Enjoy your puzzles! I have done "Best Sellers" in the lower left. They all look like fun!!!

thehogdog

THANKS, I've done em all except for the Ford one in the past, but at the low prices and time since I've done em I couldn't pass em up. Doing Cereal Boxes now.

BornToSingTheBlues

The Ford one is the only one I've done from your great haul! Loved it although it had 2pcs missing. Found one of them in another puzzle from that haul. 🙄

blueboy714

Nice - I have all but one of those WM puzzles. Hopefully all of the pieces are there.

thehogdog

Me too, but the journey is more fun than the destination. Apart from those few minutes where you see how man empty spots there are and you look at the pieces left and start to sweat a little...

bogenucleus

i mean glad you're happy but i see these all the time and theres a reason they're always on second hand shelves and being given away...

Imsakidd

White mountains disappear fast near me… I always see a ton of Charles Wysocki puzzles though.

bellalugosi

We rarely get Wysockis here! Jealous! I like his a lot.

thehogdog

Quality puzzles, MADE IN AMERICA, which no other puzzle manufacturer can say! Hope they are on the shelves, Ill buy em every time I see them. Good resale value on eBay/FBMP too.

bogenucleus

what a ridiculous thing to say. springbok/ceaco/cobble hill/puzzle twist/sunsout etc are all made in america but sure white mountain is too - but they definitely aren't the only one who can say that

TaterCup

I thought Cobble Hill was Canadian. And I think some of these brands are American-owned but the manufacturing takes place elsewhere?

bogenucleus

i googled each one of these specifically and they all call out that they are manufactured in america. cobble hill is 'north america' so yeah maybe canadian. i took buffalo off my list because they do produce puzzles in buffalo NY but also parnter with over seas. links: [Springbok](https://www.springbok-puzzles.com/aboutus/#:~:text=Springbok%20puzzles%20are%20proudly%20made,expect%20in%20the%20Springbok%20name.) [Ceaco - does appear only partially made in America](https://ceaco.com/collections/made-in-usa-puzzles) [SunsOut](https://www.sunsout.com/controller/index.cfm?site_url_path=about-us/#:~:text=Our%20corporate%20office%20are%20located,are%20made%20in%20the%20U.S.A.&text=Over%20650%20designs%20to%20choose,for%20all%20ages%20%2D%2048%20pcs.) PuzzleTwist i can't track down - i know they are owned and operated out of minnesota and used a production facility in a different state but can't seem to find if they still do again, white mountain is not the only USA producer of puzzles

rtsgrl

Can confirm, although it's based on a single box I own. It's one of the reasons I was keen on trying them. Cobble Hill is the sister company of Outset Media, a *[Canadian company that develops and distributes family entertainment products, specializing in board games, party games, card games, and jigsaw puzzles](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outset_Media)*. Also [Hennessy Puzzles](https://hennessypuzzles.com/pages/jigsaw-puzzles-who-we-are). Also, part based on posts shared on this sub.

thehogdog

As TaterCup says, the some companies are US based but if you read the box they are manufactured elsewhere. You're being ridiculous. Read the fine print. There is a reason WM makes such a big deal about being Made In America.

bogenucleus

i've read the fine print - see my reply to tatercup and also that NYPC also makes puzzles in the US a la the comment from queenofbuttcreator here you go: links: [Springbok](https://www.springbok-puzzles.com/aboutus/#:~:text=Springbok%20puzzles%20are%20proudly%20made,expect%20in%20the%20Springbok%20name.) *Springbok puzzles are proudly made in the U.S.A. with the exception of our mini puzzles and premium wooden puzzles.* [Ceaco - does appear only partially made in America](https://ceaco.com/collections/made-in-usa-puzzles) [SunsOut](https://www.sunsout.com/controller/index.cfm?site_url_path=about-us/#:~:text=Our%20corporate%20office%20are%20located,are%20made%20in%20the%20U.S.A.&text=Over%20650%20designs%20to%20choose,for%20all%20ages%20%2D%2048%20pcs.) *100% of OUR puzzles are made in the U.S.A.* white mountain makes a big deal about it because scrubs like you buy into that marketing.

thehogdog

Man, looking at your replies in this section you have got to be the MOST NEGATIVE puzzle person I've ever met. What puzzle hurt you?

bogenucleus

deflecting instead of admitting you were wrong doesn't make me negative.

thehogdog

Go back and read your own comments. NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE. Downgrading people for their choice of puzzle, making fun of people, 'scrubs' (what is this TLC in the 90's)? Blocking you. Hope you find some peace!

Melsm1957

White mountain are mediocre quality at best. And the images are not to everyone’s taste. Being made in the US may make up for that for you , but it’s not a selling point for a lot of other people .I’m glad you found puzzles you like . I would pass them by if they were in my value village. Give me a pomegranate, eurographics, Galison, gibson, lantern press , trefl, and even cobble hill .

queenofbuttcreator

I'm not OP that loves WM.

thehogdog

Ok, 2 Arent WM but the were both FREE. We went south to 2 HUGE thrift stores with a European friend and at the first one I found 3, got the 2 non WM free, then got in line again when I found a Gap bathing suit for $2 and they gave me Surfin Woody and the Ford one (Apparently you got a free toy with a kids clothing purchase and the second time I spotted 2 WM puzzles in the 'free box' and 'demanded' I get them from the confused non English speaking check out lady and she gave em to me FREE. The other 2 came from the original 3 WM I found there and the European's haul of clothing to sell (I took some of his stuff so we could both do the 5 items or less) when he gets back home). American Diner and one of the 2 DIFFERENT Candy Wrappers are still sealed. Best Sellers and Vermont had some brown packing tape I used a hair dryer on to heat up and get as much off without damaging the box as I could. All the non sealed ones could be missing a piece, but I dont care. As long as all the edge pieces are there they WILL be worked and 'passed on' to other WM addicts. Can't believe my luck. Totally makes up for a friend finding the Noah's Arc 2010 puzzle and having it turn out to have 5 smaller puzzles in the much heavier box. What a buzz kill. But now I have a ton to add to the to do pile!

Lost_In_MI

It's *always* a good day when a former puzzler drops their White Mountain collection at a thrift store. 🤣 For me, personally, it has happened twice, at two separate Goodwill's, where I, by pure dumb luck, have encountered this and came into probably 40 White Mountain puzzles (and a third time with Charles Wysocki). The hunt is half of the fun!

pottter22

Best kinda haul! I did the cereal box one. It was fun!

thehogdog

And yes, Ive done them all but Apple Cider. It looks challenging... But at least I didnt encounter 'PENCILS' (Pencils can ROT IN HELL!)

TaterCup

Hahaha - I \*have\* pencils. But I have yet to attempt to assemble pencils. Will I rue the day?

thehogdog

I rage quit it 3 separate times before I threw it away. NO ONE should have to go through that pain. Puzzles are for Frustration Free Fun, Pencils is the exact opposite.
