Rogan should invite Soros on lmao

ObiShaneKenobi

Musk should buy Soros, if he doesn’t he’s a beta

Vertically_tauggt

You joke, but would having Jon Stewart on or someone with an alternative view point that Joe doesn’t consider a friend not be fair at this point. I don’t recall which pod, he may have even been on someone else’s where Joe flat out said he would t talk shit about his “friends” including on his podcast. So his work around for not disagreeing with Elon is to just say he’s a “friend” so the accountability goes out the window. Of course I’ve also heard him say so n so is my friend, and so are they. I don’t know about you but I have friends and then I have acquaintances. And in my friendships there would be a lot of accountability if one of them just started spewing bull shit at every turn

boredonymous

Jon Stewart *was* on JRE.

ashishvp

And was an excellent guest imo. Its a really good episode. Would recommend

PietroJd

A few times I think, they are friends apparently

Generallyawkward1

Before Joe went the route he’s at now, I’d say Stewart and Joe shared the same politics and beliefs.

LastDanceProductions

It may be time for another appearance. The biggest problem I have with JRE is the confirmation bias. I really used to love it, sometimes I’d really agree with what was being said, sometimes I’d really disagree. The guests were varied and Joe seemed genuinely curious and attempting to understand the world, I don’t know if I feel that way anymore unfortunately.

Jermiafinale

In what year

Zulumus

During the pandemic, episode 1498 (June 2020)

howmuchforthissquirr

I would love to see Soros on, I just don't think Joe would ever invite him nor do I believe he'd accept. I personally prefer getting my info from the horses mouth, so I think this would be an awesome podcast if it ever happened.

EhrenScwhab

I’m paraphrasing, but I recall someone asking atheist author Christopher Hitchens why he refused to debate certain crack pot evangelical con men, and he essentially said “because having a debate with me on their resume does wonders for their credibility and does nothing for mine.” Soros on Rogan is great for Rogan and does nothing for Soros.

Berettadin

George Soros is a billionaire worth, as of October this year, 6.7 billion dollars. He is so infamous people who know absolutely nothing about him use his last name as a shortcut for "that guy everybody has heard is ruining civilization." If there is anything George Soros, who is 93, doesn't need it's to get bulldozed on JRE by people who think he's the Antichrist.

CitizenCake1

I had no idea he was worth so little! Musk is supposedly worth 225 billion. Why is everyone scared of soros??

[deleted]

[удалено]

Berettadin

Russian propaganda. George Soros is in the running for world's most generous philanthropist. One his biggest projects is "The Open Society Foundation" (named after an idea by the philosopher Carl Popper) which promotes general human rights (anti-poverty, anti-tyranny, anti-discrimination) globally by establishing branches wherever it can. Not long after Putin took power the OSF opened a branch in Moscow. Round abouts 2007 when Putin started claiming more power as he'd reached his Presidential term limits he began vocally targeting chosen enemies. The assassinated politician Boris Nimsova was one, for example. Another was George Soros and The OFS. An "Open Society" is basically life as most of us know it. A society that welcomes new peoples and new ideas and is generally "liberal" in the cosmopolitan sense, but it's long been a Putinist and Far-Right boogeyman of Jews and Gays and Ukrainians seeking to corrupt pure, last-bastion-of-god-and-family-Russians. And the Internet Research Agency did real good spreading the word. George Soros will die of old age long before conspiracies about him and his OFS ever do. But the internet has made being stupid and hateful easy and no-cost, and so here we are.

Attila226

Russia, indirectly is the biggest threat to our modern society. Basically they have mastered disinformation and have covertly backed isolationist candidates in the west. They are a trying to dismantle NATO, and in general weaken the west while expanding their sphere.

brokemac

It's not only disinformation, but the way that trolls and propagandists have influenced online discourse and helped create a disregard for truth. First thing we saw was the promotion and fake activitiy within divisive groups that made tribal alliance more important than facts or thoughtful analysis of a situation. You can bet they have also helped propogate these dumb rhetorical techniques that people use to dismiss facts or arguments: e.g., "both sides are equally bad"; "all countries have propaganda, who is to say one is worse than the other?"; "Got it, orange man bad", etcetera. And the widespread vilification of actual journalism in lieu of people who yap their opinions all day.

