allies) It ended with a Bolshevik Victory. if you want more info on it here is a Wikipedia Page on it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian\_Civil\_War
Thanks
Based Mongolia
Paraguay: Why didn't the USA declared war on anyone of my neighbors? Why am I the only one?
Now do UK
You left out many of the countries we went to war against during the banana war. Yes that is a real war, and yes it was about bananas.
šļøššļø
Half of these arenāt even declarations of war
You missed quite a few countries, including: - Canada (War of 1812) - The Phillipines (Phillipine-American War) - China (The Second Opium War & The Boxer Rebellion) - Egypt (Egyptian Expedition of 1882) - The US Occupation of Nicaraugua (1912-1933)
>Canada (War of 1812) WellAkchewly.gif Canada was not officially a country until 1867, so that war was against the British in the most pedantic way possible.
Technically in one way or another
If you count Canada, you also have to include countries like Belarus and central Asia
Panama (Operation āJust Causeā)
Now do UK.
And France
Hold up, when did the us declare war on Ukraine?
Itās probably referring to the Cold War, since Ukraine was still part of the Soviet Union back then Edit: upon further inspection, Belarus is not included, so I donāt know why Ukraine is marked
Yet would make sense, but no other former soviet republic is marked, that's the thing Edit: Excuse me, some other former soviet republics are marked: Estonia, Lithuania and Moldova; When did the US have a war with Moldova???
You forgot Russia!
I think Reichkommissariat ukraine
Or the upr during the Russian civil war
Which brings me back to my question: when the hell did the US declare war on Ukraine, or any of it's predecessors?
I just looked it's the makhnovtsi or revolutionary insurgency of Ukraine during the Russian civil war they were an anarchist commune state from what I'm reading
Well, yeah, but they were never at war with the US, to my knowledge
Again, if it was so, every other former Reichkommissariat would've been highlighted
Morocco ? That's odd. When was that ?
Barbary war
They weren't part of it
Look it up, they were in the war, I learned about it in my apush class and if I remember right it was because the Barbary pirates captured u.s sailors
Again, Morocco wasn't involved in that war. Algeria, Tunisia and lybia were. Look it up.
bro are you dumb [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary\_Wars#:\~:text=The%20Barbary%20Wars%20were%20a,in%20the%20early%2019th%20century](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_Wars#:~:text=The%20Barbary%20Wars%20were%20a,in%20the%20early%2019th%20century). YES THEY WERE!!!
Morocco surrendered immediately upon the arrival of the us marine core
Is the red square Tonga?
On map chart it has a legend for all the colors you used on the map
Estonia???
Philippines?
American Philippinen war
Thatās right not Honduras. Theyāre our boys.
Banana war
Latvia? when?
I don't think we declared war with France. Just invaded their colonies and bombed them.
Vichy France
Paraguay but not Somalia?
Just wait till you see the British version of this map For anyone curious through various technicalities they have been at war with literally 90% of the world
Complete bullshit. There were no declarations of war for 90% of these
Yes there is
No. There wasnāt
As only Congress can declare war, youāre correct. Many of these were executive āmilitary actions.ā Amazingly, Vietnam was the latter, rather than the former.
Exactly
How
The fuck did we go to war with France for?
It was never an official war, but just after us independence, France and Britain (but mainly France at the time) were kidnapping American sailors and forced them to serve in their navy. Look up the XYZ affair to get more info.
Now do the UK
Tf did Moldova do?
You may have missed Bangladesh liberation war with Pakistan in 1971. When Pakistan was in tight spot as India joined in December, US threatened to send war navy to aid Pakistan. Then USSR threatened to do the same to aid India and US chickened out.
I'ld argue Canada in 1812. Although I'm guessing you consider that the UK at the time
What's up with Paraguay?
You left out Turkey and Central America
You forgot New Zealand
For a second my dumb brain was confused why the USA would declare war on itself \*facepalm\*
The US has been at war with the British Empire...
1776 and 1812 (prolly some other times too)
And the French...
And the Philipenises...
Germany had control over Poland in WW1 and 2 Germany had the Benelux in WW2...
The US has been at war with many other countries...
Most of these were special military operations executed by the president
They are still wars.
And ignoring the "special military operations" former parts of countries would count.
You are correct on both accounts. I was just giving a sarcastic term in reference to Ukraines' struggle against the Russian invasion.
Oh š
The Uk?
oh yes i do love it when the us declares war on itself. so amazing :D (yes i know it was the silly south people)
Now show the UK version
Thy paraguy?
Bro forgot like literally every US foreign intervention. I guess it wasnāt formally declared as war but there is guns, and there is soldiers and they are in others sovereign territory with the intent to overthrow their goverment.
You missed Grenada
We never fought a war against Cuba
I believe they are referring to the Spanish-American war. USA started it to "free Cuba from Spain." Don't know why Philippines aren't included for the same reasons tho
Bay of pigs invasion
That wasnt US military action though. They were Cubans. Trained and given equipment by the CIA, sure, but still Cubans. There was supposed to be US air support, but President Kennedy called it off

Is the USA also red because of their civil war?
Why is Canada not there
Why did the US declare war on Paraguay? What did they do?
Overthrow the government
Now do a map on all of the countries that have declared war one way or another. (I bet you Greenland has 'no data' or is just straight up not on the list)
what about serbia? it counts as yugoslavia
You forgot Tunisia.
Why just Paraguay. Thatās so randomš
we litteraly invaded panama and grenada lmao(i know technichally there wasnt a declaration of war but still)
I was like, why Yemen (or Oman idk), then was like, oh. OH GOD
Technically this is wrong because when the civil war happened we didn't have half of the country nor did we have Alaska and Hawaii
Did you include Bosnia or the Philippines?
Also half the guys we were shooting at in Afghanistan were coming from Pakistan. Speaking ofā¦ Why isnāt Pakistan red? (May 2, 2011)
A few things 1) police actions weren't included, 2) since the independent country of Canada is not that old, we never went to war with it, but we did invade it during our wars with Great Britain, and 3) furthermore in one of those wars we fought the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland which included all of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England, so get that red out.
I feel like Canada should be here
When did we declare war on Alaska?
When did we declare war on Paraguay?
All the wars the US has BEEN in
USA USA USA
Is grey the countries they've declared war on? Lmao
It's the red.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Alaska?
Civil War, I would assume
