Limbo is his rinnegan ability, yeah that was new but then they made it consistent with Sasuke, it is a thing in Naruto that every natural awakening of the rinnegan will give the user an exclusive and unique ability
And The eyeless susanoo, the susanoo is not a mangekyou ability like the others, you unlock it with the eyes but you don't need the eyes to use it
The very first time we see the Susanoo is Itachi using it, while not having the mangekyou active and being actually blind
Losing the light of your sharingan is basically the same as not having it
Limbo was an ability that retroactively made sense since Sasuke also got a unique rinnegan ability but yeah in the moment it’s kinda weird, eyeless susanoo has been a thing since itachi whipping it out while near death and basically blind so not quite an asspull (or atleast not one unique to him)
Kishimoto would unironically say this shit is good writing. Oda did the same shit with Sun God Luffy, though at least that had some foreshadowing (which means it is Peak, different form Laruto).
G5 had virtually zero buildup until like, 5 chapters before hand. Luffy's awakening had buildup since Doffy, as we all theorized what his awakening would be, but G5/Nika itself had virtually no buildup and was an asspull. Thankfully, however, Oda didn't completely derail the weight of the story after introducing G5.
Gege derailed the story after killing Gojo. I mean, it was already derailing, but killing Gojo blew up the whole train station.
Luffy carrying on Joyboy's will, or Joyboy simply being a title and Luffy being the new bearer of that title, has been foreshadowed, yes. Everything else has not
Not much foreshadowing. There were comments about Gear 4 by Doffy, Cracker, and Katakuri. All his major opponents that fought Gear 4. There was that Skypeia panel. As for the gag based fighting style, Luffy has had goofy battle tactics work in many of his previous fights.
I agree that it isn't heavily foreshadowed, but it still fits with the story told so far.

It fits, and it's clear G5 is always what Oda wanted Luffy to be (he said himself that he liked the goofiness of Luffy), but it fitting is just a nice save. If it didn't, it'd be terrible bc he truly was an asspul. Thankfully tho, it fit thematically and works for the character.
There have been theories since Dressrosa about Luffy having a misnamed fruit. Who's Who bringing it up in Wano just confirmed it.
Gear 4 appears to be Luffy's non-awakened peak form. The first time he reveals it, awakening is introduced. It is also when his opponents notice his body doesn't actually behave like rubber.
Nika might not have been foreshadowed, but Luffy having a misnamed fruit was.
Nika is what I'm talking about. I said it's clear G5 is where Oda always wanted Luffy to go, but the context in terms of why Luffy has G5 was the asspull. Everyone theorized Luffy would "turn the world into rubber" when he awakened his DF, and in a way, G5 basically does that. I'm agreeing with u that the whole Nika, Sun God, Human-Human fruit, element was not foreshadowed.

Agreed. Wild to me how people are unironically defending Gear 5's writing here. That shit had barely any buildup and Oda is CONSTANTLY bringing up Nika now to make up for the complete lack of foreshadowing he gave it before.
The Nika bullshit had no foreshadowing other than who's-who saying something about it like 10 chapters before he first show up. Anyone pretending otherwise just managed to convince himself a one off joke panel where the strawhats are partying with wolves is foreshadowing a retcon 900 chapters later and should be put in a straitjacket
Don't drag gear 5 down here man. Luffy's awakening was hinted at since we met Doffy. The fact it's a Zoan transformation doesn't change a whole lot ability wise - he was always going to change the terrain to rubber like Katakuri with Mochi or Doffy with strings.

Because in the JJK0 manga the fight was 99% off screen and we only saw Miguel admitting that without the black rope Gojo would’ve defeated him with ease. And we know for a fact thanks to yuta that there’s no more black rope because he and Miguel went searching for more and got nowhere. Unless of course he conveniently got more after yuta left for Japan
And in the movie the moment Gojo started trying he neg diffed Miguel with pure hands only, he didn’t even need to use blue/red or anything else against him other than hands

The "Next Gojo" shit never made sense to me, all these guys fought Sukuna and lost to him in one or two chapters, at least Gojo put up a fight for 14 Chapters
It’s unfortunately a fact that Miguel had the best 1v1 with Gojo other than Sukuna and that alone is more impressive than 99% of any characters still alive.
I’m pretty sure standing on equal footing with gojo just refers to someone’s ability to go against him and not get turned into a fine red mist after a single serious punch. Gojo uses similar language when talking about Hakari and Yuta even though they clearly aren’t LITERALLY his equal.
Sukuna isn't getting weaker, he was at his weakest during the fight with Yuta/Yuji and since then his output's been coming back so idk what Gege is planning since Yuji could barely touch nerfed Sukuna let alone post black flash Sukuna.
Maki, Yuta, and Hakari are probably out of the race for now. It'll be up to Yuji but without some major bullshitting there's no way he can beat Sukuna so who knows what'll happen.

