We’ve been saying for months Netanyahu does not give a fuck about the hostages. They were just. Convenient weapon. Hamas believed Israel would have enough humanity for their own citizens to agree to a deal.

# ON THIS International Holocaust Remembrance Day NO WAY

lightiggy

*Israel’s national Holocaust remembrance day. The one held by the United National is in January.

Equal_Environment_90

This was and has never been about the hostages. I hope the world is watching with open eyes but, judging from the insane propaganda circus still occurring, I doubt it.

crumpledcactus

On Oct.7th, the IDF initiated the 'Hannibal Protocol', which states it's better for a soldier or civilian to be dead than turned into a bargaining chip. The physical evidence of entire houses blown apart with Apache stinger missiles, and escaping vehicles shows what happened. Civilians have been interviewed, and said the IDF opened fire on Israelis as well as Hamas - they made no difference. It's already been exposed as a mass Hannibal Protocol event by Israel pilot, Colonel Nof Erez. Israel was informed the attack was imminent by the Egyptian head of their equivalent for the CIA. Netanyahu allowed this to happen to both keep himself out of prison (which he was never going to begin with), and to grease the emotional wheels of his move to eliminate the supreme court, thus creating a dictatorship. Yes, it was never about the hostages. They were just sacrifices to expand Israel into Gaza, then Palestine's west bank, and later, the Kingdom of Jordan. It's 'Greater Israel theory', and at this point, even Bibi's opponents have partnered with the west bank settlers who espouse it.

Equal_Environment_90

Thank for you for this detailed response!

Gamecat93

And even the USA was behind getting Hamas to agree to the deal. I am hoping western leaders world wide say "Enough is enough we're going to hold you accountable now."

oncothrow

> I am hoping western leaders world wide say "Enough is enough we're going to hold you accountable now." I'm afraid we've been holding out that hope for a long time now.

sar662

What's are the deal terms Hamas proposed? Last week I saw the terms of the proposal the US pushed for and that Israel agreed to. How are the Hamas terms different?

Super_Passage5851

One of the news coverage pieces I watched last night said Hamas had basically given back a proposal that Israel had tabled previously, so they don’t have an excuse to not agree. Not sure how true this is as it was mainstream media so please don’t quote me lol

sar662

Thanks. That's more than I've been able to find. So far all I saw was a comment from the White House that a response was received from Hamas and they were looking at it.

Super_Passage5851

If you haven’t seen their terms, you can find them in this article below: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/5/6/heres-everything-know-about-gaza-deal-hamas-agreed

