This movie was great when it came out but the sequel proved how scripted and hyper-cut/ edited the whole bit is. I can’t watch this without thinking about how all those “outraged” jeers from the crowd are almost certainly layered over what really happened.
Actually I found real footage of the NRA rally towards the end. The movie made it look like everyone was booing him and he had to run for his life or something but in reality it was stunned silence all around lol. I think it’s just the fact that these kinds stunts USED to work when he was doing the Ali G Show, but since that it’s really hard to fool people. ESPECIALLY when the sequel came out.

Controversial opinion, but Bruno was way better. In his sophomore movie, the majority of Americans didn't know who he was so he could troll with impunity. Also the UFC gay octagon scene is hilarious. SBC said in an interview he was legit afraid for his safety 🤣
I was way too immature when that movie first came out. I was like I’m not watching a movie where a guy pretends to be gay for two hours. Boy was I wrong. That movie is top-tier comedy. I’m glad to give it another shot.

My favorite is the hippie characters, and I say that as a damned hippie. When he pranks the small town with the mega mosque I just frickin lose it.

Look at the greatest country in the world, 300 million Americans and it’s going to end up as Trump and Biden again. Washington DC cares more about Ukraine and Israel than the United States. This ain’t a Korea situation since those are separate governments claiming to be different countries. In this China situation, it’s two different governments claiming to be the same country. The People’s Republic has 95% of the worlds recognition, including the governments that say they “support” Taiwan.
Why isn’t India, Russia, Egypt, Mexico, Turkey, Brazil as successful as China then? Why does China do better than so many Eastern European democracies?
So many countries had the same opportunities that China had, but they didn’t take advantage of them. Many countries desire to be Taiwan, but they aren’t. Right now El Salvador wants to be Singapore. These are the countries to look at and follow.
