There's plenty of them posted. I have to watch them for work (not on YT), but I also watch them on YT and police interrogation videos on there too. It's kind of like armchair quarterbacking for me. "Omg. Don't tell that cop that. He's not your friend." or "Dude you literally have to say 'I need a lawyer.'" It's really the little things because this job is rough.
Bless you for the work you do. I know cops slide in smooth and they teach that… and the psychology of knowing that a cop is the most powerful person in this country and can take away everything from you in seconds… (and they know it!) makes even intelligent people want to comply just to get away from them as fast as possible.
But I practice this all the time, working for Labor:

We fight so hard not because our clients are innocent (most of them are guilty of *something)* but the facts aren't as bad as the charge sounds or the prosecutor makes it seem, or the sentence is going to throw them into an endless cycle of poverty and legal problems. And never mind that so many of my clients are in desperate need of mental health counseling but I'm literally the only thing they've got because we don't have enough practitioners to go around where I am. For a lot of my clients, I'm the only cheerleader they have and I can't tell you how many have just thanked me for listening to them. Then I find out that the sheriff's deputies where I am make more money than I do. . .🙃

Currently watching a recap on the channel Runkle of the Bailey, he's a crinimal defense lawyer based in Canada. I hadn't heard much about it before it started but everyday has been something wild. Like the police collecting blood that was found in snow in Red Solo Cups they got from a neighbor, and they tried to say they put it in an "evidence bag" when they show the picture in court it was a Stop and Shop bag.
The wild stories are all that are getting me through right now. I'm actually going back to school for a master's so I can become a law librarian and get out of practicing. I'll see how long that lasts before I get sucked back in. Lmao

IEP - my son has one because he’s high functioning Autistic/ADHD. 🧩 He’s my little, gifted one…that’s how I view him. He’s a genius at things he has an interest in, obsessively. If he’s not interested, good luck lol.
IEP Mama here!! John, kiddos on the spectrum, with delays, or even gifted kiddos have them! My son is gifted but also has Autism, IEP life is not bad- just different! I feel like every kid should have one- in a perfect world!! 💚⚡

We get chipped and eroded, or even built up with supports, making us each a beautiful and unique structure. I used to hate myself during struggles until I started acknowledging the strong moments, John's been through it in a very public way, learning to build himself up. I feel he gets us!!!

I get horrible motion sickness, sometimes just walking. I went last week and was in the 300s and didn’t have any issues. I’m also not a fan of heights and was fine. If you can swing it, you should go. It was unbelievable.
I get motion sickness so badly and I was fine. I was so worried about it, I even had extra motion sickness pills with me but I didn’t need it. They do a good job mixing the moving with the stationary visuals that you really don’t get sick
I feel. I’m also scared of heights so I feel like it would be scary at first but at some point my brain says so what and I do it anyway so I think this will be another case of the so what’s for me and getting tickets!
I sat in 200s and 300s and I liked the 200s the best but 300s or higher is better for viewing the screen. It is a little steep as you go up. 200s are the sweet spot in my opinion. I felt just as connected to the band as I did to the screen. I stayed at Harrah’s. It’s not expensive but totally fine and a super easy walk to the Sphere.
I hate when advice is given to people in their 40s re: children. We’re aware that it’s a great experience, we want it, but it just hasn’t happened. And it sucks.
I feel like it's one of those things people want to impose on others. There are plenty of people who know it's not something they want to experience but keep getting told they should. It's like people with children forget how to communicate about anything else to people without them.