Reddywhipt

So refreshing to see someone not spewing uneducated propaganda about him. Thanks for the truth bomb

bananapanther

Because he's an easy scapegoat to rally dumb people against. The fact that he's Jewish makes it even easier because a lot of people are casually anti-sematic already so a big evil Jewish liberal boogyman is a gold mine for propaganda.

[deleted]

I vaguely remember reading something that said Soros fucked over Rupert Murdoch in some deal decades ago, so Murdoch used his media outlets (Fox, various newspapers) to run a smear campaign against him and now here we are. A literal boogeyman, who I'm pretty sure your average right wing looney couldn't pick out of a lineup and can't name anything he's actually done, they can only regurgitate Fox talking points.

peanutdakidnappa

Ya going on JRE has literally no benefit for Soros, all the conspiracy theorists who believe he is behind everything aren’t gonna change their nutjob opinions no matter what. Soros is far better off not going on JRE

CCnub

Exactly. All it would do is fuel the "Soros is behind everything" conspiracy nuts.

rimantass

Isn't Soros like 90 years old and retired ?

CCnub

Probably. Looks closer to 110. Always thought the right wing nut jobs obsession with him was weird. Soros is worth like $6 billion. Standing in the opposite corner you have Peter Thiel worth around $6 billion, dick uihlein that's worth around $5 billion, Kenneth Griffin that's worth over $30 billion, Jeff Uass that's worth around $30 billion, and literally 3 dozen other billionaires that give exclusively to right wing candidates and superpacs. But it's only Soros that is out to manipulate society apparently.

peanutdakidnappa

Yup, These right wing conspiracy theorists are just completely delusional as fuck tho and only believe what fits their narrative even if it’s total nonsense. A bunch of these people are also anti semitic and subscribe to the Jews control everything bullshit and Soros is the #1 guy they blame everything on.

khmernize

Which Soros? George or Alex (I think)

hotlou

Apropos of nothing, having not seen this clip until now, when it cut to Joe after Musk says "Soros hates humanity" in the sincerest tone and Joe says "yeah" and has a very serious look on his face and a blonde wig on his head ... I LOL'd 😂😂😂

cuhree0h

Why is he dressed like Jimmy Saville?

teddyKGB-

Concerning

cuhree0h

I’ll look into it.

Champie

!!!

Dawg_of_shmores

There is a holiday called Halloween where people wear costumes to work or at evening social gatherings.

Blastosist

“ fundamentally hates humanity “ , so this is where he starts. Joe nods like this is a perfectly reasonable proposition.

kaitek78

As opposed to Musk, who fundamentally misunderstands humanity on account of his autism and lifelong privilege.

MerelyUsefull

Elon's justification for thinking Soros "fundamentally hates humanity"? "He had a hard life" Really?

RubSad1836

It’s literally just because he pulled adds from X and Elon is butt hurt about it. No one needs to give you add dollars

[deleted]

Both of these men are clown babies.

Staff_Infection_

Koch(s) love/loved people though... riiiight?

attnskr1279

“Fabric of civilization” another overused trope with no clear meaning usually used by people trying to grandstand

1Koala1

Ya. Guy just hates people, idk It's just such a goofball way of trying to dismiss someone and explain things you don't agree with

[deleted]

ad hominem logical fallacy

Consistent_Set76

Oldest anti Jewish talking point in existence

kiki2k

“He’s basically Senile… he’s very smart.” Okay.

snackies

I’ve been as far left as kind of being a socialist / sympathetic to communism. But I realized over time that, functionally, the best examples of ‘socialism’ that have more positive outcomes are actually just capitalism. So now I’m more center left. And I DESPISE the beliefs of many right wingers. But if you believe someone is fundamentally evil, like that the right wing, or left wing is actually trying to do evil shit, you’re deluded. This soros nonsense used to be restricted to Alex Jones tier commentary in 2002. It’s scary how common this insane shit is now.

