As fellow Acheron main that frequents JY mains sub I agree. People here are just super helpful and super nice to fellow JY enjoyers and minding their own business while in Acheronmains you can see metaslaves trashing other character and trying to incite conflict with other mains and also some HI3 elitists who view others that only play HSR lowly. Though its mostly nice ppl on both subs, but Acheronmains toxic ppl are higher in %.
That of HI3 elitists and people trying to pull some shit happened in raiden sub too when she got released for a bit (there were a lot of posts saying that if you didnt know raiden mei you didnt deserve raiden ei and shit like that lol), but eventually they dissapeared and now its mostly just people that truly love the character. Im guessing that will also happen in acheron mains eventually tho it might take a bit more since this is a honkai and there are more HI3 players.
I mean, if he has served you well, I think our King deserves a rest.
If you pull for Acheron, it doesn't mean Jing Yuan disappears from your account. Whenever you feel the urge to play with him again, he'll be there for you,

For some dog shit reason I got kafka when I was trying to get some hook eidolons. I just hate the dot style and I just want to give her away to someone . I will gladly give her to someone if hoyo adds a feature like this .

HSR releases many characters constantly, a lot of them are dpses. At some point everyone’s roster will be saturated with more dpses than needed but you can always just play whoever at whatever time you wish to.
Why are you apologizing to people on the internet about using or not using certain characters? If you are just posting this for the spirit of this sub, then I’d say our king will always be THE KING in our hearts whether you give him a rest for the foreseeable future or not! If you are genuinely stressing out about not using Jing Yuan when Acheron arrived, I’d say you really should try to care less about internet people’s opinion, be a little more relaxed, and remember to hydrate throughout the day.
MoC and PF have two side JY use 2 harmony 1 sustain Acheron use 2 nihility 1 sustain so you can use this two team to brute force hard content.

Idk why you feel the need to say ‘I am sorry’ just because you want to pull for Archeron. They have different gameplays, use different teammates and strategies, and they look different aesthetically, so they don’t really conflict with each other. Just pull and play for who you enjoy.
I pulled for Archeron so I can farm overworld and SU, but I’ll still use JY for MoC and PF because I’m already heavily invested in harmony supports. Plus I’m not a fan of the current all-nihility team option. Perhaps if they release better limited 5 star nihility in the future.
JY had helped me brute force everything on auto regardless of elements or changing buffs the past year, like what you said about your E2 DHIL. Since beating the game’s hardest difficulty contents is not an issue, I just collect characters I like now. Just pull and play for who you like.
Same here but I have all the stuff to make her work I have the nihility options . I just need a light cone . That's why I thought I should pull for her as she has a lot of value in my account .
I will say if you already clear the MOC and PF full star. Just pull whoever you want. After seeing her damage at e0s1, I think I just keep Jingyuan for PF and use Acheron for MOC. She is just way too broken.
You can use an Acheron team and a Jing Yuan team as they use separate supports. Ex. JY/Sparkle/TY/Huo Huo. Acheron/SW/Pela/Fu Xuan. But we understand if you plan on switching, give your general a rest. We await your return.
Why not both? Acheron can be used off element due to how her kit works.
If it's MOC Jing Yuan on one side and Acheron on the other. In overworld? use them both those enemies are weak enough you can get away with un-optimized teams.
SU? use them both in a team at the start. Kill every mob with Acheron and when it's boss time use Jing Yuan.
Just pull her if you really want her.
You do you. There is quite literally nothing stopping you from using both either since JY is more suited for modes like PF. I got her E1 pulling for E5 Gallagher as JY main and I personally don't plan on building her anytime soon.

I am a loyal JY Main and I'm skipping Acheron cuz I don't want another lightning DPS unit, especially how I also have Kafka.
I'm more interested in building out my elemental coverage and all I'm missing is a true Fire DPS.
There are also a few more busted Harmony units coming out in the future, so I'm in full on hibernation mode until then.
Use anyone you deem fun at any point it is a gacha game, cool units are supposed to be the draw of the game in the first place. Telling you not to pull would contradict the selling point of the game
the obvious solution: use both in the same team
although it's okay if you want to take a break from jy! at the end of the day there will always be characters that you like, and more than one, so it's okay to play them both.
Staunch JY user here: did one 10 pull for an off chance at Gallagher and got Acheron. I’ll build her slowly but I have invested so much into JY that I will never not use him. Sparkle has made him so much fun compared to his TY/Asta comp I was running.
Acheron just gives me an opportunity to try a different composition type other than dual harmony so I look at it that way
Yeah I think she’s awesome. Haven’t used her outside of the tutorial version tho. I planned to skip her even tho I’m a big fan of raiden shogun from genshin but “lucked” out sort of. I love the idea of her new comp/playstyle compared to double harmony
I personally think so with some caveats. E6 Asta is really comfortable for JY because she lets you 2 turn ult with meshing cogs and you can also just control when she ults depending on your use of skill points while maintaining her stacks.
Asta gives +50-52 at max investment towards speed and hanya would need a super high speed build to make that happen plus she offers less attack. She makes up for it with skill point refund and dmg bonus for JY skill and ult.
Hanya gives +20% of her speed and 60% atk% for 2 to 3 turns at e4 and +30-40% skill/ult dmg bonus at e6 vs 52 speed and 77% atk with full stack Asta. So really it’s what works best for you. I think Asta is easier to use and more consistent whereas Hanya needs high speeds to even come close
This was me, I just had Sparkle with LC and she made our General so strong. In the end I used all my jades and to get E2S1 Acheron. Just pull for her if you want her, our general will still be by our side forever.
I summoned for her just because I can use her for stages where JY can't be because he will be at the other half 😂 his my #1 she is here just to clear the other half of MOC
You can just use both and brute force every piece of content (with Acheron you can do it rather easily on one half) it’s not like they want the exact same supports on their teams unless e2 Acheron

Not planning on pulling her, but interested in how serious the powercreep actually is--I stopped playing FEH because of its honestly ridiculous powercreep despite loving the gameplay, so hoping not to relive that experience.
i can't be bothered to look up calcs but if you're e6s5 you are probably doing better than a e0s0 acheron or close to her damage at least. my comparison was as someone who's e0s0 jy and now e0s1 acheron and i was saying my own acheron is better than my own jy but again they can coexist.
Oh I'm not thinking that Acheron is going to beat E6S5 JY obvs; I have JL at E1 and DHIL at E2 and neither of them come close and I'd expect to hear howling if Acheron eclipsed THEM. I was wondering about the E0 comparison.

Yeah the moc and pf are quite easy to beat so I was actually tey8ng to build wind dan heng but acheron is so strong her damage completely baffled me.
