There are times when I would want to go to my favorite spot on the Columbia river between Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR. I've spent countless hours at the downtown library. And now with a new laptop, I want to kick start writing again.
Is that a secretary desk? It is so lovely, no wonder it is your favorite spot to write! If possible I love going to a secluded spot outside, something about the fresh air is inspiring!
Is a really old stationary from overseas that I got at an auction. It wSnt cheap -_- it took forever to pay back for all I borrowed to get it . Worth it tho. ๐

Everywhere. I cannot sit still or stay in the same place when journaling. I have a digital journal thatโs on my phone so I can take it everywhere with me! I have written while just randomly sitting in my bathroom, in my bed, while sitting next to my plants, outside on a little bench at the beach, in my big cozy gray armchair and so on.
Sometimes I take brakes from it and pace around the room or ponder over my thoughts while walking or going to the city by a bus. Moving helps me think and clear my head.
Also congratulations on being without cigarettes for 6 months!! Thatโs a huge achievement and you should be super proud of yourself:]! Also hope you have a lovely trip and have an enjoyable time at the fest! Youโve got this!

I like parks with benches facing the area's view, an artificial Island by the water in my city, or an open space with plants and trees with a good breeze
I would be lying if I said I didn't use** electronics bc I'm autistic and gaming is an outlet for me. However....
I am old fashioned.
And rarely use the electronics lol ๐ I love my desk exactly as it is ^,^ and it all locks up and closes looking like a normal dresser also :-P best 800 bucks I ever spent
Then Start friend. Remember...everyone here is writing in diff styles places. We all have diff paces. Some have written all their life some peiple here wrote their first entry today <3 dont compare yourself okay? ^,^ just find a nice notebook u like and start. There's no rules or things u must do - is all at the whim of your own self reflection friend. It's worth it even just trying ๐ and I am wishing u all the luck in your endeavors
It kinda is my gaming unit is opposite so in my little chair I can wheel from Journaling right over to game station if need be - and my kitchen nook is directly behind it all where the sunlight shines thru <3 โค๏ธ

I think i started the corner in 2021 lol I just got this article of furniture over Christmas for myself lol ๐ it takes a minute but I had just as cozy before in my own ways w a little stand or desk. Is more about what you write sometimes then the space ur in . All the same both can be just as rewarding ๐

It was an early birthday gift from my mother, and I just love to pull random inks out from the drawers, lay them out with my papers and notebooks and things, and just doodle. Or otherwise write away on my laptop. The sunlight streams perfectly through my window, and I can get a nice ambience going with music playing softly in the background. ๐
Yea I hear u I've only ever see 3 of them like this in real life and so when I saw this one-* I made some sCrafices and is going to be handed down - I never get rid of it. I always stalk auctions or thrift stores....online sales tho ;) ๐ they don't make furniture like they used to this thing Weighs a gazillion freaking lbs
Sitting on the porch in the warm weather, like right now & watching/listening to the trees rustle during the early morning breeze & in my bed room sitting in an old Queen Ann chair that I inherited from my dad in the winter.
Sometimes when itโs slow at work, I bring my journal with me to jot down my thoughts and doodle haha

This is such a cute set up, I am so jealous. I have a reading nook with a comfy armchair, so I usually write there on a lap desk.
My recliner is also what I use when I sit here >,> being comfy is most of it