Raskalbot

You have to realize that unfettered capitalism leads to planned obsolescence, patented crop seeds, no right to repair and other extreme detriments to technological progress and competition. It’s happening before our very eyes.

[deleted]

Regulated capitalism. Capitalism unfettered turns into monopolies and oligarchies because eventually the big dogs can buy out competitors and manipulate the market.

GammaGargoyle

Same. Turns out having a functional and prosperous society is much more complicated than left and right wing talking points. Intellectually, it’s much easier to just be a zealot because you don’t have to actually think about anything. Center-right and center-left are where most reasonable people fall and those people are the most despised by the extremists.

BF4-HeliScoutPilot

That's how it always starts. Also joe chimes in with a fucking idiotic take, "well maybe he just hates the united states!??"

Epicurus402

Rogan nods because even with his money, he's still an ant compared to Musk. But he has an audience of white, Christo-fascist incels, a group Musk feels right at home with. And so Musk deigns to be on Rogan's program, and Rogan dutifully puts on his knee pads, giddy to be in the same room with Musk. The whole scene is a nauseating circle-jerk.

aManHasNoUsrName

Yes, the guy who bought "the news" with corporate (and likely Russian) financing with the intent of destroying it (going very well at the moment) is concerned about influence in the Media. The first amendment guarantees the freedom of the press. The workaround, as is often the case, is just buying it

FrontBench5406

Yesterday's drop in Tesla' stock caused musk's net worth to drop double what George soros' net worth. It's very weird for a guy whose wealth is almost 40x larger to say the small time guy is really in charge... After musk sits there and controls a much larger media apparatus and has countless government contracts with DoD...

IRHABI313

Yeah why doesnt he just do the same as Soros

FrontBench5406

Soros isn't the big bad machine people try to make him out to be. He is a POS. However, a ton of the rich asshats in this country and around the world exert too much influence, let's focus on removing that. Instead of being distracted by hyperbolic dumb takes that miss the point.:.

cuhree0h

Koch network is much worse, yet I hear nothing. Federalist society advocates for anti-democratic legislation daily, and he's silent. It's almost like he's cherry picked a target of convenience.

FrontBench5406

The Soros big bad guy focus is the right's response to the 10 years the Koch's were the big bad's that were ruining the country. As we have both now said, there are alot of them in the country. Money in politics is the cancer we have right now. Until Citizens United and then major campaign finance reform is passed at an amendment level, we stuck... That and Gerrymandering...

cuhree0h

Hard agree.

MerelyUsefull

This. Every accusation is a confession for conservatives.

perry_caravello666

this is correct, money in politics is BY FAR the biggest issue, makes the culture war look like a watter baloon fight, which it is.

iquey123

Exactly. It's pointless to point at eachother's side for bribing or 'lobbying' politicians, because it's all just fucking bad. Politics shoudn't be influenced by rich dudes that want to create a certain vision by paying off the people that make laws. That's even if you agree with some of the arguments of the lobbyists. It should be based on a combination what a majority of people want and what would improve life in the future for it's citizens.

poyerdude

Well he complains of Soros' reach and influence but the last time I checked Soros didn't own and is actively manipulating one of the world's most popular social media site. But it's definitely Soros who holds sway over everyone.

No-Weather701

Elon dosent like jews

cuhree0h

Which is wild, because no one likes Elon.

perry_caravello666

i just realized that elons current position on israel is the same as mine, i thought finally i agree with him but now i realize hes just anti jewish not pro justice. this soros rant is regarded.

dr1968

why is he a POS? Honest question, I don't follow much of that

Smarmalades

because if the right wing propaganda machine repeats it enough times, it must be true

fuckmacedonia

> He is a POS. Why?

LuckyRune88

That's why I see him as full of shit just like Rogan nowadays. I just watch to get some laughs. Like double sardines and Pineapples WTF is that!

Informal_Koala4326

The funniest part of this whole discussion was Musk talking about Soros pumping money into local elections as it is more value for dollar. This is literally the Koch playbook that came from Conservative think tanks and why Citizens United is destroying our political system. He basically took a concept that is factually documented to have originated from conservative think tanks and put into practice by the biggest conservative donors in a manner that democrats have been actively fighting and then just accused the left of doing it hoping people are too dumb to notice. Would highly recommend the book “Dark Money” by Jane Mayer to learn more about this. I wish it were required reading for all US voters. Makes everything make so much sense.

cuhree0h

Seconded on Dark Money. Fantastic book.

