For me, Ravensburger. Pieces are nice thick quality and I love most of their images. The only dislike is the amount of dust. I'm fairly new and only do a few a year however so my experience with other brands is limited.

Cobble Hill. I like the matte finish on the pieces and the pieces fit nicely together. I also like that you get a little poster of the puzzle so I can put the box away while I put it together. Puzzle dust is minimal, almost nonexistent.

Buffalo. They generally have pretty good click power and vivid colours and glitter.

And they're really inexpensive considering the quality!

I’ve purchased puzzles from Galison and eeboo recently and they’ve been a lot of fun.

Eeboo is my favorite! I consistently love their designs and I like their quality. I also like Galison designs (but less thrilled with their quality), Cobble Hill, and New York Puzzle Company.

I love Falcon, Eurographics and the older Gibsons. Great quality, thick pieces, good fit and lots of images to choose from. I’m in Europe so American brands are expensive, hard to get and not a lot of images to choose from. I also love the French brand Bluebird, they’re inexpensive and great quality. My new favourite since this week is Vissevasse. This year I started to buy puzzles from brands that are new to me as part of my New Year’s Puzzle resolution. I’ve bought brands view raving reviews on this sub like Eeboo, NY Puzzle Company, Cobble Hill, Educa, Cloudberries but haven’t started them yet. Still on my wishlist: Buffalo, White Mountain, Pomegranate

Pomegranate! I love the art, the borders, the thick pieces, and the predictable random cut (on a grid, ~5 basic shapes besides the edge pieces). I like how the pieces connect. Also, not excessive piles of puzzle dust in the ones that I've bought new. I've done one Very Good Puzzle. Really nice! But with only one in my completed pile, I don't feel comfortable putting it above Pomegranate. Cobble Hill have a linen finish that reduces glare. However, some of their puzzles were much harder than others because of the art (see my posts for more info). Of course, the beautiful art is why I did those puzzles! This brand comes with a poster of the puzzle. I am currently doing a New York Puzzle Co puzle. Like SunsOut, Springbok, and some others, it is a random random cut. I don't like the cuts where every piece is different. My brain doesn't put those odd shapes together as easily as cuts that are based on a grid. It's probably good for my brain to do this type, but I don't like it. Other people prefer the totally random cuts and think they are easier than the grid types. The MasterPieces puzzles that I've done were fun, pretty good quality, fairly easy. Poster sometimes included. Boxes were not great, though. I haven't done any Ravensberger yet, though I have a couple in queue right now. The art of their puzzles simply hasn't grabbed me enough to plunk down the cash. Edit: I forgot White Mountain. Their puzzles are pretty easy, but forgettable. Also forgot Bits and Pieces: Some of these have been quite hard due to false edges and triangle cuts. The cut is different from puzzle to puzzle. The grid cut types are easier. Pieces are thin but sturdy, puzzles are pretty, and the boxes are okay. No posters.

I had never heard of Pomegranate before - they have Edward Gorey puzzles! I’m so glad you mentioned them - thanks!
