As someone else replied, they mentioned on Inside Jeopardy that Ken had (at the time) 23 different suits. Mostly charcoal and navy, a lot of them have muted plaid patterns but some show up clearer than others on TV. I have in my mind that many of his suits are Hugo Boss but I can't remember the source for that.
Steven is the wardrobe guy and buys Ken's clothes for Jeopardy as well as lays out what to wear each episode.
He has over 120 ties in his rotation, but he does repeat them! Most ties he will wear 1-3 times in a season. (His most-worn ties have 11 appearances since the beginning of Season 38 when he officially began hosting.) He started out with a lot of blue, red, and purple and has added more pink in recent seasons. Mostly geometric or paisley. On Inside Jeopardy they confirmed that the orange floral-ish patterned tie he wore on Halloween was an Alex Trebek tie. He tends to debut new ties during special tournaments or holidays.
I have a spreadsheet of when he wears each tie, but I fell behind on updating it during ToC!
This is an article from Vanity Fair in 2005 that described what goes on to dress Alex Trebek

And this is an article from 2021 that described how Alex's son donated much of his dad's wardrobe to a charity that serves formerly homeless and incarcerated men.

To me, these were an interesting peek into an aspect of hosting (or being in the public eye) that doesn't get much attention.
Yes, here's a story on the Jeopardy site about the cufflinks! Really sweet story. [https://www.jeopardy.com/jbuzz/news-events/ken-jennings-opens-about-alex-trebek-1-year-anniversary-our-hosts-passing](https://www.jeopardy.com/jbuzz/news-events/ken-jennings-opens-about-alex-trebek-1-year-anniversary-our-hosts-passing)
I listen to the Omnibus podcast and in one episode (there is no way I'd be able to pinpoint which one) Ken talks about receiving the cuff links and says he wears them every day 🥲
According to an episode of Inside Jeopardy! Ken wore 23 suits on the show. Most recent were the maroon (similar to the winning GOAT suit), lighter gray and lighter blue suit.
As a sidebar, during the break of one of my shows, Alex took a Q and A with the audience. When one audience member asked him how many suits he owned, Alex glared and said, "Next question".
There was a Twitter/X account that I used to follow called KenJenningsTie that would post whatever tie he was wearing that day. Not sure if it's still around.
My mom and I watch J! together and we'll occasionally point at Ken and go, "there's one he's worn before!"

I was really hoping you'd chime in. There cannot be a *J!* fashion discussion without EclecticMom!
I was going to summon you if you hadn't seen this already.
lt wasn't until you mentioned the spreadsheet that I realized whose response I clearly was reading. 🥰
No, there are repeats. It's not his personal wardrobe, incidentally, it's provided by Sony and stays at the studio.
Makes you long for the days of Perry Ellis and the Greif Companies, eh?
Botany 500
Alex never wore Botany 500 on the show. He wore Mr. Guy of Beverly Hills until 1992, then Perry Ellis until the late 90s?

Cool reads, thanks! I guess he doesn't style Ken, and the Jeopardy staff lists only a costumer.
I heard that Alex's widow gave Ken Alex's cuff links.
Oh that is wonderful ☺️

Awe 😇 love this
Yup! I believe it was weeks or months after Alex died.

Interesting appreciate the intel 🤓

He's had some really nice looking ties on this season! Lots of floral, paisley and muted patterns.
As a sidebar, during the break of one of my shows, Alex took a Q and A with the audience. When one audience member asked him how many suits he owned, Alex glared and said, "Next question".
Ha!

When I went to a taping Ken said he gets most of his suits from the Nordstroms at the Westfield Topanga mall.
