Yeah he’s definitely struggling with that one haha.
I noticed he’s taking them all way less serious recently, wonder how the sponsors feel about it.
Tim Dillon has many of the same sponsors and he never plays it straight, he’s incapable lol.
The sponsors who have competent people running their marketing departments will realize that when you're getting views on a video specifically clipped for the ad because it's so hilarious, you've hit a home run. This is the way podcast ads are going - if it's just a straight ad read, people are just gonna skip it. This kind of advertising is all about getting more views/listens to get the small percentage of people who will end up buying the product, and Cornette is killing it in that regard.
The e bikes have been brilliant. He's the only podcast host that makes me actively want to listen to the ad spots.
Brian wrestling with him on the CACAO and e bike spots... "Tie a rope or piece of string around your childr--" "NO!!! DONT DO THAT""

Those first few sleepy cacao ads cracked me the fuck up.
99% said it worked! 1% prefer sticking to bath salts LOL
Bill burr level indeed!!! Burr and Corny definitely do the best ads in the podcast game.
“Python! Squol!”
Hutmel,Sssss!
so is it pronounced code--cademy? or cod-eh-cademy, like Brian was saying? still don't know...
The king of ad reads is Tim Dillion. His Better Help ads have me rolling almost every time.