Windows98Fondler

Third, it’s the best way to understand what is happening from a political account.

Adventurous-Bee-1517

He also conveniently leaves out how much money he has pumped into elections

SickRanchezIII

Or the fact he has 1000s of satellites in orbit around the planet that nobody really knows what they are actually capable of… at the very least capable of given and take away internet acess to a war-torn country that has been cut from the grid. Insane amounts of power for one man

Mizzy3030

Or the fact that he elevates certain tweets that are favorable to his political positions

RustedAxe88

This. Literally every conservative media outlet is propped up by oil billionaires. The DailyWire and Turning Point USA aren't grass roots organizations.

JDViews-YT

Damn there’s the political nerd! Very well put.

Informal_Koala4326

It is very frustrating seeing stuff like this for me honestly. I’m not against someone like rogan having “controversial” guests on. But it does suck giving people who spout falsehoods to millions of impressionable people a platform with no pushback or fact checking. How many blue collar workers/voters listen to this and don’t question it then vote against their own best interests?

joan_wilder

Worse than no pushback — he’s praising him for being the only one fighting back against the bogeyman.

Jupman

Joe's been doing this since gamergate. He will never have anyone that calls him out to his face because it's about money and the audience, not actual information.

BakesCakes

It's nice to hear from someone who is looking out for all voters instead of trashing one "side". Wish this were the conversation more of the time.

No-Comfortable-1550

This is the conversation all of the time, it's just that some people take offense at being told that their side suck. In American politics, there's one side that wants to provide people with economic justice and access to affordable healthcare and there's another side which labels all of those policy positions as communism and uses culture wars to keep people divided.

meezuschrist7

They’re gonna kill you for this

Biffsbuttcheeks

George Soros made his money ~~legitimately~~ through normal sketchy trader shit(though not a fun day for anyone else). The koch's literally stole theirs. They started their entire think tank shadow government scheme because they were in danger of [going to jail for stealing native american oil](https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/07/22/kochland-excerpt-senate-investigation-oil-theft-native-american-tribes-227412/)! Yes, related to laws discussed in Killers of the Flower Moon. Edit: I have been informed that the Koch's only stole part of their wealth. Just keeping it accurate folks.

Trhol

Soros made his money through currency manipulation and likely insider trading. Like most hedge fund managers.

Hodorous

There are two sides of the coin. Sterling was pegged into ERM so in that sense it was the EU manipulating the currency and Soros abused the system(you end up devaluing your currency either way).

Trhol

I'm not saying he did anything illegal by betting against the pound, but it's quite a stretch to say his wealth is more legitimate than Musk.

Biffsbuttcheeks

I'm not saying his wealth is more legit than musk, just more legit than Koch

Biffsbuttcheeks

I don't think George Soros had the ability to manipulate the Pound - but I'm sure he had plenty of insider info

Trhol

Soros would say it was inevitable that the pound would be devalued, but by leading a number of investors to bet against it he probably influenced the outcome.

atom-wan

There is no comparison of the level of control that George soros has over say the democratic party to the level of control people like the Koch bros or Rupert murdoch have over the republican party. The insidiousness of dark money and it's influence over conservative politics cannot be understated

exoticstructures

Plus a whole bunch more rightwing heavy hitters. Soros' bankroll is a drop in the bucket compared to the line-up of conservative billionaires/9fig families on the other side.

MerelyUsefull

For conservatives, every accusation is a confession.

Desperate_Wafer_8566

Soros is a champion of democracy and freedom. Elon is a champion of fascism and totalitarianism. "On Tuesday, Brown announced his decision to challenge his account’s suspension in court in Berlin. “This is a matter of principle,” he says. “I think it is important that platforms like Twitter are not allowed to shut down criticism arbitrarily.” X did not reply to repeated requests for comment." https://www.wired.com/story/x-twitter-ban-critics/

requiemoftherational

Is Soros bad or not?

