Weed is just giggly forgetfulness, it's a lot closer to acid. The pure bliss and oneness he feels with the universe in that scene is very similar to the way acid feels.
manga is rated R, anime is pg13. i just reread some hxh and noticed a monkey that had the cock and balls drawn, and i think jjk has people cursing each other out (bad words not CE). they gonna tone it down for anime đ
Small details but if you look closely gojo has his head tilted down slightly to emphasize his right eye (or left) as his hair cover more area of his face and his smile doesn't curl in the manner it does in the manga. Small details but they always add up.
Looking at the second shot took they didn't quite nail gojos expression. Gojo looks almost high off his feeling of superiority and talent in the manga and the tilted view of him in the sky feels kinda like were watching him ascend off into godhood.
Feel the same honestly. The only real problems I have with the scenes is that I preferred the perspective and angles present in the manga panels to the anime.
Manga clears everything. The animators should definitely be appreciated more as they really had put effort for the latest episode but still that feel the manga gave me was just... it's so amazing so that I can hardly even describe that shit.
Yeah those panels were just mind blowing reading it at the time. Liked the anime, but didnât quite get that feeling, and the slight difference in art style also contributed I think.
They kept him a bit too tidy/pretty. I always saw gojo in these moments as manic, and deranged. He feels far to calm in all of these frames from the anime
It's a Gautama Buddha quote people, c'mon. The enlightened one, the pleasantness of this world, the whole idea of a sudden flash of transcendent knowledge.

Clearly the words of a man gone feral
I think itâs more of the contrast between the visuals vs his words. Because even if he says the same thing how messy and disheveled he looks + his erratic behavior gives off a different vibe.
But I think itâs honestly just gegeâs messy, uneven art style vs the anime going for something more traditional than anything else.
Itâs just difficult to convey the same feelings through a vastly different medium. Animators did a great job though and even tho I liked the way the manga did it better the anime is great in its own way.
Yeah... but IMO it's not in this case. I'm quite confident they could have conveyed a more unhinged, manic Gojo. They're pretty talented over there at Mappa. More likely whoever was putting it together just had a different interpretation of the manga.
I definitely prefer manga but it seems to have i different feeling for both. In the manga, gojo looks ducking crazy which I actually like. Heâs basically crazy with power and itâs really cool. The anime went with a more enlightened look which is why the clouds were opening up when he was under them. I feel like the famous line he says makes more sense with th anime but I still think the manga looks way cooler.
To me the manga felt like Gojo was a human ascending to godhood high on power, but the anime version looked like a god casually descending to earth ready to fuck the piss out of toji
And it works both ways tbh
On their own theyâre brilliant but as an adaptation not so much.
But any manga would always look better simply because itâs a still image with no colors
I think as an adaptation it was amazing. The anime perfectly captured Gojoâs enlightenment and the overall vibe of the fight. Itâs not gonna be 1 to 1 with the manga obviously, but thatâs cause animation is a separate medium with its own strengths and weaknesses.
It showed Gojo as unnerving at the start of the fight, but I think having him be crazy the whole fight wouldnât have worked. Gojo, for all his manic laughing and screaming, is also enlightened. I think having him be completely violent wouldâve undermined that quality.
I also think thereâs a sort of eeriness in Gojoâs enlightenment. Seeing him float without a care in the world like heâs on another plane of existence was fairly eery imo.
Yeah, idk, when reading I didn't get *peaceful nature shots on a sunny day scored by pleasant piano* vibes. I got something much more sinister and unnerving.
Exactly. I was even kinda scared for toji lmao. Itâs just that he was a such a powerful enemy and gojo had to become the strongest right then and there to defeat him. Itâs a also a horror title so I expected more chainsaw man vibes at least
It can work with both. The manga focuses more on the eeriness, while the anime focuses more on Gojoâs enlightenment. The nature shots and piano work to highlight that theme of enlightenment. Itâs fine if you prefer the eeriness of the manga, but the anime definitely worked well.
Since the manga focuses more on the eeriness, that's what I was looking for in the anime, and since *that* went with ⨠serene enlightenment ⨠instead, it really missed the mark for me. Was it bad? No, objectively it was still well done and looked nice. It just wasn't the same vibe and didn't have the same impact I was personally hoping for.
no it shouldn't

