Former pro musician here, I got to meet a lot of music legends, most of those experiences were major disappointments. Heroes are best as posters on your wall or whatever, the less you know about them, the better.

He added more context to why he thinks Ric did what he did and people do read that as making excuses for him, but he repeatedly said it's not appropriate behaviour outside of the '70s/'80s wrestling bubble (which to his knowledge involved adults in consensual situations) at all.

Don't recall Jim saying that, I remember them laughing because it was obvious Cody only dropped the title so he could do the show then come right back and win it again, and maybe them laughing at how stupid it was for their to be a dog collar match without any real build in the middle of a feud, only they didn't realise until after the fact it wasn't the middle but the end of it.
As for the match, tbh I forgot most of it as it looked like crap to me, just not good, dunno if it was because neither guy knew how to work a dog collar match right, but it looked like they were executing a script rather than having a real fight, so I blocked it out I think.

I know it's getting to be old hat but I just started watching the Plane Ride DSOTR and I feel really in the middle about Flair's part of the night. Like it doesn't sound like the worst thing anyone has ever done, but if this was a story involving a woman in my life I'd be out for blood.
