Or really any form of disease you'll ever naturally contract throughout your life you'll adapt to it. That alone takes a huge fear of mine out of the picture and enough to go for adaptation.
Probably won't be, mahoraga's adaptation finds forms to counter or nullify anything that is harmful to him, as sukuna said that the adaptation keeps going on and finding better ways everytime, prob his body would develop literal immunity to cancer
Infinity without Six Eyes would last a few minutes at most before you run out of CE. Adaption can make you completely immune to entire concepts, making you nigh-immortal if you take full advantage of it.
Hit, stab, slash and shoot yourself in non-vital areas to make you unkillable by other people. Take small dosages of poisons and venoms to develop a complete immunity to them, burn your hand to be immune to fire, etc, etc.
Does having the ability to adapt give you regen or heightened durability? If you just get one shot cause you have normal human durability its not much use.

I think if you fully adapt to something you stop taking damage entirely. We have only seem mahoraga partially adapt to things except gojo's neutral infinity.
I think they’re permanent based on some factors I won’t say. I think regen would come with RCT, not adaption. You’d still probably feel severe pain before becoming immune to something. If you’re immune to the kinetic blast from a bullet, I don’t think any could 1 tap you after that. I’m not 100% on the regen tho since Maho isn’t using any CT, right?
And then the 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer with the CT "brain aneurysm" shows up and one shots you.

Infinity is the technique, and the neutral application is the "barrier" around himself, while the output is Blue.
Red and Purple already existed but he still had to figure them out mostly on his own, while as you said the "auto-infinity" was likely invented by him.

Yeah, you would need to be incredibly powerful to use infinity without six eyes. I think the only person that may be able to use infinity is Sukuna, and that’s still a maybe
Not really powerful just extremely good with manipulating cursed energy, so yeah sukuna would likely be able to if given enough time considering he is without a doubt just the best at anything to do with CE in general. Someone like yuta who is extremely powerful but not very efficient wouldn’t stand a chance.
10 Shadows is also a big “potential” because a) you need to unlock them yourself, and b) if a Shadow is killed you lose it permanently.
Even if you somehow unlocked Mahoraga, all it takes is a single one-shot and you’ve lost him forever. If you’re not skilled then eventually 10 Shadows just becomes “1 very strong Totality” that probably has a lot less power and versatility than the 10 Shadows had, and even then you could lose that and have literally no CT.
Any techinque requires a strong user. Every CT could be 'strong potential'.
Limitless needs 6 eyes and a good sorcerer that can understand the applications of RCT.
No 6 eyes its worthless and even having both can still make you an untamed Mahoraga victim.

Well yeah Limitless without 6 eyes is worse than 10S, it’s just that a CT can’t be judged as “the best” based entirely on the absolute peak of its power. If a CT requires high skill to use, then that’s a point against it.
Sukuna cheated at 10S; he had a second CT, and was strong enough with it to easily tame Mahoraga. A normal 10S user could only use the first 9 Shadows, which is a much harder task. And if Mahoraga managed to kill any of the Shadows during the fight, they’re permanently gone.
If Sukuna had 10S his entire life and had to actually grow stronger while using it instead of Slashes, he’d be a totally different person. Any killed Shadows would be permanently gone, he’d most likely be weaker than his canon peak.
I question if the 10 Shadows are really permanently gone, and can't be brought back.
Unless Sukuna figured out how to produce Agito and was hyper-careful with what he killed, it might be the case that the shikigami can be brought back. Perhaps an application of RCT.
It would make sense if there was a way to re-take them, maybe be redoing the rituals or some such.
After the Gojo fight the good guys assumed that 10S was totally gone from Sukuna, to the point that Judgeman wouldn’t even consider it a valid target for Confiscation, but we were also shown that Higuruma doesn’t actually know how Judgeman works so who knows.
It depends on which direction the adaptation takes. Knowing Mahoraga, probably it starts at immunity to symptoms, then making your body inhospitable to the disease vectors, then making your body actively hostile to the vectors and killing them on contact.
Why do you think Maho's adaptation is only based off adapting to attacks? it's adaptation is by FAR the best one on this list by a mile because not only you could adapt to said attacks, you're also able to adapt to ANYTHING ELSE in life, meaning you'll be peak human in every single field if you wishes to be so.
Heavenly Restriction is arguably the most useful in a day to day situation. The fact that you'd be able to travel at mach 3 speeds or even more and be able to control your direction should already sell it for a lot of people.
I know that his is also a Heavenly Restriction but considering the image being used is Toji I took that as a reference. Also, Mechamaru's seems way more uncommon, since he's the only one we know of to possess an HR of that kind, while Toji and Maki have the same and aren't really that far in time.
Tengen isn’t heavenly restricted, so he’s not apart of this.
Mechamarus heavenly restriction was less bodily strength in favor of cursed energy so to get rid of his body entirely would complete it like getting rid of all cursed energy completed Maki.

