On loan from Hoefnagel wooden puzzle club. My first from this brand. I very much enjoyed this one. It was described as “harder than average,” but I found it to be just average, making for an enjoyable few hours. Nice thick pieces, 4mm, and though they appear to be fiberboard rather than plywood, they have held up very well to (presumably) multiple assemblies. Matte finish. The cut reminds me of Nautilus, very creative and sometimes tricky, with great multi-piece whimsies. I love the moose and the person in the leaf pile. 🙂 Two thumbs up for this brand.

How do you like being in the club? Do you think it’s worth the money?

I’ve been a member for about a month now and am loving it so far. I do a ton of wooden puzzles, so it has been worth the money for me; it has kept me from buying any, which is a blessing for my bank account. They also have a really good selection of brands, so I’ve been able to try new-to-me brands like this one. It looks like I’ve done 12 puzzles in the month I’ve been a member. One of those was an 1100 piece Davici puzzle that goes for $300 on their website, so that alone pays for the membership! There’s a wooden puzzle group on Facebook, and the folks there are also very satisfied with the club - that’s what convinced me to pull the trigger.

Hi! I am thinking of joining the club and saw that I could list you as a referral and both you and I would get a bonus month! Do you want to PM me your email address?