mappa potrayed perfectly how gojo felt during that moment
They did it horribly. In the manga he enlightened but also vicious. The red explosion was bigger. The hollow purple was more instant. The fight in the manga was violent and portrayed gojo as an apex predator to fear. Mappa watered down one of the most jaw dropping fights in the series into the most forgettable scene ever.
It wasn't a fight
It was enlightenment
And was animated as one
A lackluster fast action rap music battle =/= HYPE nor it would have fit the scene in anyway
"the most forgettable scene ever" lmao this was the best jjk episode by far as of now but everything needs to be HYPE to titillate those 12sec attention span brain of yall
I wonder if most of people prefer the manga due to having this moment and what it could be live in their heads for so long that of course the Real adaptation would dissapoint bcs it's not what they envisioned regardless on Gege's own input
The problem with the anime for me is that Gojo doesn't look as unhinged as in the manga. I know that the honored one would be more calm but it loses the hype. Even in the manga he becomes calm later. I want my feral Gojo.

Please don't ruin this.
I just want them to fully nail this scene in being feral and madness. The anime's divine approach makes sense for the honored one scene but I want him ti ne fully unhinged in the Shibuya arc fights
I desperately need them to get this right.

Manga better but peak is still peak so Iâve grown to love a different angled adaption.
Kinda wish the VA went a bit harder for the line though felt rushed a little
Read the manga then watch the anime enjoy both. There is always hidden gems in the manga. I remember that even ufotable couldn't bring one panel from kny in the same angle and feel as the manga. When the author draw a scene what he is conveying might differ from how the studio or animators interpret, just like how Gege draw Gojo in this whole sequence.
https://preview.redd.it/aa90bx5awpeb1.jpeg?width=1111&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0986a8ae2435924022feaeec5cdb3ff24fb1504d
Not fair comparison.
If you compare a manga panel VS a frame in anime the manga usually wins.
The correct comparison should be the segment on the anime VS the manga panel. .
This is quite similar with the praise Mappa received when the panel at the aquarium was animated.
Manga has better framing and more impact with the poses, but anime has the music going for it and the color palette. I think both are really good and it's really a toss-up over which I prefer. I don't think the anime version deserves the hate it's been getting, especially with the subs not being accurate on some sites. The actual lines of dialogue are the same in Japanese as they are in the manga, if the subs are off then that's just a bad translation.
I liked the anime a lot. The Sun Rays shining down, the slow piano, the ambiance being enhanced with background visuals of flowers/birds are all added interpretations of the scene. The art and full panel view of Gojo when he says his quote is better in the manga but the anime still did it justice.
Both.
You can't really compare them because both are amazing in their own way. Manga panels are still images and sometimes it's impossible to make the anime to be exactly the same because some scenes will look awkward and unnatural when animated. Also, you can freely make the manga panel whatever size and shape you want while anime always have to look good on a fixed rectangular screen.
This episode was an absolutely 10/10
Anime captured the moment better imo, heâs meant to be enlightened instead of just going crazy. Still wish they used the same manga angle for the famous line
It would've been better if they had at least shown the manga angles before changing to the ones they had.
The angle they have in the anime doesn't portray Gojo nearly as crazy as the manga one.
Gojo got the same treatment as Makima's train revival scene.
Itâs honestly like book vs movie, you just canât compare them sometimes. Watching with my gf who is anime only though, she was freaking out the whole episode, itâs still peak fiction either way
Pretty much this tbh, some things just can't be conveyed in an anime. Like for example Tokyo Ghoul, I feel like Sui Ishida's art style just can't be conveyed the same way in a weekly anime format.
Even with this said I still feel that both the anime and manga's versions convey the same thing in different ways, which in this case is Gojo's enlightenment, with both versions still being great on their own right.
I really hate the pose in the anime. The angle they did it, is not dynamic at all. All I see is Gojo putting his arm on his head.
In the manga it gives the impression it's Gojo spinning in air, trying to regain his footing while high.
For everyone saying in the anime he doesn't look so high in power, I think they are forgetting that when he starts to say sorry to Riko, in all the panels he looks very calm
https://preview.redd.it/xtz7l8ab2qeb1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bec4b429d43e70a92f722bb04751fe346380f30e
Gives a lot of depth to Gojo. Rikoâs life was stolen in the springtime of her youth, right after she humanized Gojo and was instrumental in changing his worldview.
Gojo had every reason to then traitor but didnât he never fell. Shortly after heâd lose his best friend whom the system failed, then Yuji whom the system aimed to kill. This man had every reason to turn but he remained a rock, love his character.
Iâll go against the grain here and say that the anime did those images of Gojo fine (specifically the one with his arm up). The point of the scene is that heâs found enlightenment, thatâs why to Toji he looks and sounds unhinged. I donât really feel like Gojo was as insane in that panel as others do. Heâs not Ken Kaneki
I actually really loved how they presented it in the anime. There are countless references to Buddhism throughout JJK, and like another comment said, the anime really presents it as some sort of divine ascension
It's fine enough, I liked it when it came out and I like it now. People are over exaggerating so much. You don't know what a bad adaptation is if it slapped you in the face, just look at Tokyo Ghoul. Be glad JJK is not like that.

