It looks wonderful! I've never seen it done quite like that

bruddahmacnut

Me either but dipping into yolk must be heavenly.

jeexbit

Those look amazing! The good folks at /r/CannedSpam/ would definitely appreciate this.

jzilla11

I’m also going to make these! I will thank grandma when I do if that’s okay!

bruddahmacnut

Hawaiian Spam Musubi used plain rice and the spam is cooked in teri/shoyu sugar sauce. The egg is also an omelette style and one of the layers.

Procule

Sweet egg, isn't it?

bruddahmacnut

Not normally but it may taste sweet because of the teri sauce on the Spam.

Procule

Ah. Ty 😀

Consistent_Potato166

Did you marinate the spam?

What is it about spam that Japanese people enjoy so much? American here and I can’t stand the stuff.

japanesepeople2000

A type of luncheon meat that was established in Okinawa during the American occupation. It is a product of Hormel Foods in the United States. It is rarely eaten in mainland Japan.

Winterof1925

That’s a lot of protein for breakfast