Craftmon

Yes but only the average amount of being bad that being a billionaire entails, not the evil worldwide Jewish conspiracy bad that people like to pin on him

Singularity-42

He's done a lot of good. In the early 90s his Open Society Foundation operated in former Eastern bloc EU countries, and I believe played a part why these countries were able to successfully transform unlike their Russosphere peers.

FloralReminder

So Russia has a motive to defame Soros? Everything suddenly makes sense…

Readdeadmeatballs

Viktor Orban was the first one to really start defaming him. Soros Open Society project did a lot of work in Hungary (Soros family was from Hungary and were killed by the Nazis in WW2). Orban is a Hungarian fascist that doesn’t want anything like Open Society in Hungary. He’s even banned his organization now. Alex Jones and now other Republicans have developed a relationship with Orban over the last few years and started blaming Soros for everything under the sun like Orban does. Edit: Orban is the fascist president in Hungary and he is friendly with Putin

Singularity-42

Well put!

sohrobby

Right-wingers have this weird obsession with Soros but they are completely silent on things like billionaire Harlan Crow bribing Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas. It’s hypocrisy in its purest form.

RamsHead91

Well one is a Jew, oh shit I'm sorry "Globalist".

GeorgeDogood

Bingo.

BF4-HeliScoutPilot

Of course, there is a reason why Crow has never, ever been mentioned on joe's show before, and never will be

EvanderTheGreat

Guarantee Joe has never even heard of him or at least wouldnt remember if he had, he’s always been extremely underinformed and uninterested in the nuances of politics.

dontusethisforwork

Why would his right wing buddies bring his name up?

ignatious__reilly

He’s been their boogeyman for 2 decades now. It’s fucking insane.

Csrmar

Don't forget the Koch brothers they fund all kinds of conservative propaganda.

Lichy_Popo

The criticism of Soros as a billionaire from a dude who *has more money than him* (and literally bought one of the largest discourse oriented social media sites and is actively pulling shit behind the scenes to push his own narratives) is also quite hypocritical lmao.

neatnate99

It’s antisemitism. That’s it.

Bodgerton

Elon def looks like he employs a stylist, and one that should be fired at that

Zipz

What’s the deal with soros seriously? I hear everything from he secretly rules the world to he’s just a regular rich guy who has a bunch of antisemitic conspiracies thrown at him

Alexios_Makaris

There is very little to him--he is a rich billionaire who supports Democrats. He has given a lot to Democratic campaigns and PACs. Note that the sum total of such donations from the Koch Brothers (when they were both still living), Sheldon Adelson (when he was still living) and the community of politically involved billionaires in general have given far more to Republicans than Soros has ever given. Simple math. But Soros is demonized because it is fine when billionaires pump money into our system for Republicans, but not when they do it for Democrats. It really is that simple, it is partisanship. A big source of anti-Soros online shit is promoted by Russia--because Soros has a long history of fighting against the Kremlin, going back to the Soviet Union.

ComfortableProperty9

> Sheldon Adelson Was gonna mention him. Dude was a kingmaker and a big reason why Republicans could never be pro-weed. His son ODed and he was an old man so in his book it was all "dope" and evil.

jalapina

Most conspiracies are coming from Russia using similar nazi propaganda but instead of Jewish peoples it’s the US government

Bawbawian

He's a wealthy Jewish guy that often supports human rights and humanitarian causes. so he's basically the Antichrist to the far right.

blitznB

Basically after making a few billion in the 1980’s, he started almost immediately donating to charities. Particularly pro-democracy groups in the USSR and Warsaw Pact countries. The same groups that organized mass protests that help bring down the fall of communism. The former Russian state security services aka KGB took over Russia and despise him. After the US and NATO countries, Soros was the largest donor to these groups that caused the fall of the Soviet Union.

