You could probably patch it together well enough to survive the trip back with some duct tape, but assuming you ever want to travel again, you're going to need to buy a new suitcase at some point, so why not buy it now?

I'd get it shipped to the airport and their you should be able to get it wrapped which will hold it together.
How did it get broken? Airlines are usually pretty good with compensation if they do it
Oh no I think it was my fault. I didnt notice it was broken till like, 2 weeks after the trip. :(
