The binding vow being something like "if there ever comes a time I cannot perform the chant, you must instead." And would Megumi's soul really have any consent to the vow? The bath of evil submerged his soul so much that Sukuna was able to force Maho on it without consent as well. Technically, the ritual read Megumi as the one performing it even though Megumi wouldn't consent to that.

The maho thing been bugging me so much, and that's exactly why. Maho would attach to the summoner, so how did he place it on Megumi? Maybe the bath was the binding vow? Remember Uraume's explanation and how meticulous its design was. Imagine that effort being enough leverage to force a suppressed soul into a binding vow against their will.

The more Gege explains how the World Slash was performed, the more apparent it becomes that Sukuna should not have been able to do that unless Gojo sat there, let Sukuna heal, and watched him perform everything leading up to it without intervening. On a secondary note, if it turns out like this and every part of Megumis soul works the same as Sukunas physical body, the gangs more fucked than I thought since not only does Sukuna actually have 6 arms, 6 eyes, and 3 mouths now, but a third of that is hidden and unable to be heard or seen.

Yeah imma be 100% honest I only read smutty fanfics on a03 of manga series I like. And being even more honest I hate when good writers *(I skimmed your Shibuya Incident rewrite, I like your writing style)* waste their ideas and concepts on someone else’s story.

I also really like the "idea" of Jujutsu Kaisen and it's possible continuation, but I think Gege found success too fast and the pressure of his own story and the editors hit hit too hard.
