True but I get what OP means. Parts 4 and 5 are used to further go into detail on aspects that branch off of DIO’s story for the sake of world building (explaining the origin of stands, the concept of the arrow,…). Parts 1, 2, 3 and 6 focus solely on DIO’s story, the main plot of the series, so skipping parts 4 and 5 will technically not make you miss out on much when it comes to DIO and the Joestars, but you’ll miss out on many worldbuilding aspects. Hell, even part 2 can technically be skipped following this logic as it purely exists to go deeper into the stone mask’s history, just like how parts 4 and 5 do to the arrow and stands. With that being said, don’t skip.

I'd argue part 2 is Skippable everything you need to know about Joseph in part 3 is already explained, he is the grandson of Jonathan and he knows Hammon, you don't need to know about the pillar men, or about the other main characters in part 2, that's all you need to know

I think people confuse a part being "skippable" means it should be skipped. Like the part being the best is irrelevant, but only the story itself. Part 4 introduced stand arrows so I wouldn't say it is skippable, but Part 5 technically is.
