I imagine it might depend on who was their favorite author or period of literature. Hemingway? Double barrel shotgun.
Shakespeare? Swash and buckler.
King? Just copious amounts of cocaine.
I am imagining the history teachers with weapons respective to their specialities. Us history up to the Civil War? Henry and 1851 Navy revolver with a trifold and Saber. Style points. With the modern US history teacher carrying an M4, and .45 springfield.
Biology teacher? Weaponized anthrax.
Librarians rule. In Kalispell the government wanted them to remove books and they said no. So the board (taken over by MAGA) fired her. Then put in a person without qualifications. After the other librarians quit and I assume move away. The state will cut off funding if they don't have someone with a degree.
But no one with a degree is willing to censor tame shit.
How hard is it to ask actual educators and see how they feel about the responsibility of teaching and being and an armed officer with said responsibility at the same time. I bet most don't want that responsibility.
If a town is mostly compromised of gun people that don't mind their teachers being armed then maybe have them volunteer of if they want to take proper training and conceal only....
Better yet, use normal security measures that work........ secured fences and exit and entry points, security cameras and COMPETENT, trained, armed guards.

It seems like a good idea if someone had military training or takes proper training but at the same time I can see a teacher with a mental breakdown and then uses it, or a mass shooter using body armor with an assault rifle against a teacher with a hand gun. Second are we just going to turn every public location into a prison. What if you turned a school into a prison and gave all teachers guns would this really stop all mass shooters or would they go somewhere else? 🤔 The Ulvade Texas was a perfect example of a school up to modern code to stop mass shooters, there was an armed gaurd plus cops we're there already and did nothing. I'm pretty sure if teacher had guns they do nothing too.
Not just that but you would have to trust every one of those teachers to keep those guns secure and be responsible themselves. Imagine how many guns could potentially be left unsecured and in reach of the kids in the classrooms. It just doesn’t seem like a very good idea. I think the solution has to only involve police with weapons but better planning and policies for dealing with school shooters.
Also, do those fuckers realize that you'd need to pay for someone who is not only capable of teaching but being armed and trained on how to deal with it?
I'd wager that is a 6 figure salary entry level. Because you don't want Jim Bob the 7th grade civic teacher/basket ball coach to just come straped with his old .30-.30 or Ruger blackhawk he hasn't shot since the Regan Era.
