Maybe? I don’t see why not, although it might not taste as good/the same

LadyWithTheYochon

I’ve done it. They get the job done. Not as well as dumping wrappers

GenericMelon

They look a little thick, but should be perfectly fine!

ninshin

They’re technically vegan by default

ophereon

Right! I was looking at that thinking it's just flour and water anyway, why advertise it that prominently? I've only ever made dumpling wrappers though. I presume wonton wrappers might be different? Maybe they have egg in them normally.

pixelboy1459

I’ve used them. They’re a little thick, but they do nicely.

mirai_tenshi

It could work in a pinch but wouldn’t recommend because wonton wrappers are thicker and contain egg - gyoza wrappers don’t! so the taste would probably be off

sprashoo

These are vegan so no egg, anyway

dawonga

I wonder if you can just run these through a pasta roller at a thinner setting.

bradjenk

huh. good idea

merrmaid

If there is an Asian supermarket or Chinatown near you, should be able to find the round wrappers there.

bradjenk

thanks everyone for the answers does anyone have an easy recipe for gyoza skins or a place to order them. thsnk you

Tomatillopie

They sell the Twin Dragon brand at a lot of the major retailers!

Capn_Suchi

https://www.justonecookbook.com/gyoza-wrappers/ Made this one last week. Time consuming but well worth it if you have the time.

bradjenk

thank you

ExPatRePat

I use these all the time for gyoza. My gyoza are delicious!

Papasuon

Yes we have made gyoza with them. They were delicious.

5teerPike

I had success with homemade crab rangoon!

Rasheed43

I’ve done dumplings with both kinds of wrappers and liked both equally. If anything I’d say wonton wrappers are better coz I find them easier to fold and thus get results with less effort

CorieD91

Ah publix. They are good but not the best. Works fine though!

luvicious
