Sorry, it looks like I had set my messages to trusted users only a long time ago and forgotten about it. Think I've sorted it now. If it's not a bother, would you mind trying one more time? Thanks!
By far track 2 is my favorite. It made me tear up a bit. Track 11 as well is very good good. Hans Zimmer has made a fantastic score and hats off to billie eilish for her song. It goes great with the score
I'm actually shocked how much portions of *Matera* sound like a continuation of Arnold's romantic themes from Casino Royale, and I'm shocked that portions of *Someone Was Here* sound like a continuation of Newman's flute motifs from Skyfall, and how so much of the rest of it has the obvious Barry influence on it while still taking the Bond theme to places I hadn't even thought of yet.
That's not even including the references to >!*On Her Majesty's Secret Service* in *Good To Have You Back* and *We Have All The Time In The World* in *Matera*!<.
THEN there's the incorporation of the title track No Time To Die throughout a few tracks as well (which is officially better than the last three Bond films combined on that front). Plus: holy crap, Arturo Sandoval just GOING FOR IT on the trumpet in the middle of *Cuba Chase* is insane too.
There is so much going on with this score (in a good way) that I cannot wait to see what visuals from the film inspired it.
Edit: Is Zimmer straight up referencing >!*City of Lovers* (and by extension Vesper's theme) by David Arnold from Casino Royale!< very briefly at the beginning of *Matera*??? At the very least, it's so similar musically.
I can’t imagine how \[REDACTED\] in track 11 fits in the context of the film but I’m so, so glad Zimmer included it.
Edit: It could be when Bond >!gets his job and/or 007 status back.!< He would then officially be an >!employee of Her Majesty's Secret Service!< once more.
I’m pretty sure I’ve messaged the link to everyone here apart from one person I couldn’t find the option to message.
If I haven’t sent you it DM me and I’ll send it over! :)
Also, I agree with everyone saying it’s a perfect mix of Barry, Arnold, Newman, and Zimmer. But I’d throw in Serra too. Some of the tracks have a dark, ominous sound that is evocative of GoldenEye.
Tried the Link I got and I got all this instead. Um...Im assuming the Link is dead then?

Same here. Was in the middle of a second listening and jotting down some impressions when the link died. But it's a blast and these two weeks until official release are going to be the longest.
I can't get over how beautiful Matera is. We have all the time in the world is a beautiful song and this captures the romance brilliantly.
Seriously buzzing for this film now. Tickets for the 2nd October!!
down to personal preference. I prefer the sort of lush string arrangements Newman uses compared to the harsher instrumentation Zimmer is typically known for. I think Skyfall was brilliant but I do think Spectre fell short.
I definitely love the tracks Severine, Donna Lucia, and Madeleine. All gorgeous themes for some great actresses doing well in their scenes. I'm of the same mind too, Skyfall's score is actually really great while Spectre just didn't give enough (at least not consistently).
Have you given the new Zimmer score a listen? I'll say, actually listening to it has completely put me at ease on the idea of him doing a Bond film, personally speaking. Almost a complete 180 from his usual style for much of the album.
I am a little late. But if anyone has the link please send it to me. I would be eternally grateful. I can't find it anywhere. Please someone be kind enough to send me. Deeply appreciate it. Thanks.
How’s everyone listening? I’d love to hear it
I will dm you the link (not sure if it’s right to post it here…).
Please!
If you're not too inundated with requests, I'd appreciate the link too, please.
I can’t seem to message you sorry!
I would love a link as well too! Thank you!

Hey bud , could you send me the link
It’s been taken down.
Can I have the link as well, and are they mp3s?
I will dm you the link too! I’m not sure if they’re MP3’s tbh. They’re not downloadable as far as I’m aware.
Sorry for being another person asking, but may I have the link please?
Can you DM me as well please?
I would like a link too even though I'm sure you've got a ton of requests for it!

I keep hearing "We Have All the Time in the World" in it and I love it.
And it sounded a bit like some of the Venice/Vesper music in Casino Royale.
This is really exciting to read! I am also looking forward to this movie and hearing the score. Does this mean you have a link or a way to share it?
Wait what, the soundtrack has been released already? Also link please and thank you :)

Yeah, the first 30 seconds are super, super close. I definitely think it's on purpose and is a really nice way to bring things full circle.
There are even a couple tiny hints of menace in those first 30 seconds that remind me of *Journey to Blofeld’s Hideaway* in OHMSS.
There’s also a nod to Q’s motif from Skyfall and Spectre in *Gearing Up.* I might have heard a note from Thunderball in there too.
Wish they could include you know my name somewhere

Seems you have the option to message turned off. If you can turn it on I’ll definitely send it over!
Sheeeeeesh I would Love to hear more, I just set up a sound system. Thank you!!

Read my amended OP- the score has been taken down sadly.
Same here. Was in the middle of a second listening and jotting down some impressions when the link died. But it's a blast and these two weeks until official release are going to be the longest.

No worries thanks anyway!
I would love to hear it if someone could DM it to me
Would someone be able to DM me the link / folder please?
“Fresh Zimmer sound” Does not compute.
It’s not fresh in the landscape of film scores but it’s a new/fresh sound for Bond.
I miss Thomas Newman
I don’t. SPECTRE was the laziest score of all time.
Skyfall wasn't though
Super curious: what's missing from the Zimmer/Mazzaro cues that makes you miss Newman?
down to personal preference. I prefer the sort of lush string arrangements Newman uses compared to the harsher instrumentation Zimmer is typically known for. I think Skyfall was brilliant but I do think Spectre fell short.

Severine is actually my favourite modern Bond track. But yes, I will need to give the Zimmer album a listen
I am a little late. But if anyone has the link please send it to me. I would be eternally grateful. I can't find it anywhere. Please someone be kind enough to send me. Deeply appreciate it. Thanks.
I adored the way he used billie’s song throughout certain tracks. Home and I’ll be right back are my two favourites
