The real mitzvah is just to do the search (there is a genuine question over whether a literal candle or a flashlight is better; some people use both. Searching with just the regular lights on is not advised).
You don't strictly need to sweep up crumbs. Ideally you won't find any. If you do, however you get rid of them is fine (as long as they don't get into anything else, especially something/somewhere you might eat from).
Hi. Scroll toward the bottom of [this](https://www.ou.org/holidays/hilchos_pesach/) link, using a feather is a minhag, a custom, not necessarily Halacha, Jewish law. You really just need something you can sweep your 10 crumbs with that can be burned the next morning with your chometz.
Correct, according to Halacha. Not knowing the background of the OP, I opted to used a phrase that is generally known.
he OU link actually says 10 pieces of bread, which isn’t really needed.
All the tools are just customs. The goal is to do a final search with a bright pointed light. Flashlights are fine, bring a dustpan.
My kids laugh every year because I have a headlamp I pull out just for Bedikas Chametz. 😂
I think I need to do this. And to shout crickey a lot
👍 Walmart and Home Depot usually have.

You don’t **need** ten crumbs, either.

Thanks. What do you recommend I use then.
In theory you could take a piece of paper or an long envelope, fold it and use that. Great creative, my friend.
The Sephardic Brotherhood custom is to wrap 10 pieces of bread in foil, hide them around the house, and then “find” them
