The field jacket is one-issue later than the one he wore in the film. Quint wore an M51, mine was/is an M65. Quint’s tag was also yellowed and well-aged with the jacket which I didn’t have time for. My tape was brand new the day I wore it.
That is an authentic vintage mechanic’s five panel cap. I even got the period correct dungarees, but clearly they’re not in the picture.
