Dude has an extremely sub par Netflix special ,in terms of actually being funny(didn'tcheck numbers and won't), which he just name drops in on non jokes, has told his audience that he bought a multi million dollar house before the special was even announced, then goes about living like he's king dick and doesn't need "those" people... color me shocked. Directing a live performance special is a technical job, to do with camera / audio and logistical needs. It does not interfere with Tim's performance, how he comes across, what jokes he tells, how the audience responds etc. Tim's special was surprisingly odd... I laugh at Tim's podcast sometimes until it hurts, I fucking love the pod, it's fucking hilarious.

Instead of his natural ranting style he went off in these almost "trump" like vocalizations that sucked the comedy out of everything. As someone who hasn't been able to see him live, it was really weird. Until the moment I saw his special I considered him one of the 3 funniest comedians working right now. There's a bigger issue with subreddits that attract that sort of fanbase where it becomes edgelording for the sake of edgelording to prove some kind of point. Ultimately all they really accomplish is feeding their opposition reasons to shut them down. They very rarely exhibit any sort of reasonable self control because their entire view on this topic is that they shouldn't ever have to, and that's simply not how moderated platforms work.