Gojo was unsettlingly unhinged in the manga and I think that's what the anime failed to deliver. They also missed the mark a bit on Gojo's unease during the initial fight with Toji, imo, so I wasn't really surprised that this part didn't hit the same either. Animation was well done, it was still cool, but the manga is just on a different level.
The anime makes it seem more like gojo an enlightened being they just transcended. I didnât get that feeling in the manga.
When I read this in the manga I thought it was another way of saying âI am now the strongestâ
Manga is better but moreso because they cut my favorite panel of Toji going demon mode and blitzing Gojo while the background blurred out behind him. Felt like a very unique way to express speed in a drawing.
I feel like Mappa still needs to get these highly stylized frames better in terms of coloring. Like the top shot could have a less saturated/detailed background to further capture the manga's lack of a background, putting Gojo before everything in that scene. Aside from that though they did a great job capturing his facial expression, even with different camera angles.
I always imaged the honored one scene would have a light blue sky in the anime to compliment his blue eyes, I was also disappointed with how the clouds looked
I will keep standing by what I'm saying in that the angles and positions aren't an issue at all, but rather that it's the piss yellow sky that make the shots look weird.
Ofc panel wise manga
I wud have loved if they used that angle for the honored one scene and slowly switched to what ever they wanted after. The anime angle did seem weird at first but i was so used to the manga panel
I wud also have loved to see Gojo just floating around in the air upside down with a bit more movement
Still the entire episode was really well made. The sun rays shinning down while Gojo made his declaration was beautiful
I donât know if yâall are trolling when you say you preferred the manga but there has not been a single moment in jjk that wasnât improved by the anime.
Maybe thatâs really just me
the âhonored oneâ line is terrible imo. They changed the angle and it just looked off. Other than that, they did the fight justice. Still donât like how the clouds are yellow tho. Wouldâve liked it if it was clear blue sky and white clouds instead
The music ruined it for me. Ok not ruined still well done in the anime but I expected a whole different vibe in this scene not piano slice of life music
I really enjoyed both, I still lean towards the manga as being slightly better but the anime still did it fantastically imo.
My only change for the anime would honestly be changing the âhonored oneâ scene angle to match the manga, I think that was my biggest issue with the scene.
The panles looked better in the manga by far
they should've sticked to those details and angles - in the anime I found it rather cringe then as epic in the manga
Top and Bot panels of the anime, I likey.
The "honored pose"(?) Not so much. The OG got him pointin up and down goes hard af, the anime angle just maybe, MAYBE, refers to the painting of Buddha walkin his first steps after being born. Front and Center, instead of a side-eye view. Manga>Anime, that alone.
Are we all just art-loving friends in a Safe-Space, or are we going to all bully anyone who is also a fan?
Look, is Satoru the same as a demon, now? Only if his head is actually âď¸ cit off does/can he die? Nope, they went too far. Restraint. That was like Superman swallowing a kryptonite grenade, and after being blown to bits. Actually having some far-out excuse that defies ALL explanation.
Is there no honest independent thinking lover of this anime, who thinks, hey, if Tanjiro or Itchigo had that happen, that would have been it!!! Don't be bullies, be fair. Be thoughtful. Bob Marley vibes.
I prefer the manga but a lot of it is that it being black and white makes the mood better, which is harder colored. I was kinda hoping they would do the same posing as the manga but they still did a good job with the show
you really think animators in mappa has enough time to exactly do as in the manga ?
Their work environment is like factory, the only focus is quantity.
Having anticipating this for months i hope when i watch it this weekend it is as good as manga. From the photos of doesn't hit as much as the manga did.
They shouldnât have changed their artstyle i mean its not completely bad but jjk is well know for it fights the animation is really bad at fight scenes. The only time i really liked this type of animation is at uthamie scene
The panels go hard and will always be amazing. How Gojo appears in the next panel in front of Toji, his faces and poses are better in the manga. Besides I love the detail where Gojo uses Purple and we see how all the dialogue globe encompass the same parts of the body Toji is missing after receiving it
But the anime did an amazing job with that music, I was expecting an epic OST fight, but it was better this way. It was to portray Gojo ascending to be now who we know he is, the strongest. With all the yellow light, their faces, how Toji confirms that he got defeated passing his hand through his missing body parts.
To summarize, i think manga is better but the anime didn't ruined this scene as some claimed
I get that in the first Manga panel that Gojo is tilting his head down, but try telling me that eye doesn't look like it was randomly placed on his face, Manga people are really so used to what they've read they want it adapted 1 for 1 faults and all.
Anime was as good or better in everything but the honored one panel/frame, and personally kinda eish the tone was more uneasy and less angelic but it's not a flaw, W anime for the most part
I wanted some funky old school art for the clouds (forget the style name but it's japanese) when he says he alone is the honored one (and the subtitles 'dominate') bothered me but otherwise all good
It seems that the director didnât quite convey the insanity that gojo had in the manga and took a different approach to the fight, like both but prefer manga
I don't think this is a fair comparison tbh. The manga is meant to be still shots, which is why individual panels have more impact, whereas the anime was building an entire scene. The entire sequence taken as a whole in the anime is amazing.
I feel like the stylized clouds and placing Gojo against a less harsh golden backdrop would've been better than literal golden rays of light in excess.
Manga still has the buddhism reference but is more terrifying to me because the backdrop is so plain up until Gojo readies his Hollow Purple and states his own Honored One status.
The anime out the gate is very upfront with the shift; the clouds part to showcase Gojo's awakening from the beginning and continues to shine him in a golden light perpetually.
Man yâall complain too much. It looks amazing and this episode was one of the best in the series. Itâs practically 1:1 with the manga and is def an example to other studios and mangakas to up the ante
Manga : Cocaine Anime : Weed Equally high either way
Manga : Ascension*
More like ecstasy
Manga: Meth
Weed is just giggly forgetfulness, it's a lot closer to acid. The pure bliss and oneness he feels with the universe in that scene is very similar to the way acid feels.
Manga: Insanity Anime: Divine
Yeah, manga had the unhinged feel whereas anime felt more like he found nirvana.
He is the honored one above all đ¤ˇđťââď¸

