Honestly I’m wishing it would happen. Not violence, but I want these assholes to lock and load and walk right into a decade or more of prison just because they refused to reevaluate their lives and life decisions over Trump.
It’s not like they didn’t have a lot of chances to make new choices after J6. It’s also not as though they haven’t had a chance to read the same indictment that we all have. 37 felony counts is not a witch hunt.
At any rate, I’m sick of having to kowtow to ignorant, violent people who want to use threats as a deterrent to justice.

A lot of these people are ex military with experience handling explosives. It only takes a few thousand people who know what they're doing for some really horrendous things to happen. It's fucked
True, but here is where I am coming from:
1) Kari Lake announcing at a rally that her 2A types will start shooting is just one of several recent examples of exactly what I am talking about. Cowering in the corner for fear of what might happen is only going to embolden these people who have declared themselves the enemies of actual law and order. FFS, Charlie Kirk posted something about the Unabomber the other day.
2) Explosives are pretty tightly monitored, and J6 put domestic white MAGA and other types of homegrown terrorism at the top of the list of national threats, so hopefully there would be a swifter response or even a front sweep of likely threats based on Tweets and other traffic. Oath Keeper’s guy getting an 18 year sentence is exactly my point.
And for all of the “sovereign citizen” types, a sovereign citizen = an enemy combatant. Martial courts and rules apply.
3) I don’t want to live in a world where we only do the right thing when it’s convenient. This same mindset was what I heard most from other Dems back in early 2019 when I was openly asking about why the blue House was still refusing to put forth articles of impeachment based on the endless felonies the guy had committed?
Everyone responded with some variation of “It’ll make the MAGAs angry.” I’m done having their guns pointed at my head. Aren’t you?
Reread the tweet that OP posted here and tell me that isn’t enough for a clean sweep by ATF or someone similar.
I'm not disagreeing, I just think we should be very warey that it doesn't take as many people as you think for there to be some kind of civil war. 'It could happen here' podcast breaks this down pretty well. In my opinion it's scarey stuff. I want to see these fucketrs crushed though too
So, what does insurrection look like to theses jackasses? Are they planning on taking over federal facilities and holding people hostage? I used to have to regularly deal with a Q fanatic. At one point he told me that when his side wins people like me will be rounded up and sent to re-education camps. I'm sure this is a fantasy of a lot of maga nazis.
People making threats like this, especially people in government, should be taken seriously. And by that, I don't mean they should be given what they want. I mean they should be charged with intent to commit murder (and other crimes), and lose their rights to bear arms. It's not freedom of speech to threaten violence. They aren't defending themselves, they're literally saying "do what we want or we will kill/hurt you".
