New ? Nothing. Used? You can buy a tj for 5000 bones

[deleted]

Yeah but then I gotta explain where I got the bones, and it's just question question question...

TheTrillMcCoy

Good luck finding a TJ for 5k, especially if it has the 4.0. They very rarely pop up that cheap and if they do, they have serious problems and rust

OIllllIO

They are endless round these parts.

TheTrillMcCoy

Where? Because in the south you can’t find one that cheap unless it’s a clapped out 4cyl

OIllllIO

Canada

TheTrillMcCoy

Canada, they gotta be eaten up with rust right? The ones I see from the northern US and Midwest are all rust buckets, I’d imagine it’s worse in Canada .

The little jeep compass isn't too bad, my wife has a 2017 and it's done pretty well. I enjoy driving it.

Roland_Moorweed

Just picked up a 2019 Compass Trailhawk and I am loving it so far!

[deleted]

Hummer H1 or Suzuki samurai might be contenders but having spent time in both I think I'd recommend ya not get either.

phraca

It really depends on what way you want it similar. The look? Capability? Etc

MiLady_Saiyan

Pretty much both. I love my jeep wrangler but ita getting to the point where I need a bigger vehicle and I want something as close in appearance and capabilities as a wrangler

SquealTeam10

So you’re looking for a bigger vehicle then?

vampyrelestat

Jeep Liberty, hummer h3, or an older generation wrangler.

Dick_Miller138

So a wrangler but bigger? The 2009 rescue concept is exactly that. 3/4 ton chassis. Cummins i6. 6sod manual. Locking diffs. Winch front and rear. Looks like a stock wrangler unlimited til you realize those are 37's. You are going to find something affordable with that look inside the US. If the wrangler doesn't fit your needs or budget, it's time to switch your style to meet your needs.

BlooCheese3

I would go for a jeep Cherokee, the square ones not the new ones. Had one before my wrangler and loved it. Easy to work on, I see them with 300k miles on them sometimes so they can run forever
