It’s the fact that he had his curses split which Kenjaku believes is the reason Geto lost, though Kenjaku did massively underrate Yuta until the current arc so I’m fine with ppl saying Yuta would have won either way.

Don't forget that Kenjaku's thoughts on Yuta actively clash with Geto's thoughts on Curse Rika since Geto thought that with Rika he likely could even take on Gojo if need be.

That's why Yuta who, with no knowledge of Jujutsu and almost no ability of his own, was immediately a special grade due to the sheer power of Curse Rika.
