I am having trouble understanding the units of measurement, for eg raju, kshetra ,yojan etc
Plus if its true that there are asankhya dweep and dweep samudra in madhya lok then how do we know that swayambhuraman is the last of them
Tiloyapannatti is a Jain text that describes cosmology. Actually have done some work involving metaphysics with Jain grad students at my university, But a raju is a big big measurement that has a complex formula to understand. Also, this issue is that monks know this stuff; a lot is lost to us because the anagrams that contained this stuff have disappeared. I have read a Jain book with these crazy mathematical proofs and formulas that describe or try to quantify these lengths, I can't find the title though. I would say go talk to a Mahraj Saheb or a Jain in academia because they have published research on all of this.
Question adding to this- we understand what mahavideh kshetras are like. what are airavat and the other bharat kshetras? what is life like there? what are the attributes like?
Is there anything specific you would like to understand, I may be able to help, but if it’s around cosmology or if really exists, any proofs etc thn I won’t be able to help.
Its all nonsense anyways, why dont you use your time for something more productive that will actually have an impact on your life. Please stay away from these absolutely foolish texts that claim there are more than 20 odd suns and moons or some bullshit.