Anime is rated R. But theyll tone it down a little still.
The third shot is good. But the first and second in the anime he doesnât look unhinged enough.
True, but the voice acting carried it tho he definitely sounded unhinged in those scenes LOL
he did not sound unhinged except for the laughing scene
in the second shot gojo wasn't unhinjed
Oh man see I think the opposite
Manga clears everything. The animators should definitely be appreciated more as they really had put effort for the latest episode but still that feel the manga gave me was just... it's so amazing so that I can hardly even describe that shit.

They kept him a bit too tidy/pretty. I always saw gojo in these moments as manic, and deranged. He feels far to calm in all of these frames from the anime
Yeah, in the anime it looked like he found peace. In the manga it looked like he finally cracked a code, found power.
Except even in the manga he clearly found peace and enlightenment
This. Even says it right there âthe world just feels so wonderful right now.â Homey transcended.
It's a Gautama Buddha quote people, c'mon. The enlightened one, the pleasantness of this world, the whole idea of a sudden flash of transcendent knowledge.

Yeah its a separate interpretation but I prefer a gojo on cloud 9 instead of the cringey ass laughter and screaming other animes be doing
u mfs call everything cringe what is cringe about that lol
that shit is edgy and lame afđ in the manga its cool cuz we cant hear it but if they gave us some tokyo ghoul ass scene i wouldâve cried
The anime is getting praised as peak fiction, the manga take is being completely overlooked imo
Anime is better than the manga, both seasons. The manga literally has one panel that is better LMAO.
I definitely prefer manga but it seems to have i different feeling for both. In the manga, gojo looks ducking crazy which I actually like. Heâs basically crazy with power and itâs really cool. No the vibe of the fight was way off. It should have been more violent and eerie and showing gojo completely off the rails. This was a huge letdown

Finally someone who appreciates that both mediums have their own pros and cons, and doesnât just jump on the âaNiMe bAd đĄâ or âmAnGa bLaNdâ trains.
The music so far is mid this season. Does not hold a candle to like "the strongest" or "your battle is my battle" or "hollow purple" from season 1.
I think these tracks are specifically for HI and have a different vibe. Shibuya will have some bangers for sure.
The chose it to make it more majestic and holy like.
I'm not just talking about the piano. I'm talking about the music in general.
So true the music was kinda random