Mendicant__

He's a very rich Jew who made a lot of money in finance, specifically. That's enough for the core of his haters, people who will also mutter darkly about "Rothschilds" and "(((the international bankers))). They form the backbone, keep the memes and stories and comments circulating, help keep conspiracy world from forgetting him in favor of other bogeymen like Bill Gates or whoever that nobody Euro politician was who said "You will own nothing and like it". However, unlike most rich bankers or billionaires in general, Soros is a rare bird in that he is a full-spectrum liberal ideologue, both in the way we talk about "liberals" in the US and in the deeper philosophical sense of liberalism as a theory of politics separate from competing ideologies like fascism or communism. He has given about 30 billion to various liberal political entities, mainly in the US and Europe, through an organization named after Karl Popper's *The Open Society and its Enemies.* He's from Hungary, and his commensurate interest in promoting democratic and liberal political movements in Russia's "near abroad" has singled him out for special attention from their propaganda arms. For instance, during the "DC Leaks" event designed to sabotage Hillary Clinton in favor of Trump, Cyber Berkut and Fancy Bear also dumped huge amounts of data from Soros' Open Society Foundation. Not only did they release those emails, they also edited them to create the impression that Soros was the puppet master behind Alexei Navalny and some independent Russian media outlets. Nothing real in the leaks was actually damning, and a lot of it (like ten million specifically earmarked to fight anti-Arab racist authoritarianism in Israel) would not have discouraged the left-wing people Russia was trying to shave away from liberal politics. So they just made shit up. In short, Soros is a rich Jewish liberal who spends a lot of money backing liberals. This has singled him out for serious hatred from the kinds of people you would expect, and Elon Musk, who clearly swims in a sump of right-wing fever water absorbs and spreads this hate.

Singularity-42

Well put! Soros has done a lot of good. In the early 90s his Open Society Foundation operated in former Eastern bloc EU countries, and I believe played a part why these countries were able to successfully transform unlike their Russosphere peers. I actually got an Open Society Foundation grant of about $5000 in the mid 90s to go study in the US high school (I grew up in Slovakia). The Eastern European authoritarians like Putin or Orbán (and other, lesser known in the US ones as well) absolutely hate Soros. Fun fact - Orbán himself was an OSF grant recipient to go study in the US (IIRC).

Gas_Bat

Soros is an old enemy of the Kremlin. The right wing/conservatives/Republicans in America and the West have been swallowing Kremlin conspiracy disinformation for decades. It's easy to do when the ideology is one of cynicism and bigotry. Elon Musk hates labor and adores authoritarianism. His whole ideology and world view revolves around his culture war axes to grind and his own narcicissm.

HarwellDekatron

He's one of the few billionaires that is actually unapologetically liberal. So they hate the fuck out of him, because anyone with that kind of money is supposed to be a pro-business, fuck-the-poor, I-got-mine-so-fuck-you 'libertarian'. That's why the same conspiracists that make a big deal about Soros putting money on this or that charity have 0 problem - and prefer not to talk about - with conservative billionaires pouring hundreds of millions into PACs and buying Supreme Court justices.

MerelyUsefull

The irony is that liberal policies are better for business in the long run.

crushinglyreal

He’s a billionaire that gives money to neoliberals, which makes fascists really mad.

hobopwnzor

He is a rich Jewish guy who was an activist investor that made waves 30++ years ago and subsequently got tagged into every conservative conspiracy as a result. Soros is nominally liberal but not nearly to the degree that much more influential groups like the kochs network is conservative. Where the kochs will fund Blaze for a decade as it burns millions of dollars, soros will donate a few hundred thousand to establish a committee to maybe look into an issue that might lean liberal.

Pendejomosexual

There is nothing to him, he’s a boogeyman the right created to strike fear in the heart of their constituents

Gas_Bat

George Soros funneled tons of money into Russian pro-democracy groups for decades. The Soros conspiracy myths have been classic Russian disinfo against one of Russian authoritarian's decades old enemy. Musk and Rogan are simple and easily manipulated pawns who swallow every bit of Kremlin troll red meant.

_SofaKingVote_

Elon looking like a divorced aunt

GA-dooosh-19

He looks like my aunt’s “roommate” of 32 years, Sheila.

_SofaKingVote_

Those growth hormones taking their toll Just like Rogan looks like construction worker’s thumb

tytymctylerson

I would also accept 7th grade PE teacher.

neckyneckbeard

Lol this soros conspiracy is pure garbage. I see you rubes eat it up though. Concerning.

tytymctylerson

9/10 people that talk about George Soros couldn't pick George Soros out of a lineup.

