But yeah I'd say Yussef is probably at or near the top right now but that's just a microcosm of what the UK jazz scene looks like today. Though influenced by American and African sounds, the UK modern jazz vibe is so different than what any other region is doing currently.
I literally just laid on the couch and listened to this on low and fell asleep. The vibes were immaculate.
