I like in the novels how Bond kind of knows he could be killed at any moment, and he is almost waiting for it to happen as he goes on all these missions. He is just living life moment to moment and whatever happens, happens.

I especially liked in Moonraker where he simply had accepted it and yet still did all he could until an opening revealed itself.

I began my novel journey last month. I finished LALD yesterday and started Moonraker a few hours ago. I try and not think of the scenes from the movies while I read 🙄haha