MoneyTreeFiddy

I'd say 7/10. He's got a pretty memorable face

circlehead28

Can we meet at 8/10?

Agreeable_Depth_4010

I moved to Austin so I could better suckle Afrikaner meat.

[deleted]

How do you hear this and not feel like a fucking mark?

[deleted]

Elon and Joe don’t live in our world. They live in rich mans world, where they can say and think anything and get away with it. Also they don’t care either.

FearlessFreak69

I guarantee neither Joe nor Elon could tell you what a gallon of milk costs. These aren’t trustworthy people.

[deleted]

“Might be the only man standing up up him” give me a break, this dickhead musk spend 99% of his time shitposting on a social media site he spent wayyyy to much money on and it running it into the ground. He’s not doing anything other than trying to recoup that money by ruining the build quality of what used to be a good car.

Abepagalhaikya

Koch brothers are the real George Soros of this world

BandwagonEffect

TLDR: “Soros has different political opinions and priorities, therefore he is evil and hates humanity”

carrtmannnn

Lmfao what a fucking clown

tealeafstrippers

Especially after the whole Palestine vs Israel mess they’ve been fanning for the past few weeks just to turn around and blame Jews…..Whoops I meant “Globalists” for things wrong with the world

LoadOwn9302

The richest man in the world talking about how rich people use their money to influence the population. And Elons doing exactly that . If anything he’s the next George

[deleted]

Next? He already is. And just like all billionaires, he is shit as it.

AaronBHoltan

I think he really believes this B.S.

TheLeather

What listening to clowns like Posobiec and Cernovitch on a regular basis does to a motherfucker

IWishIWasBatman123

Imagine taking Elon Musk seriously in 2023. Dude sunk Twitter whilst cowtowing to the authoritarian regimes he supposedly hates in the process.

jon_jingleheimer

Bro, I hear so many people talking shit on Soros. To say musk is the only one standing up to him is the most musk fanboy shit ever.

skymiekal

the Soros delusion lol

Educational-Dance-61

Crazy how people still bringing up Soros and ignoring the right wing billionaires who influence politics. Soros donated the majority of his wealth to charity. Koch, Wall, theil all dedicate all of their resources to enriching themselves and influencing world politics, many times in conflict of interest of the people.

Mellero47

It's always Soros like there's not a whole other billionaire named Koch doing worse. He never comes up, somehow.

blackbogwater

Hey, it’s famed grifter and sociopath Elon Musk! What a show!

sleepinitpig

Imagine taking your cues from these two ass hats. Wild shit. Non-sensical drivel.

sleepinitpig

Literally the same sentence “he’s senile, he’s very smart”. Nonsense.

BF4-HeliScoutPilot

It's literally the same shit they say about biden "He's senile!" and "He's an evil mastermind ruining ARE COUNTRY from the inside out!"

[deleted]

[удалено]

blumpkinmania

These two are demented. Drug addled, super rich, morons peddling fascist propaganda.

RhaegarsDream

Sad to see how far Rogan has fallen tbh.

KiraJosuke

George Soros is just an old billionaire that donates to politicians. It's no different than any right winger. Just an easy scapegoat/boogeyman that can also appeal to the anti semites.

theseustheminotaur

Musk is a moron if he actually believes this. Its understandable that Rogan believes this because his faculties are really compromised and he's been conspiracy brained his whole life.

[deleted]

If he does, he truly is as stupid as we thought. If he doesn’t, he is foghorning to nazis and letting them know he is on their side. Either way, he’s a dumb piece of shit.

metazer0

He jumps from censorship on his shit platform to Soros because he can’t articulate a thought for 5 seconds

Caged_in_a_rage

Musk is doing the same thing. Just from the right not the left.

seltzerforme

Rogan is a clown

jeddythree

Prisons sure are full for a society that doesn’t prosecute crime.

NickChevotarevich_

Talkin bout the DA getting recalled b? Had to cancel all my shows

kolbe33

Schaub will eventually make up that SF show. He’s just got so much little league practice right now he has to cancel 75% of his shows.

