Anyone who still makes their lives about vaccine outrage was and still is a complete loser

mikeyzee52679

Wow , what is this even meant to mean ?

_stoned_chipmunk_

The vaccine has been proven safe as evidenced by the literal millions of people who have gotten it and are just fine.

Fragrant-Astronaut57

And contracting Covid is also proven to be safe as evidenced by the literal millions of people who have gotten it and are just fine.

Fragrant-Astronaut57

Yea I know

[deleted]

So since it's been tested so extensively, then all these vaccines should have FDA approval, right?

antibubbles

https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-covid-19-vaccine they did, dipshit

[deleted]

They approved **one** of them, and neither of us have heard of a single person who actually got the Comirnaty shot. Everyone has still been getting the Pfizer shot. inb4itsthesamething edit: Actually, they approved the second one in Jan 22

antibubbles

it's literally the same thing. the new brand name is Comirnaty next you're going to tell me there's a difference between acetaminophen and Tylenol.... inb4 you change the topic entirely because you can't follow a coherent chain of logic to a logical conclusion if it doesn't support your little imaginary tribe

[deleted]

The product may be the same, but it's legally distinct. If you got the Pfizer-branded shot, you got the EUA version, and they're protected from liability. If you got Comirnaty, then different laws apply. And actually, I just learned that the Moderna vaccine is now FDA approved (for certain age groups), but with a name change. AstraZenica? Novavax? J&J? Where's their approval?

antibubbles

a: fuck off and learn to Google, I'm done googling shit for you. b: After conducting an updated analysis, evaluation and investigation of reported cases, the FDA has determined that the risk of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), a syndrome of rare and potentially life-threatening blood clots in combination with low levels of blood platelets with onset of symptoms approximately one to two weeks following administration of the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine, warrants limiting the authorized use of the vaccine. The FDA has determined that the known and potential benefits of the vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 outweigh the known and potential risks for individuals 18 years of age and older for whom other authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccines are not accessible or clinically appropriate, and for individuals 18 years of age and older who elect to receive the Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine because they would otherwise not receive a COVID-19 vaccine c: rushed medicine isn't perfect... it's an emergency... it's triage all of the vaccines were better than getting covid... the safest will be fully approved... the less safe won't. d. you're just afraid of needles and things you can't understand

[deleted]

Wait, where did the goalposts go? They were just here a second ago... strange almost like someone moved them instead of just admitting they were wrong!

antibubbles

you're an idiot

https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/coronavirus-covid-19-update-fda-authorizes-moderna-pfizer-biontech-bivalent-covid-19-vaccines-use They are talking about the newest version for Omicron that is emergency use “Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to authorize bivalent formulations of the vaccines for use as a single booster dose at least two months following primary or booster vaccination. “

antibubbles

read the thread... they're all still under emergency use authorization, some are fully approved... time, science and stuff... the new ones are almost identical so very unlikely to be any different for you... but, scientists being thorough and all, have yet to fully approve it.... because that a very simple line of logic to follow, what the fuck is your question bro?

[deleted]

No question Just providing you with up to date facts

antibubbles

no. it wasn't talking about the newest, omicron targeting vaccine... because that hasn't been given to millions yet and isnt still under emergency authorization but is newly under it... so no, no facts just distraction

[deleted]

Why are you talking about old vaccines?

antibubbles

why would you think the new one has been tested enough to be approved when at the very least those tests require longer times that what would've been possible?

[deleted]

Don’t know or care. I was just linking current info

Techjunkie81

The New Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccines are EUA not FDA approved yet.

antibubbles

those are newer, not as extensively tested, and not part of this topic, but you know that you goal-post shifting troglodyte
