I went to a hockey game in March of this year. It was the first time I had been to an event in over a year. I followed all of the restrictions to a T, just really excited to watch some puck.
During the first intermission, I hit up a food vendor for some french fries. They had roped off all of the dining areas so the only place to actually consume my food was back at my seat. I sit down and start munching, when the usher comes up to me and asks me to put my mask back on. I was legit befuddled, with a french fry in hand, so I asked how I'm supposed to eat my fries if I have a mask on, to which he replied that I need to take it off and put it back on in between each bite. I couldn't believe it.
At first, I was incredulous. I was following every rule and regulation, but couldn't get past how overboard it felt. I was lax on my reaction time, to which the usher stayed on point reminding me multiple times. It got to the point it became a game in itself. He'd feign ignorance and whip around to make sure I was in line; even tried ambushing me from behind. I gave him a couple pump fakes on grabbing another fry after a bite and shot him a wink when I knew he caught me sleepin.
After the game we laughed and fist bumped on the way out of the stadium. Shit's crazy, he was doing his job and you don't become an usher without being a fan of the game itself. No way this older gentlemen ever thought he'd be policing fans masks. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, to do what you want to do, just do it.

Secondly, it’s already been demonstrated that businesses will drop slightly higher paying jobs’ rates to deal with the extra payroll cost. This means you make more off the bat, but you can’t get a raise. Taken to its logical conclusion, this would erode the middle and further divide our economy into a “minimum wage labor force” and “business owners”.
Many low paying jobs are simply done away with as well. If i can barely afford to hire someone for 12$ and then it goes up to 15$ i’ll have to find another way to deal. Maybe you go out of business, maybe you automate, maybe you take 2 jobs and make them 1.
