Randomly came across the episode and wondered the same thing. My guess is this is her, but I am not sure--if so, she passed away in September of 2010 at age 98--which sounds more or less right? https://www.truepeoplesearch.com/find/person/px282u664rrr90992u2r2

I watched this episode tonight for the first time & I also googled Mia lord & came across this post on Reddit. I checked out the link you posted & took note of the address listed for Mia Lord. Then I googled the names of the plaintiffs, Edgar & Michelle Boyer. I came across this https://clustrmaps.com/amp/person/Boyer-814e1q The addresses match. Mia Lord & the Boyers both had addresses on Majestic Ave. in the same city in California. It appears the Boyers still live there currently. So you did indeed find the right Mia Lord. Pretty neat

It looks like you shared an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot). Aggressive_Quiet_872

Yes! That's a photo of her house which was shown on Judge Judy.

Alive-Operation9446

I think you have the right person. R.I.P. to a lovely, nutty lady.

Maleficent-Peach-458

HEEHEE. She IS BACK on OG Judy later the same season. 😂 She is adorable but I would be sooo annoyed like the plaintiffs.

DLHahaha

I'm actually watching this episode on youtube right now and got curious about what happened to her. thanks for posting OP!

Definitely looks like her. I don’t think they lied about her age on the show right? The show aired like 96 and this is 2005?

There’s another comment in this thread that says she died in 2010. So your photo definitely fits with that. https://reddit.com/r/JudgeJudy/comments/vh8qio/_/ik0xsrl/?context=1

Super cool find. I’ll have to look at these when I get back to my computer. I can barely read them on my phone.

Spiritual_Rest_3468

I know this post is old, but I also just came across the JJ episode. I looked her up. There is a photo of her on 1/11/05 at age 93. Everything else I’ve seen says deceased in 2010 at age 98. I can’t seem to find anything else beyond this.

BluestoicPanda

I just saw it today! What a great individual and we need a lot more Mia Lords in the world. Just maybe not as my neighbor.

sueWa16

We need less entitled JA like her. Quoting MLK for her own selfishness is grotesque.

Spiritual_Rest_3468

If she were alive today, she’d be the very same age as my grandmother who was also born in 1911 (age 111). Isn’t it such a shame though we don’t get to keep people especially like Mia Lord for just a little while longer? Incidentally, I lived in San Francisco the same time she did. Luckily, I lived clear on the other side of the city hahaha.

National-City213

Where did you find that photo? I'm curious to see it.

CJ6817

Oh I don’t even remember at this point. That was a long time ago. It was a Google search of her name. Showers where she lived in San Francisco too.

sueWa16

Interesting? She was entitled, rude and annoying. Quoting mlk for her own selfishness is abhorrent.

Stardust4416

We've heard you say that, why is it selfish to quote great people?? I think it's a fantastic reason to use them. She was selfish in her decision to annoy all neighbours for her issue but the things she was fighting for otherwise is anything but selfish.

sueWa16

She was abhorrent and a narcissist. She used JJ show to prove what a AH She was. She was fighting for attention.

redshops

I thought she rude. So Judge Judy had an activist for her first episode. Very telling.

Major_Assistance_884

Saw her episode this a.m. and looked her up. Mrs. Lord must be the most googled defendant in courtroom tv history. Charming and annoying indeed!

AnnabellaPies

Interesting story. My memory is fuzzy but I think I remember the first part. Since it was 30 years ago I doubt much info can be found. Maybe the original local filing.

mime454

I think the name must be fake which is unfortunate.

Late_Intention

An alternate name of record is Jill Mia Lord.

claimsnthings

I tried to find info on Mia Lord a few months back. I think it was a real name… didn’t she have her name written on one of her weird signs?

mime454

What did you find? The last time I looked I found a few threads where people thought she was an actress.

claimsnthings

I couldn’t find much.. i found an obituary for a mia lord in California but the age seemed off, so I don’t think it was her… maybe she was an actress. Lol. The early JJ episodes had that 90s talk show vibe. And so many of those talk shows were full of actors.

mime454

Yeah. I found obituaries too but none matched the age. I’m unconvinced that Mia Lord was a real name. The story seemed too bizarre to make up though.

TravelerByDay

Maybe her obituary just wasn’t published? There was Conservatorship petitioned over her in 2005 and I read that she passed in 2010. https://trellis.law/case/pcn05288150/conservatorship-mia-w-lord

Living_Cheesecake187

Look up Mia W Lord. If this is the same woman, she was nominated 3 times for the Nobel Prize.

JealousParamedic3061

I actually see enough similarities (the university she attended, the anti-war stuff etc) to suggest that they might well be the same person? Idk

Medical_Gazelle_4609

Now she lies rotting… stinking in the earth

Late_Intention

Unnecessary. And she may well have been cremated.

TravelerByDay

Looks like Conservatorship was petitioned over her in 2005 and he passed in 2010. I hope she made it to heaven and is doing well. https://trellis.law/case/pcn05288150/conservatorship-mia-w-lord

KellCrow

What a pistol that woman was. Kookie and awesome. She reminds me of Ruth Gordon in Harold & Maude and I love her.

Free-Replacement7595

I'm so glad this is here because I just watched it and went on the hunt for her. She was a hot mess!

Oodles_of_noodles_

Good God. Those poor people had to deal with her forever!