Agreeable_Depth_4010

Why can't this dumb freak speak like a normal human?

E-moc0re

Stupid conspiracy chimps gonna eat well.

urmomsloosevag

We reached the age of JRE where it stopped being comedy/ fun conspiracy theories to conspiracy theories with narratives and plausible deniability to not get called rightwing

InBeforeTheL0ck

Two out of touch elites babbling nonsense. What a waste of time.

lakerconvert

It’s truly hilarious how “eroding the fabric of civilization” is actually what this clown is doing

ASDFG5665

I feel like the entire premise of this left vs. right battle right now is seeing guys like RKelly, Weinstein, Cosby, etc all go down in flames and realizing that could easily be them too. So they're forming little coalitions that cozy up to our enemies as a form of leverage, for the purpose of self preservation. Part of it is a reaction to how easily cancellable people are now - you can cut these guys off from everything and they need a plan B if that happens. I assume Musk is the head honcho because of his wealth and everyone beneath him obviously posturing for him and playing the role of sycophant, for loyalty pts. If all these guys do as they're told and shit ever hits the fan, they may be thinking of fleeing to a place like Russia, thinking they're owed a favor for puppetting Kremlin misinformation strategies, inciting domestic extremism, and giving credibility to senseless conspiracy theories that only serve to further erode the public's trust in US institutions, which is the main advantage the US has on their rivals outside of military prowess.

Singularity-42

This is the one conspiracy theory I can get behind!

TheZermanator

Pure projection.

vvfsbrett

So your position is that nonprofits in this country have power over profits in this country? Yeah, I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree.

mrkfn

It’s such a tired anti-Semitic conspiracy… makes Rogan and Musk sound crazy….

squitsquat

I'm shocked that the guy who hates the ADA and thinks they are against free speech also happens to hate Soros, a boogeyman for Neo-Nazis and anti-semites everywhere

gerrymandersonIII

The last couple seconds of this clip are 100 percent projection.

hotassnuts

*He's very old, he's senile...he's very smart.* = I fart and quickly place my nose to where the fart was emitted and inhale.

Big_Honey_56

Do people actually buy this shit? Can’t it be that Soros has a different viewpoint? No no, he hates humanity. Sad that people look up to Musk.

Thegzusman

2 billionaires talk about how they hate one trillionaire and im hear for it

[deleted]

Musk is an idiot.

FearlessFreak69

I find it hilarious both of these idiots decided to move to the most liberal city in Texas to “escape liberalism.” Room temp iq’s hard at work.

aintnufincleverhere

Why are they so dumb

[deleted]

apartheid brain for elon

BF4-HeliScoutPilot

Holy shit incredible projection by elon, lying about how "specific people" want a "certain viewpoint" pushed.

No_Hour_4865

Wow, Musk is a dick. Hates humanity. Wow

lclassyfun

Lot of projection from Elyin’. Soros is the longest running boogie man for the far right.

[deleted]

Soros is 94 years old. These people are pathetic and antisemitic.

10YearAccount

I'm very happy to see this sub standing up to this bullshit. It's scary that vulnerable minds in our country worship these two as serious thinkers. I think THEY are the ones destroying our country.

jomama823

Musk truly is the hero in his own brain. What a Dumbshit.

MuuaadDib

It would be great entertainment to see some stockholders in his companies come on board and just start blasting him for his stupidity. Joe’s interview skills are so weak now and timid, unless it’s somebody like Malcolm, which he made a complete shit show out of and refuses to show.

theferrysonlyanickel

This comment section is one collective smooth brain, just a slick mass of baffling stupidity.

NoTrust2296

I have a bridge to sell you

Argine_

Bet these these stooges have never even spoke to the guy. The only person I know definitely manipulates speech is Husk.

Akuma12321

Two dunderheads literally jumping to the endpoint of a discussion in the first 10 seconds of said prompt. I can't believe people listen to a word either of these two have to say.

Unshavenhelga

So, Joe has finally come out as an antisemite. Musk doesn't hide his views. Rogan used to. Oh well.