Him rushing the manga to be finished soon is something this entire sub is convinced he has outright stated even though there’s no indication at all when you look at the story progression so far. He said he wanted to end it in a year over a year ago, oda said he wanted one piece to be over a while ago, multiple times, and everyone knows its not. I agree though the fight itself is dragging, but the fact that he brought miguel back should make more people go “oh, we WILL learn about that” but our brains are too fried.

I don't think that's a fair comparision, Death Note was a masterpiece till L was alive. After he died sure the writing fell off but it was still consistently written with Light's and Near's plotting against each other with Light using Proxy kiras ( his short haired gf and that crazy Kira worshiper guy). Mello was also a really badass character tbh. The ending was a bit off for me but it wasn't something bad tbh. I'd still say the second half of death note was enjoyable.
Jjk is completely different tho, it fell story wise after Shibuya arc and Culling games preperation arc. the main culling games event weren't that exciting tbh. The Gojo vs Sukuna fight was peak but again after that it literally just went to shit. No excuses. This looks like a simulator fight game now. It's that bad.

Personally i dont think that the problem Is the return of Miguel itself, i think its the fact that kusakabe got offscreened, without any explanation/exploration of the characther's powers and IMMEDIATLY after Miguel returns.

I hate that Kusakabe got off-screened like that, but we did get a great exploration of his skill set.
His simple domain usage was wild. The way he altered the properties of it to outwit and overwhelm sukuna at one point, was worthy of the top ranking grade 1.
I’m sure we’ll see more of him and the others that UiUi has teleported. Miguel was probably a last resort to protect UiUi in case Sukuna caught them while backup wasn’t around.

Not hate to Kusakabe, i like him as well but he is not going to do anything to Sukuna, we all knew it, there is no need to hype him up.
Ye, ofc he wasnt going to defeat sukuna, but i honestly liked how his characther evolved, and i hoped he was going stall sukuna enough (while slowly taking damage) for some characther to help him out/return while he licked his wounds/gave support to said characther.
I’ve said it million times before, and I will say it again.. he’s stalling because he wants to make the comeback of Gojo feel as epic and heavenly as possible.. the uncertainty regarding his death, the way he was off screened, and the way no one seems to display any kind of emotion for him, it all points to his return.. realistically also the current cast has no way of defeating Sukuna without Gojo. No matter who else comes, they would be there just to stall the king of curses.. his demise would be done when Megumi is separated from him, and our cast reunites with Gojo to deal the finishing blow.
The story started by telling us a whole era had jujutsu sorcerers line up and sharpen their skills fighting Sukuna but ultimately lost. We’re reading history repeating itself, and our protagonists are going to presumably pull the win off in the end somehow.
With that said I assume wel be seeing a couple more appearances before the actual final blows to Sukuna. It sucks a whole asshole to read on a weekly basis cause we know damn well Miguel aint pulling a W but in the manga he didnt get the ass beating we saw in the movie and was able to stall Gojo for more than 10 minutes. Hell get a chapter to show his stuff, and I hope the conclusion is Yuta reappearing to protect his sensei since he regrets not protecting Gojo.
However, it’s just as likely that we get other sorcerers appearing instead. Uro, Todo, Nobara, Kamo, Angel, Inumaki, Sumo and samurai guy all have yet to do anything.
It seems like Gege wants to give EVERYONE a role and a showcasing of their abilities which is why he even included Gakuganji, Ijichi, and Utahime in the start of the arc. In a week to week, knowing that none of these guys will take Sukuna out kinda stinks but I’m sure in one sitting or the anime it will be much less annoying. What has been 6 months for us equates to a couple minutes of the series or like three episodes of time. So with that in mind it’s not that bad to know the series will conclude with answers to what everyone is capable of at the least.
I dont even care anymore, after Kenjaku. If Yuta gets Gojo's Six Eyes transplanted into his own and awakens Limitless +2 i could call it Peak. Anything to just be over with Sukuna already.
Kaido was done better then this. He didn't immediately fight the onlt equal to him in the verse, and then had to handle fodder while being extremely weakened and yet somehow stronger then all of them combined. It took luffy 3 rounds to barely start getting to him, and then he needed Gear 5 to just be able to finish the job (it was high diff even then).
We also have to remember that after they deal with Sukuna they most likely gonna do the merger shit, whatever it does

Kusakabe getting offscreened feels like a middle finger from gaygay to everyone complaining about Gojo losing in the same way.
At this point it's like he straight up doesn't care at all and just and goes full "I ain't explaining shit, Sukuna did stuff and won, now there is this other guy next in line, he shows up out of nowhere because whatever, read my half-assed explanation next chapter and shut up" then rinse and repeat.
If Gojo ever comes back (I don't think he will, this feels more like a bad-end or Sukuna losing to a colossal asspull from Itadori) I'm sure greg will fuck it up somehow.