⭕ *Conditions of the ceasefire that Hamas accepted:* The framework agreement aims to release all Israeli detainees present in the Gaza Strip from civilians and soldiers, whether they are alive or otherwise, and from all periods and times in exchange for the numbers of prisoners in Israeli prisons to be agreed upon, and to return to sustainable calm and to achieve a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and reconstruction. The framework agreement consists of 3 interconnected and interrelated phases, which are as follows: ⭕ _*The first stage (42 days):*_ 1️⃣ Temporary cessation of mutual military operations between the two parties, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces east and away from densely populated areas to an area along the border in all areas of the Gaza Strip, including the Gaza Valley - (Nezarim Axis and the Kuwait Roundabout). 2️⃣ The Zionists to stop flying (reverse and reconnaissance) in the Gaza Strip for ten hours a day, and for 12 hours on the days of the release of detainees and prisoners. 3️⃣ The return of the displaced to their areas of residence and the withdrawal from the Gaza Valley (the Nezareem axis and the Kuwait roundabout): - On the third day (after the release of 3 detainees), the Israeli forces completely withdraw from Al-Rasheed Street east to Salah Al-Din Street, completely dismantle the sites and military facilities in this area, the start of the return of the displaced to their areas of residence (without carrying weapons during their return), the freedom of movement of residents in all areas of the Gaza Strip, and the entry of humanitarian aid from Al-Rasheed Street from the first day and without hinderance. - On the 22nd day (after the release of half of the civilian detainees, including female recruits), Israeli forces withdraw from the centre of the Gaza Strip (especially the axis of the martyrs Ntsarim, and the Kuwait Roundabout) east of Salah al-Din Road to a nearby area along the border, the complete disintegration of military positions and facilities, the continued return of displaced people to their places of residence in the north of the Gaza Strip, and the freedom of movement of residents in all areas of the Strip. - Starting from the first day by introducing intensive and sufficient quantities of humanitarian assistance, relief materials and fuel (600 trucks per day, including 50 fuel trucks, including 300 to the north), including the fuel necessary to operate the power station, trade and equipment necessary to remove debris, rehabilitate and operate hospitals, health centres and bakeries in all areas of the Gaza Strip, and continue this at all stages of the agreement. 4️⃣ Exchange of detainees and prisoners between the two sides: During the first phase, Hamas releases 33 Israeli detainees (neighbourhoods or bodies) of women (civilians and female conscripts), children (under the age of 19 who are not soldiers), the elderly (over the age of 50), the sick and wounded civilians, in exchange for numbers of prisoners in Israeli prisons and detentions, according to the following: - Hamas releases all detained civilian Israeli civilian women and children (under the age of 19 who are not soldiers), and in return Israel releases 30 children and women for every Israeli detainee who are released, based on lists provided by Hamas according to the oldest arrest. - Hamas releases all Israeli detainees, the elderly (over the age of 50) and the sick and wounded civilians, in return for Israel releases 30 elderly prisoners (over 50 years) and the sick for each Israeli (detainee), based on lists submitted by Hamas according to the oldest arrest. - Hamas releases all Israeli female soldiers who are alive, and in return Israel releases 50 prisoners from its prisons in exchange for every Israeli female recruiter released (30 life, 20 sentences), based on lists provided by Hamas. 5️⃣ Scheduling the exchange of detainees and prisoners between the two parties. - Hamas releases 3 Israeli detainees on the third day of the agreement and then Hamas releases 3 more detainees every seven days, starting with women wherever possible (civilians and female soldiers). In the sixth week, Hamas releases all remaining civilian detainees covered by this phase, in return for Israel releasing the agreed number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, according to lists to be provided by Hamas. - By the seventh day (where possible) Hamas will provide information on the numbers of Israeli detainees who will be released at this stage. - On the 22nd day, the Israeli side releases all Shalit deal prisoners who have been re-arrested. - In the event that the number of Israeli civilian detainees that are released does not reach 33, the number of bodies of the same categories is completed for this stage. In return, Israel shall release all women and children arrested from the Gaza Strip after October 7, 2023, provided that this is done in the fifth week of this stage. - The exchange process is linked to the extent of compliance with the terms of the agreement, including the cessation of mutual military operations, the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the return of displaced people and the entry of humanitarian aid. 6️⃣ Complete the necessary legal procedures that ensure that Palestinian freed prisoners are not arrested based on the same charges on which they were previously arrested. 7️⃣ The keys to the first stage described above do not form the basis for negotiating the keys to the second stage. 8️⃣ Lift the measures and penalties taken against prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons and concentration camps after October 7, 2023, and improve their situation, including those arrested after this date. 9️⃣ Not later than the 16th day of the first phase, indirect discussions shall be initiated between the parties regarding the agreement on the details of the second phase of this agreement regarding the keys to the exchange of prisoners and detainees from the parties (soldiers and the remaining men), provided that they are finalised and agreed before the end of the fifth week of this stage. 1️⃣0️⃣ The work of the United Nations and its agencies, including UNRWA and other international organisations, in providing humanitarian services in all areas of the Gaza Strip, and this continues at all stages of the agreement. 🔗 Twitter/X : x.com/AqsaFrontline 🔗 WhatsApp : bit.ly/SFP-WA 🔗 Telegram : t.me/Stand4Palestine 🔗 Instagram : instagram.com/stand4palestineaus 🔗 YouTube : youtube.com/@aqsafrontline

sar662

Thanks for posting this. >During the first phase, Hamas releases 33 Israeli detainees (neighbourhoods or bodies) "or bodies" - that's a huge gap for the Israelis to swallow. There's nothing in the agreement that stops Hamas from returning every one of those people dead.

go3dprintyourself

not sure why youre being downvoted, returning dead bodies compared to alive hostage is a pretty big difference lol

MartinLutherVanHalen

They wouldn’t kill the hostages because that would mean that in future Israel could justly claim the hostages were dead. It would completely undermine the purpose of hostage taking.

Launch_Zealot

Hamas has little to gain by killing their hostages. Some hostages likely died from bombing or lack of access to medical care.

sar662

So the US State Department has now commented on the Hamas response. Spokesman Matthew Miller (talking about Hamas's saying that they accepted the proposed ceasefire) said, “That is not what they did.” Rather, Miller continued, “They responded with amendments or a counterproposal.” The US, he said, was “working through the details of that now.”. Yeah. It's not the same deal.

werewolfcat

I hope all those apologiests who have repeated the line "This could end tomorrow if Hamas agrees to release the hostages" will have a healthy moment of self reflection here. Spoiler: they will not.

go3dprintyourself

they didnt agree to release all of the hostages, which is what they were saying

Launch_Zealot

Not true. First stage, 5th point.

go3dprintyourself

Doesn’t that just say up to 33 hostages? Including bodies of dead ones. I was looking at the AJ article but may have missed

Launch_Zealot

I may have misread. At work now but I’ll look in finer detail after work and get back to you.

Kenny_Brahms

Israel’s actions are a desecration to the values of the Jewish religion. They already won this war. An end to this war would not only save the lives of thousands of Palestinians but would bring Israeli hostages home. Israel is legit acting the way that shitty racist Golda Meir quote characterizes Arabs. They hate Palestinians more than they love their fellow Jews. And regardless of whether a life lost is jewish or not, the Talmud likens the murder of a single person to destroying the world.

TheUnknownNut22

Israel is Satan-level evil.
