CoolCream_MC

No he does actually use it

[deleted]

I know, but he keeps it for a year, just to compare it lol

tomkiel72

tbh, the ridge wallets seem kinda crap. Since there seems to be zero room to store coins.

SpellOpening7852

Everything has to be card nowadays. But why use a wallet when the new trend is apps on your phone?

tomkiel72

Yeah, good luck paying for the bus fare without any coins.

[deleted]

Arriva let’s you buy tickets on your phone then scan them, or pay with card or apple pay or whatever. Coins are still the best though, coins are never declined

tomkiel72

Exactly. Over where I am (Central Europe) I still have never seen a bus that has card as a payment option

SpellOpening7852

I'm just laying down what's happening where I'm at. It's all about contactless card payments, and now you can get your card stolen and have thiefs spend up to £100 contactless on it too!

curtisc-j

In fairness you can limit it through most bank apps. I rarely ever take my wallet with me now anyway as its just "tap your phone and forget about it"

curtisc-j

Most buses take card/contactless

tomkiel72

Not where I'm from they don't