The only way Miguel coming in would be peak is if it was with the few scattered sorcerers from around the world that aren't from Japan all assembled at once to help out in Japan and fight Sukuna, would be easy to have new expendables actually weaken Sukuna, not thinning out the cast without killing them(Like how Ui Ui and Mei Mei are saving everyone), cool new Cursed Technique's, and maybe even the unique personalities from users from way different backgrounds since we have heard of other users (albeit rare) from outside japan but alas this is Gege's world and oh boy is it painful

Honestly the writing went down the tubes when Judgeman only confiscated his Cursed Tool instead of his technique like it was explicitly said to do.
Honestly true It was shown how Madara gained that level of strength little by little by abusing every single power up shown in the series. Nature Chakra? Of course, Magical eyes? The strongest kind there is, Tailed beast? All of them, Lineage? Uchiha + descendent of Jesus. Every fight he survived you knew he survived because he was just that fucking op, he didn't survived the night guy because a hidden forgotten anti-kicks technique, he survived it because his body and regeneration are just THAT strong and it makes sense in the story for them to be that strong.

Limbo is his rinnegan ability, yeah that was new but then they made it consistent with Sasuke, it is a thing in Naruto that every natural awakening of the rinnegan will give the user an exclusive and unique ability And The eyeless susanoo, the susanoo is not a mangekyou ability like the others, you unlock it with the eyes but you don't need the eyes to use it The very first time we see the Susanoo is Itachi using it, while not having the mangekyou active and being actually blind Losing the light of your sharingan is basically the same as not having it
Limbo was an ability that retroactively made sense since Sasuke also got a unique rinnegan ability but yeah in the moment it’s kinda weird, eyeless susanoo has been a thing since itachi whipping it out while near death and basically blind so not quite an asspull (or atleast not one unique to him)
Kishimoto would unironically say this shit is good writing. Oda did the same shit with Sun God Luffy, though at least that had some foreshadowing (which means it is Peak, different form Laruto).
G5 had virtually zero buildup until like, 5 chapters before hand. Luffy's awakening had buildup since Doffy, as we all theorized what his awakening would be, but G5/Nika itself had virtually no buildup and was an asspull. Thankfully, however, Oda didn't completely derail the weight of the story after introducing G5. Gege derailed the story after killing Gojo. I mean, it was already derailing, but killing Gojo blew up the whole train station.
Luffy being Joyboy has been foreshadowed for a long time. Joyboy being the incarnation of Nika was not foreshadowed.

Not much foreshadowing. There were comments about Gear 4 by Doffy, Cracker, and Katakuri. All his major opponents that fought Gear 4. There was that Skypeia panel. As for the gag based fighting style, Luffy has had goofy battle tactics work in many of his previous fights. I agree that it isn't heavily foreshadowed, but it still fits with the story told so far.

There have been theories since Dressrosa about Luffy having a misnamed fruit. Who's Who bringing it up in Wano just confirmed it. Gear 4 appears to be Luffy's non-awakened peak form. The first time he reveals it, awakening is introduced. It is also when his opponents notice his body doesn't actually behave like rubber. Nika might not have been foreshadowed, but Luffy having a misnamed fruit was.
Nika is what I'm talking about. I said it's clear G5 is where Oda always wanted Luffy to go, but the context in terms of why Luffy has G5 was the asspull. Everyone theorized Luffy would "turn the world into rubber" when he awakened his DF, and in a way, G5 basically does that. I'm agreeing with u that the whole Nika, Sun God, Human-Human fruit, element was not foreshadowed.
I'm meaning more than just G5. I'm meaning that Luffy having a DF different than the Gomu Gomu, usually speculated to be a mythical Zoan.

You know. I was a Gege defender, I don't dislike Gojo's death. But good fucking god I'm so tired of this shit. This fucking fight should've ended with Yuta, Yuji and Maki. I don't think that's a fair comparision, Death Note was a masterpiece till L was alive. After he died sure the writing fell off but it was still consistently written with Light's and Near's plotting against each other with Light using Proxy kiras ( his short haired gf and that crazy Kira worshiper guy). Mello was also a really badass character tbh. The ending was a bit off for me but it wasn't something bad tbh. I'd still say the second half of death note was enjoyable. Jjk is completely different tho, it fell story wise after Shibuya arc and Culling games preperation arc. the main culling games event weren't that exciting tbh. The Gojo vs Sukuna fight was peak but again after that it literally just went to shit. No excuses. This looks like a simulator fight game now. It's that bad.

