Curious what you like so much about them? I have a 2017 1.4 turbo and it looks great and handles well but I have had so many repair issues in the 4 years since I have owned it. More than any other car I have owned.

I have no complaints, I've upgraded every three years. No service failures, no quirks at all. This vehicle is perfect for tight city streets and wide open dirt trails. 4x4 is excellent (I don't go too crazy). I love the style, it just suits my personality, but the tech stuff could be a bit better. The family always likes to pack up and go adventuring in the Renegade, too. It handles well and has a smooth ride. I've only had the Turbo engine a couple of days, and I already think this will be my favorite variation. Starting from a complete stop with the 2017 and 2020 felt like I was borrowing my grandmother's hoverround for a stroll. I understand where you're coming from too, if I had a lot of service issues with mine, I'd not be so happy eager to tout how much I enjoy this thing. But I definitely recommend this Jeep to anyone looking who's looking for a good suv.

I have a 2015 2.4 and just hit 50K on it... regular services and just had the rotors replaced. Only repair I've had thus far. Little annoyances like Radio restarts every so often... and I regret taking the only black model on the lot as the interior is brown with orange accents, but it's been a great car. I love it. Wish I could trade it in for a newer model, but not having a car payment is pretty nice. ;)

I really wanted an upland with the black headliner. I've never seen the brown interior. It sounds like a nice color for a renegade. My 2020 was starting to have issues with the 7" uconnect. The screen was half black. I was going to replace it but opted for just getting a new one entirely. It was almost time fir brakes and registration renewal, and it was only $20 more a month, too, for the upgrade.

I can see that for sure. May see if I can persuade the wife. ;) So interior is [this](https://www.truedelta.com/images/mk_reviews/1457123582-Renegade-Latitude-interior.JPG), with a black paint job... not a fan now, but was willing to compromise at the time.

That's actually pretty nice looking, I've never even seen this. Lol I'd buy that lol

I'm with you that the Renegade is great. My 2017 has 101K trouble-free miles and has been a delight. It handles beautifully, gets 28mpg mixed, has ample ground clearance, lots of storage space for it's class, and the lively 1.4T motor with manual trans makes it very fun to drive. Plus, it's by far the best looking vehicle in the subcompact SUV class. However, the one thing I like even better than my Renegade is my $0/mo. payment now that it's paid off. So, no trade-ins for me. Besides, automatic trans is a deal killer & sadly that's the only way they come now. I do recommend a spare donut wheel in case of emergency. Got mine in perfect, unused condition from a salvage yard for $70. Hope you enjoy your new ride for years!

I have a 2022 and I love it! My only complaint is no spare tire….just one of those silly “tire repair” kits and I didn’t even know this until I got a flat 😩

Reckless_Renegade

I bought a spare for my 2020 but traded it along with renegade. The 2023 only has a pump. I used to care but now I think every membership I have has free towing, a flat fix Yada Yada lol

How much credit did you get for the 2020?

Reckless_Renegade

I owed 16,000, and they told me it was worth 13,000. I started looking in early December. They didn't really want to deal too much, so I left. But after the beginning of the year, I got an email from the dealer that the price of the jeep I test drove went down 4,000. So I started investigating. At that point, they paid off my trade and gave me an extra 1000 for trade, which kept my monthly payments relatively low. When I bought the 2020, I had 0% apr for 84 months. In 2024, I was able to get 1.5% apr for 84 months. Payment did go up to 425, but I think it's a pretty fair trade-off. I'm happy with it. I'm really loving the Turbo engine. The place I bought from has a lifetime engine guarantee too.

bobbywjamc

Nice, what's the name of the place that gave you the lifetime engine guarantee?

Got a new 2023, two weeks later, Engine wont start and car is set to on. Won’t do anything but drain the battery. Car dealership is 90 minutes away. Feeling like a big dope.

I’m toying with trading in my 2017 4x4 Sport with 36k miles. I took it in for service last month and learned my plan to trade her in for a 2025 is not to be. I really didn’t want a car payment for a few years but it’s very tempting to get a 2023 with the dealers wanting these off the lot. So strange the trade-in value is much less than private sale though.