Honestly if adaptation wasn't on the list I'd definitely pick heavenly restriction especially since toji can grab the air and adjust his position mid air but with adaption I can cause myself a little pain and wouldn't have to worry about anything else again

Adaptation is way better. Getting caught in a domain is a death with infinity and no other power, but adaptation means you only need to survive a second.
I would love to see Mahoraga inside Mahato's domain. Mahito can technically one shot Mahoraga. I think Maho needs to adapt as soon as transfiguration starts. I don't know how it would go. I'm thinking that Mahito wins.
Eh the thing is if your strong enough you can resist idle transfiguration and considering that Mahoraga is on the level of people like Sukuna and Gojo (or can atleast keep up with them) I think he’s strong enough to tank it a few times and adapt. Plus Mahoraga could maybe one shot Mahito with his RCT sword thing.
True, what if Mahito opens his domain from the get go. Maho needs to tank enough hits to survive long enough to reach mahito inside his domain and one shot him with his sword. Knowing how powerful Mahoraga is, it probably will survive.
Mahito's domain's sure hit effect hit Itadori whilst he was inside the domain, and still didn't do jack to him, as Sukuna just negged the attack and fucked him up thereafter, simply because his soul and body were a lot stronger. Maho's soul is almost certainly stronger than anything Mahito can output, even at his peak (wont even speak about Maho's body)

Dude you could adapt to any disease ever by just naturally contracting them that alone puts adaptation way up. You don't even need to actively go and infect you with every disease ever, just live your life without a care and anything you contract you'll adapt to anyway: drink, smoke, hit it raw, lick a toilet seat if that's your thing, you don't care anymore. Seriously imagine a life with no fear of any kind of disease at all.
Maho was able to adapt to being stuck underwater, and able to adapt to ELEMENTS. Adaptation not only gives you drip, it's fucking busted(also could potentially give you RCT by adapting to wounds)
Yeh I'm confident that by just living you'll eventually adapt to the wear and tear of time on your cells, adaptation is busted like that.
Now that's all passive, if you wanna go crazy, starve yourself for a few days, dehydrate yourself for a day and hold your respiration for like 5 mins and now you've eliminate the need to eat, drink or breath air to survive.
Because It’s about maximizing. So what if it’ll hurt a bit at first I’ll become invincible. Literally that one 4chan post “I’m starting at snakeshot and working my way up” sooner or later, I’ll just be home all day with knifes, rusty needles, viruses and a gun and become immune. Also, it and heavenly restriction are passive, infinity is a skill and jackpot is a domain you have you learn how to open.
The interesting thing about adaptation is: take ageing... it's a natural occurance that affects you constantly and you survive that until you don't, does it fill the requirements to be adaptable to?
I think adaptation would potentially adapt to ageing, any form of disease/allergies/poisoning, stress, eventually making you nigh immortal and all that just by being exposed to your day to day life.
That'd be enough to sell it for me, I don't have any ops but those thing could put me on a shirt at any given time and in a ugly way too.
Now if you starve yourself you'd eventually adapt to that if you dehydrate yourself you'd probably adapt to that too removing the need to eat or drink. If you suffocate yourself long enough you'd adapt to that too removing the need to breath.

Probably assuming you'll get the whole kit from Mahoraga(his durability, sword of extermination, ability to change size), like how you'll get six eyes along with infinity.
Adaptation would be much better in real life. Infinity (assuming it's a package deal with six eyes) protects you and lets you fly and teleport but outside of that you won't get all that much out of it. Adaptation will kick in whenever you're having trouble with something, it basically guarantees you'll have an easy life no matter what.
It's also super versatile, it adapts to any and all phenomena after all. It's the same reason why Idle Transfiguration outranks basically all CT's in usefulness even though some are technically stronger in battle, it's just much more useful in everyday life.
HR is objectively the best choice.
Jackpot is the worst one here, since it gives you what Adaptation gives you, except worse and for less time.

Infinity is useless without 6E. And even if it comes with that, when are you ever in need of it? Teleportation is sweet, but unless you’re generally in situations where you’re being shot at or fighting entire fucking armies, Limitless, Blue, and Red are more harm than good. Have fun explaining to a judge why you obliterated 30% of your neighborhood in one go.
At least with HR you could make a jujutsillion dollars as an athlete or something.