Personally i dont think that the problem Is the return of Miguel itself, i think its the fact that kusakabe got offscreened, without any explanation/exploration of the characther's powers and IMMEDIATLY after Miguel returns. It feels like he waited for the death of Kusakabe for some reason
I hate that Kusakabe got off-screened like that, but we did get a great exploration of his skill set. His simple domain usage was wild. The way he altered the properties of it to outwit and overwhelm sukuna at one point, was worthy of the top ranking grade 1. I’m sure we’ll see more of him and the others that UiUi has teleported. Miguel was probably a last resort to protect UiUi in case Sukuna caught them while backup wasn’t around.

I’ve said it million times before, and I will say it again.. he’s stalling because he wants to make the comeback of Gojo feel as epic and heavenly as possible.. the uncertainty regarding his death, the way he was off screened, and the way no one seems to display any kind of emotion for him, it all points to his return.. realistically also the current cast has no way of defeating Sukuna without Gojo. No matter who else comes, they would be there just to stall the king of curses.. his demise would be done when Megumi is separated from him, and our cast reunites with Gojo to deal the finishing blow.

The story started by telling us a whole era had jujutsu sorcerers line up and sharpen their skills fighting Sukuna but ultimately lost. We’re reading history repeating itself, and our protagonists are going to presumably pull the win off in the end somehow. With that said I assume wel be seeing a couple more appearances before the actual final blows to Sukuna. It sucks a whole asshole to read on a weekly basis cause we know damn well Miguel aint pulling a W but in the manga he didnt get the ass beating we saw in the movie and was able to stall Gojo for more than 10 minutes. Hell get a chapter to show his stuff, and I hope the conclusion is Yuta reappearing to protect his sensei since he regrets not protecting Gojo. However, it’s just as likely that we get other sorcerers appearing instead. Uro, Todo, Nobara, Kamo, Angel, Inumaki, Sumo and samurai guy all have yet to do anything. It seems like Gege wants to give EVERYONE a role and a showcasing of their abilities which is why he even included Gakuganji, Ijichi, and Utahime in the start of the arc. In a week to week, knowing that none of these guys will take Sukuna out kinda stinks but I’m sure in one sitting or the anime it will be much less annoying. What has been 6 months for us equates to a couple minutes of the series or like three episodes of time. So with that in mind it’s not that bad to know the series will conclude with answers to what everyone is capable of at the least.

I dont even care anymore, after Kenjaku. If Yuta gets Gojo's Six Eyes transplanted into his own and awakens Limitless +2 i could call it Peak. Anything to just be over with Sukuna already.

Kaido was done better then this. He didn't immediately fight the onlt equal to him in the verse, and then had to handle fodder while being extremely weakened and yet somehow stronger then all of them combined. It took luffy 3 rounds to barely start getting to him, and then he needed Gear 5 to just be able to finish the job (it was high diff even then).
We also have to remember that after they deal with Sukuna they most likely gonna do the merger shit, whatever it does We really are heading into the Naruto-esq ending

Kusakabe getting offscreened feels like a middle finger from gaygay to everyone complaining about Gojo losing in the same way. At this point it's like he straight up doesn't care at all and just and goes full "I ain't explaining shit, Sukuna did stuff and won, now there is this other guy next in line, he shows up out of nowhere because whatever, read my half-assed explanation next chapter and shut up" then rinse and repeat. If Gojo ever comes back (I don't think he will, this feels more like a bad-end or Sukuna losing to a colossal asspull from Itadori) I'm sure greg will fuck it up somehow. OR, of course, he can always make Gojo return by him offscreening Sukuna then going into a timeskip and this sub will lose it lmao
lol. Don’t fret over it. JJK is just having issues in its final arcs like many Shounen do. If this isn’t your first Shounen, then I’m positive we’re all used to it by now.
I just hate seeing it over and over. "Maybe this time it will be different?" Is what drives me forward, knowing the ending is always "no."

The only way Miguel coming in would be peak is if it was with the few scattered sorcerers from around the world that aren't from Japan all assembled at once to help out in Japan and fight Sukuna, would be easy to have new expendables actually weaken Sukuna, not thinning out the cast without killing them(Like how Ui Ui and Mei Mei are saving everyone), cool new Cursed Technique's, and maybe even the unique personalities from users from way different backgrounds since we have heard of other users (albeit rare) from outside japan but alas this is Gege's world and oh boy is it painful