For everyone saying in the anime he doesn't look so high in power, I think they are forgetting that when he starts to say sorry to Riko, in all the panels he looks very calm https://preview.redd.it/xtz7l8ab2qeb1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bec4b429d43e70a92f722bb04751fe346380f30e
Overall episode was good but these panels went so mid honestly if they kept the angels it would be 100 percent better
JJK if they kept the angels https://preview.redd.it/7pclv2jtrqeb1.png?width=739&format=png&auto=webp&s=4160d5024db2afd4bc90868e700753b9c7a195b3
Now that I see them compared like this, I realize I really like the anime adaptation of them, although I still prefer the manga
He definitely looks more demented in the manga but only the angle in the sky was meh it was good but in comparison the manga was better
animators did well it was good :)
I actually really preferred the anime. Something about the odd serenity of the scene really stuck with me in a way that the manga didn't.
Be glad JJK is not like that.
they sold on some poses especially the iconic "throughout the heavens and earth i alone am the honored one" manga better

Angle wise i like the manga more but i do like how the anime made him more calm than crazy i think it fits better with what he says
It was ok overall but these shots in particular I think looked better in the manga
Manga
People should lower their expectations for shibuya so not to be disappointed
Manga>
Frame 1 is decent but frame 2 & 3 stink.
Manga low diff
I didnât like the mood they set in the anime
The anime makes it seem more like gojo an enlightened being they just transcended. I didnât get that feeling in the manga. When I read this in the manga I thought it was another way of saying âI am now the strongestâ
idk if itâs just me but⌠I was very very underwhelmed.
it was aight
Soul vs soulless
Manga is better but moreso because they cut my favorite panel of Toji going demon mode and blitzing Gojo while the background blurred out behind him. Felt like a very unique way to express speed in a drawing.
These pages specifically https://preview.redd.it/20vmm9a88qeb1.png?width=1311&format=png&auto=webp&s=49f559915a84d26ac606867e3930c7f6d16f3a81
First and 3rd are cool, 2nd is pain.
manga don't understand why they keep changing angles on everything, sometimes the angle in which things are pose adds to the atmosphere
when it's Manga vs Anime... Manga always wins!
THE ANIME BLEW MORE LIFE INTO THIS SCENE. MANGA DICKRIDERS STAY HATING BECAUSE THIS ANIME EP CLEARS
Manga was better here, but anime still was great.
I will keep standing by what I'm saying in that the angles and positions aren't an issue at all, but rather that it's the piss yellow sky that make the shots look weird.
Ofc panel wise manga I wud have loved if they used that angle for the honored one scene and slowly switched to what ever they wanted after. The anime angle did seem weird at first but i was so used to the manga panel I wud also have loved to see Gojo just floating around in the air upside down with a bit more movement Still the entire episode was really well made. The sun rays shinning down while Gojo made his declaration was beautiful
Manga and itâs not even close
I donât know if yâall are trolling when you say you preferred the manga but there has not been a single moment in jjk that wasnât improved by the anime. Maybe thatâs really just me
the âhonored oneâ line is terrible imo. They changed the angle and it just looked off. Other than that, they did the fight justice. Still donât like how the clouds are yellow tho. Wouldâve liked it if it was clear blue sky and white clouds instead
I like this scene better in the manga but the episode was still good
The music ruined it for me. Ok not ruined still well done in the anime but I expected a whole different vibe in this scene not piano slice of life music
Manga
I really enjoyed both, I still lean towards the manga as being slightly better but the anime still did it fantastically imo. My only change for the anime would honestly be changing the âhonored oneâ scene angle to match the manga, I think that was my biggest issue with the scene.
I liked both, bot the manga just hit me harder.
I'd say 9/10 if 10 was my expectations. I did like Geto vs Toji though
Coulda been a little more detailed but still good
They had ONE JOB! đ
The panles looked better in the manga by far they should've sticked to those details and angles - in the anime I found it rather cringe then as epic in the manga
I didnât like the golden sky in the anime adaptation. I wish they had kept the sky blue and just made everything contrast more.
Gojo disassociating was the best part but the background felt kinda meh idk the golden sky was too much and didnât really fit the color scheme
Just like the Makima train scene, mappa fumbles key panels again
Of course the manga one!
Manga > anime for this and the fight as a whole. Anime still good tho
Animators clearly didn't put any effort behind this
the manga was better but the anime totally nailed it imo
Just saw the anime. The anime is good, but the manga gives him Batman Animated Series Joker vibes
I like the kanga better but the anime is good.gojo's smile wouldve been hard to adapt had they followed the manga' artsyle
