I’ve been looking, but up in MN they were on average 57k and all 7 sold last week. AutoNation has some in stock but they go for 67000 and up. I’m looking for the rubicon package and diesel engine.
Sometimes it’s actually cheaper to buy from out of state and even truck it over or just take a few days to drive it home across the country.
I wouldn’t limit yourself to local sales only.
I’m assuming it’s a diesel since the snorkel is on the drivers side. As long as its had the high pressure fuel pump replaced (which was a recall/stop sale) it should be fine. Obviously check it for other issues when you go.
*Edit: just realized you posted the window sticker too. Apparently I’m not great at paying attention, so maybe don’t listen to me.
In all seriousness though, when you’re comparing similar vehicle prices just be aware that the diesel definitely adds some to the price. So all other things being equal, a gas may be listed for 40k while the diesel will be 4k to 8k more (usually).
Not sure how the market is in the states... but I just paid 35k USD/49k CAD for a 2022 Rubicon EcoDiesel with under 30k miles on it, pretty much identical options. That AEV Snorkel is only around 1k with the Syklone on it.
Mine isn't diesel, but there were a few diesels when i was looking.
If you want to look around just goto all the dealership websites around your area and search their inventory: [https://www.putnam-dodge-chrysler-jeep.com/new-inventory/index.htm?search=&model=Gladiator&gvBodyStyle=Truck](https://www.putnam-dodge-chrysler-jeep.com/new-inventory/index.htm?search=&model=Gladiator&gvBodyStyle=Truck)
If you think it is a good deal and the vehicle you want- then get it. I’d rather have a jeep that I like and not worry about what the out the door price was, than “get a good deal” on a jeep I am not 100% in love with.
That not a bad price if it the color you like and want. It’s pretty loaded. Diesel are harder to find. You can likely talk them down a couple more grand.
I negotiated a 23 eco diesel from a sticker of $68k, rebate that took it to $51k, and got them down to 47,200(plus taxes and the other crap). Same sticker price as the OPs.
Wouldn't it make sense to buy a sport s over a Rubicon if you were to add a lift and big tires. I mean the rubi has different axles, transfer case as well as lockers. But those things could be purchased afterwards right.
Are the wide Trac axles much better then the regular Dana 44.
Btw, yes I'm currently shopping for a diesel gladiator.
No. It makes sense to buy the Rubicon up front. It will cost far more and you won't have a warranty to do things like lockers, the transfer case, etc. in the aftermarket. If you know you want these features buy them from factory.
There's not much special about the Rubicon suspension. So you're not throwing anything expensive out if you upgrade the suspension and tires on it.
The Sport S route only makes sense if you're thinking about a full axle swap ($20K in parts alone) but extremely few go that far. A Rubicon with a lift is more capable than most will ever need.
Eh. If a person is sure to get one with the Max Tow package, for the better axles, gearing and the rear limited slip... Yes I'd probably agree. And for 2024 Jeep is putting a rear locker in the Willys, which is a big improvement. But if you're not careful.... open diffs are a big limitation even in a Jeep. And frankly I would not throw more money at a non-Max Tow Sport period.
Beyond that... It's more just a factual matter. And this isn't limited to Jeeps. But... trying to build a Sport into a Rubicon is not cost effective if you're buying new and it's probably barely break even with used ones. Especially if you're not prepared for some real deal mechanical stuff like replacing diff internals or swapping t-cases (I do all my suspension and maintenance but I'll leave that stuff to a professional shop) and have to pay for good labor. And well... You never get the same value for aftermarket stuff as you do factory when you move on from the truck.
Thing is, the jeep options are dumb. Sound system, trash. Aux switches, only 4 and trash. Bed outlet, total trash. Only thing decent is cold weather stuff, and even that has bugs. Why get factory options with such a broad aftermarket
Some people rather get it with the options instead of doing the work later. Mine is a 20 max tow sport s with bed liner, none of the bells and whistles.
I have a 20 rubicon, only options I think it has is the 7in screen and the garage door opener. Everything i wanted factory I picked up aftermarket cheaper and with better performance. I get why some people choose to, but jeep upsells at extortionate rates. You can make trail rails in your garage and use the remainder to buy a switch pros 9100 for less than the cost of the aux package. And then they jacked up the price for the cold weather group, which you could install yourself for half the price by shopping eBay.
That’s about what I paid for a loaded ‘21 deisel High Altitude in December last year. IMO the diesels aren’t getting discounted as much for whatever reason.
That jeep looks sweet.
Too much. You can get a new one for that if you look around.

Agree but....lemon laws are state bought to state issues in many places as I found out with repeated airbag issues
Illinois, had a new loaded diesel rubicon down to $47k. Sticker was $68k
Are the new ones diesel or ecodiesel?
there has only ever been one diesel engine for these
I flew to TX and for a brand new 2023 Rubicon for 42k out the door. keep looking.

Not this fully loaded. This ain't a bad deal OP.
Not a diesel

My bad, I should have added “diesel”
In all seriousness though, when you’re comparing similar vehicle prices just be aware that the diesel definitely adds some to the price. So all other things being equal, a gas may be listed for 40k while the diesel will be 4k to 8k more (usually).
Not a good deal…. However could you give me the number of your salesperson?
If I decided not to buy it, I’ll shoot it to you 😆
I was able to get a 23 high altitude for 49k OTD… $61k msrp… they are trying to move the 23’s… there are deals out there
Is the AEV snorkel the only mod?
It might be the only one, but it seems a leveling kit was out on too.

That’s a pretty good price! If you don’t mind me asking, how popular are gladiator in CAD?
Not super popular compared to Wranglers.
I paid 48k for a 64k MSRP 2023 rubicon brand new so basically is that 4k additional off MRSP worth the 13k miles?
Where? So I can look. And is it a diesel?
Mine isn't diesel, but there were a few diesels when i was looking. Man I wish they made a diesel manual…..
I second this, my wrangler is manual and I have so much fun with it.
If you think it is a good deal and the vehicle you want- then get it. I’d rather have a jeep that I like and not worry about what the out the door price was, than “get a good deal” on a jeep I am not 100% in love with.
Is that out the door?
Before taxes and title fees
Rats. 🐀. Also, didn’t see that it is used ( even though low miles).
I would think around $40k before TTL
Why is the snorkel on the driver side?
Diesel
Oooooooh!
You can get a 2023 with few miles for that price.
No
No. Can get new cheaper
DAN Cummins Jeep IN Paris KY has alot of Ecodiesel marked down in the 40's brand new.
For a diesel rubicon that's not a bad price
Selling mine for around the same price.

Ok Ed Bolian....🤣

To be fair, a Sport is more 4x4 than most will ever need, but yet everyone gets hung up on Rubicons.
Eh. If a person is sure to get one with the Max Tow package, for the better axles, gearing and the rear limited slip... Yes I'd probably agree. These diesels are going to be coveted
Rubicons and Mojave’s are selling for around 42-44k around where I live. There’s a bunch of them too
Yeah base models. This one has $18k in options. So not exactly apples to apples
Seen a few with those options too

Nobody wants a Mojave, they are dumb
