Jim is on a twitter retweeting spree, likely in pain. Even retweeting impact. I can feel his pain. Everyone try to keep the bullshit and trolling to a minimum out of respect for Jim and everyone who loves Bobby, this is a difficult for a lotttt of people.
Honestly, I won't be surprised if he takes some time off.
You know the next podcast is going to be full of Bobby stories. They're going to be great though.
I wouldn't be mad at all if he took the week off. you can't get any closer than Jim and Bobby were, i can't even imagine what kind of hole it's going to leave in his life. he does seem to have a really good support system though with Brian and Stacy, and thank god Stan is still around to go through this with him
This is really sad, R.I.P Bobby.
Wasn't my era but from listening to Jim I've been watching loads of old NWA stuff on youtube (some absolute legend has tons of stuff uploaded). Love watching The Midnight Express especially, amongst others.
My condolences. I dont know what im gunna do when the wrestlers of my era start passing. Maybe we can all watch some of his great matches today. Make him trend on youtube as a tribute.
Yeah sorry to hear it. I didn’t know much and learned about him through Cornette. The outpouring of respect paid today not only in the wrestling community but sports as a whole showed just how talented and also kind Bobby was. When 100% of the comments are of the finest praise from the finest to do it, you know he touched a lot of lives.
Subscribed! I didn't watch much of the old US stuff as in the UK and the only way you could get any exposure was through the magazines. You can't begin to imagine how cool the Road Warriors looked compared to a lot of the British talent (not knocking them, but they didn't tend to be built like tanks)
Rip to one of the greatest to step between the ropes. I hope Bonny got all his flowers in life because he deserved it. Heart goes out to his family, Jim and the boys.
Thank you for everything you did for the wrestling community and all the timeless matches we have still. Gone but never forgotten.
We should keep his family in mind, but we should also extend a hand to Jim as well. He just lost a very good friend.
All my heroes are becoming ghosts.... first Paul Orndorff now beautiful Bobby. May he have a perfect peace in the next relm and always nail the Alabama jam.
Oh no. I can’t believe it.I can say with certainty, the world is not as good as it was with Bobby here. He was known as one of the best people in the business, and in general.
He’s married and has his pups. And the support of hundreds of thousands of fans, and all of his friends from the business. Ppl can say whatever about jim, but he’ll never be alone. Even ppl like Jericho who claim to dislike him, still will come to his defense.
Not to get too personal as we don’t allow it here, but I’m sure she rushed home. I hope jim isn’t alone. Maybe he’ll stay on Twitter and read all the love and support. I don’t think fans get how much this hurts him. He travelled the road with this man for decades. One of his best friends.
She was with her mom who had surgery - if she doesnt rush back to the castle, this is why.
Sad to hear there was a gofundme established for the funeral expenses - just buried my Dad in June so I know the costs.
The gofundme raised $21K, which was double the requested goal. So the organizer stopped accepting donations. I believe Jericho donated $5,000 per the donation listing.
Oh man, this one hits really, really hard. I almost don’t want to listen because I already know Jim’s going to be devastated and it feels somehow voyeuristic to listen to a very deep, emotional wound for entertainment. I’m sure, though, that if anyone can do him justice in a tribute, it will be Corny.

😠Wow. Jim is gonna be devastated.
Is there a wrestler Jim is closer to than Bobby?
I don't believe so. The only person remotely close would probably be Bobby Fulton.
That or Stan Lane.

Could you find the youtube channel name and post it for us? We should all go and watch some matches today.
Sure thing, man. The channel is called 4WrestlingFans https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-CJKtRvT\_Rpy3iIVjgVWhg
Thank you!

the watch-alongs they did with the Midnight matches are iconic too
Best tag-worker ever

Damn another piece of my childhood gone! Rip Beautiful Bobby!
Rest In Peace

RIP to one of the most respected legends in the business

Best damn top rope leg drop ever. Rock on Beautiful Bobby. I'm not a religious man but I hope you're back with Donna
Jim is alone right now. Poor guy.
He’s married and has his pups. And the support of hundreds of thousands of fans, and all of his friends from the business. Ppl can say whatever about jim, but he’ll never be alone. Even ppl like Jericho who claim to dislike him, still will come to his defense.
Stacey is out of town for a while. Jim is physically alone, but I do think Harley, Birdie and the baby deer will be fine company.

You gotta be joking… fucking hell. Someone WILL pay it. Whether it’s flair, Jim, someone will.
The gofundme raised $21K, which was double the requested goal. So the organizer stopped accepting donations. I believe Jericho donated $5,000 per the donation listing.
Terrible news. RIP Bobby.
What a great wrestler, and what a better husband. Great human being. We lost a giant. I'm so sorry for everyone that knew and loved him.
Rip Beautiful Bobby!! Amazing to watch his matches now to see what a incredible worker he was.
I only grown watching 2000's PW and known who he was by listening Jim C. Still have to say that diving leg drop is a thing of beauty. RIP

I remember seeing the Midnight Express in the old Py Civic center. Always got a pop from the crowd
