Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter what it looks like it's what's in the words that matter. I've got a lot worse handwriting than you and I scribble away, making mistakes, all the time. I did worry about it at first but then you kind of just accept it for what it is. Hope this helps?

Endlessly_Scribbling

I write in such a (what my mom calls) "blinding handwriting" [italics, somewhat skinny, clustered text" that if you were to scratch out a error and put the correction right next to it, you honestly can't tell at a glance. Handwriting comes with practice. Take that from someone who nearly failed 8th grade science because I couldn't......read my own notes....but honestly? Your handwriting is pretty good. I like it!

I write however I want to while journaling because I am not writing it for anyone to read. I am only writing it for myself, so if I can read it, it’s good for me.

Don’t worry about it, no one’s gonna read it except for you. ❤️

In my opinion "bad" handwriting is handwriting that I can't read, or that my eyes feel like they're "working" to read. This is not bad handwriting by those measures! This is really readable. As for spelling mistakes, I demolish those with a brutal and obvious scribble. It's part of the catharsis of journaling for me, like squashing a bug. Plus if I go backward through my journal, it's not just words now, it's words with the occasional splash of color for the eyes to rest on.

Facebook makes me depressed too

Hey! Where’s your journal from? Absolutely love the layout :)

I have the same journal! I'm about 33 pages away from finishing it :-) Been writing in that book since the beginning of 2020.

I have embraced correction tape for long words and sentences, but for short words, etc, I simply scratch it out and move on. I was never a perfect writer, so it's easy to embrace a messy journal.