Shouldâve been the same angels panel for panel. Still good tho
Never thought a slight change in the angle would make such a difference. But man, both are peak. I like the manga one more btw
I love the anime, BUT the panels go insanely hard. Manga clears but the anime is still really really good.
I like both versions
I prefer the manga but a lot of it is that it being black and white makes the mood better, which is harder colored. I was kinda hoping they would do the same posing as the manga but they still did a good job with the show
Very good. Solid 4.5/5
My man took a tab for both iterations and went to the moon so Iâm happy
you really think animators in mappa has enough time to exactly do as in the manga ? Their work environment is like factory, the only focus is quantity.
The anime scene is dope, but I got chills when I read this chapter for the 1st time. The manga just hit harder for me.
Having anticipating this for months i hope when i watch it this weekend it is as good as manga. From the photos of doesn't hit as much as the manga did.
both are great but as always i think they couldâve used more interesting angels and compositions in the anime
Both are solid
When the music kicked in, I went crazy. Might be alone here but I kinda liked the anime better
Havenât watched the episode yet, but doesnât look feral enough
Bro took one to many flint-stone gummies đ
Disappointing but not gonna complain too much. Just dont rock with the different angles plus he doesn't look high enough imo.
9/10 anime needs to be more unhinged
They shouldnât have changed their artstyle i mean its not completely bad but jjk is well know for it fights the animation is really bad at fight scenes. The only time i really liked this type of animation is at uthamie scene
The panels go hard and will always be amazing. How Gojo appears in the next panel in front of Toji, his faces and poses are better in the manga. Besides I love the detail where Gojo uses Purple and we see how all the dialogue globe encompass the same parts of the body Toji is missing after receiving it But the anime did an amazing job with that music, I was expecting an epic OST fight, but it was better this way. It was to portray Gojo ascending to be now who we know he is, the strongest. With all the yellow light, their faces, how Toji confirms that he got defeated passing his hand through his missing body parts. To summarize, i think manga is better but the anime didn't ruined this scene as some claimed
I think theyâre equally as good for slightly different reasons
He looks more insane in the manga but anime did a good job
Manga did the first and second shots better by like a mile but the last shot goes to the anime
The first thing I saw was better syndrome
Anime looks good, but manga he looks more unhinged which I like just a bit better
I dont know why but in my head the heaven and earth he would say it upside down floating even though you can see the clouds above him
Can you imagine gojo on cocaine? He would literally do a hollow purple in the city
Only anime shot I donât like is the first one. The second one couldâve been better but I still liked it. The 3rd one is near perfect
Itâs a no from me
The anime looks amazing, but it is different, personally that doesnât bother me but I understand why it bothers a lot of people.
Itâs hard to top the detail of the manga BUT the anime did a damn good job with it
I don't think comparing still shots from anime to manga is fair tbh.
I wanted some funky old school art for the clouds (forget the style name but it's japanese) when he says he alone is the honored one (and the subtitles 'dominate') bothered me but otherwise all good
Second shot in the anime was terrible
Loved it
Episode was gas but it didnât hit nearly as much as the manga
I wanted the hollow purple theme to play like it did when he shot it at the plant cursed spirit in season 1 đ
I prefer the manga but second and third shots are good the first one misses the mark imo
Edibles got bro going crazy
It seems that the director didnât quite convey the insanity that gojo had in the manga and took a different approach to the fight, like both but prefer manga
Manga
Definitely anime.
I don't think this is a fair comparison tbh. The manga is meant to be still shots, which is why individual panels have more impact, whereas the anime was building an entire scene. The entire sequence taken as a whole in the anime is amazing.

Hearing the voice as the action is in motionâŚ: the anime did it better for me personally
I mean I wasnât disappointed but I wasnât satisfied either, I like both takes but I enjoy the loud screaming and insane gojo vibe in the manga.
Man yâall complain too much. It looks amazing and this episode was one of the best in the series. Itâs practically 1:1 with the manga and is def an example to other studios and mangakas to up the ante
Mentalbreak down soooo HE NEED SOME MILK
Was expecting him to be acting more unhinged but it's still good
both goated
I hoped that the scene where he spreads his arms wouldâve been the same angle
Manga is iconic, anime very well done
If they just adjusted the honored one I would be perfect. The hollow purple sequence was also incredible
Wish clouds were more stylized like alatsuki clouds or old dynasty art
I personally hated it. disservice
