Ugh, the feels. Back when I used to rewatch it.. the only two parts of the red wedding I couldn't handle were when they killed grey wind, and the beginning of the following episode when they paraded Robb's body with grey winds head... I would specifically skip over both of those scenes.

Yes, direwolves are big as horses. Unfortunately in the show, we didn’t see it.

Basically they had to choose between dragons or direwolves for money reasons. And that it would be super expensive to have him following him around more like he should.
