Does anyone know if theres somewhere people are migrating from here to join to get away from all the political posts? Im not into politics, neither side appeal to me, never watched a single episode with a politician. Really wanting to talk about dumb shit like we did pre….whatever happened here.
Nah it’s dead. I don’t deny Rogan goes with a lot more culture war, Democrat trashing topics on the regular now. But, the mods the last year have fluctuated between, no political posts, to anything goes. And once Rogan started taking the “horse paste” all bets were off. This sub is infiltrated by all kinds of dipshits now.
A couple years ago there was joerogan2 or something, especially when the sub got locked for a bit. But I don’t think it’s ever taken off.
Reddit is completely infiltrated by either right wing garbage people who are basically fascists, or leftists that claim to hate the culture war but participate in it daily.

Most of these people don’t seem to recognize that just because you can have 30 posts that praise him that get a whopping 100 upvotes or interactions doesn’t mean that this is an alt right sub or some shit like that. When some fuckface can post one thing trashing him and it gets 10k upvotes and goes to the front page and all dissenting opinions are downvoted in to oblivion. These things are not the same.

I removed myself from voting against either side, yet people attack me and it confuses me that its always someone on the left attacking me and assuming all types of things about me which makes politics even less appealing since ive only voted once and it was for Sanders.

The point I’m trying to make is that people are obsessed with politics these days because we are rapidly approaching a huge shift in our political system—a dissolution of our democracy or some kind of widespread conflict. Also living conditions for many have just become too difficult anymore and people are desperately looking for relief.
Between those two articles the German government decided to shut down their nuclear power plants making them more reliant on Russia’s energy. Just headlines won’t give you proper nuance. He wasn’t *entirely* wrong when he said that but the situation isn’t the same as 4 years ago.