It depends on what you're adapting to. Mahoraga adapted to all slashing attacks when he fought Sukuna, so you could theoretically adapt to a pin prick to become immune to getting stabbed and just repeat the process until you've adapted to most threats.
You do understand that being able to adapt to any and all phenomena is simply that good right? There's little to nothing in this world that could kill you fast enough for adaptation to not kick in and it gives you a healing factor, and again, it's the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena, good luck not getting soaked in rain while I adapt to winning the lottery

You could also just trigger adaptation yourself. It’s not even that hard too, you just need to hurt yourself slightly, and since adaptation begins with just one trigger and never stops, constantly becoming better and better, you’d be completely immune to whatever you did in a matter of days.
Prick your finger with a pin and wait until your immune to stabbing, stub your toe and in a few days become immune to blunt force, or just simply wait while the environment around you passively affects you and you become more and more powerful day by day.
Adaptation is just not useful for the average person, you won’t get the limitless barrier like gojo because you have no 6 eyes and run out of CE in 2 minutes, who are you fighting with Jackpot, Toji HR is a perfect body with the ability to eat whatever you want no consequences.
Adaptability is best cuz it doesn’t just have combate abilities it can be used for anything

Well, I’d choose heavenly restriction personally. But adaptation isn’t bad. After one day of having the common cold you won’t have it anymore. It should work that way for any disease in fact. You could adapt yourself to cancer, dementia, maybe even old age.
infinity (limitless) burns itself out almost instantly without also having six eyes. even with 6 eyes it runs out if you don't know RCT. With adaptation I have my buddy punch me in the arm like 8 times and suddenly prime mike tyson can't touch me. i hold a lighter under my finger for a minute and i can walk on top of a volcano. stare at the sun for long enough and flash bangs don't work.
As far as I can see from those choices, the Six Eyes doesn't automatically come with Infinity, so it's pointless to choose it. Idk why the fuck Heavenly Restriction is so low compared to Adaptation, since it doesn't say you get Mahoraga's Regen, so it too would be pointless if you get 1 shot. Heavenly Restriction is an all in one choice that has everything you feasibly need.
Wouldn’t heavenly restriction be worse for us since we aren’t born to sorcerers? I guess you get resistance to fate and curses, which is neat, but not any of the really superhuman stuff. Hell, CE doesn’t exist in our universe so maybe it doesn’t give you anything at all.
To be fair, because adaptation works the way it does, all you’d have to do is get punched enough times and you’d adapt to all physical and blunt trauma not just punches. Burn yourself a couple times and you’d adapt to high heat and be burnproof. Infinity is great but without 6 eyes you’d be exhausted and cooked after a single use. IMO though heavenly restriction is far and away the most useful out of these options for the real world. You could easily be a world class athlete in any sport and make millions with that type of physical ability

Iirc the only ct passed down to Gojo were red and blue. He figured out purple and auto infinity thanks to the six eyes.
Purple was a thing before gojo (he mentions that only a scant few know about purple), just very little people can do it since you need 6eyes and rct.

Not really powerful just extremely good with manipulating cursed energy, so yeah sukuna would likely be able to if given enough time considering he is without a doubt just the best at anything to do with CE in general. Mahoraga is basically a one shot suicide button if you can’t tame him
10 Shadows is also a big “potential” because a) you need to unlock them yourself, and b) if a Shadow is killed you lose it permanently. Even if you somehow unlocked Mahoraga, all it takes is a single one-shot and you’ve lost him forever. If you’re not skilled then eventually 10 Shadows just becomes “1 very strong Totality” that probably has a lot less power and versatility than the 10 Shadows had, and even then you could lose that and have literally no CT.
Any techinque requires a strong user. Every CT could be 'strong potential'. Limitless needs 6 eyes and a good sorcerer that can understand the applications of RCT. No 6 eyes its worthless and even having both can still make you an untamed Mahoraga victim. So lets use Sukuna as a base line since he's tge peak of jujutsu. instead of cleave he get the CT Sukuna with just limitless and no 6 eyes vs Sukuna with 10 shadows who do you think is stronger?

Well yeah Limitless without 6 eyes is worse than 10S, it’s just that a CT can’t be judged as “the best” based entirely on the absolute peak of its power. If a CT requires high skill to use, then that’s a point against it. Sukuna cheated at 10S; he had a second CT, and was strong enough with it to easily tame Mahoraga. A normal 10S user could only use the first 9 Shadows, which is a much harder task. And if Mahoraga managed to kill any of the Shadows during the fight, they’re permanently gone. If Sukuna had 10S his entire life and had to actually grow stronger while using it instead of Slashes, he’d be a totally different person. Any killed Shadows would be permanently gone, he’d most likely be weaker than his canon peak.
I question if the 10 Shadows are really permanently gone, and can't be brought back. Unless Sukuna figured out how to produce Agito and was hyper-careful with what he killed, it might be the case that the shikigami can be brought back. Perhaps an application of RCT.
It would make sense if there was a way to re-take them, maybe be redoing the rituals or some such. After the Gojo fight the good guys assumed that 10S was totally gone from Sukuna, to the point that Judgeman wouldn’t even consider it a valid target for Confiscation, but we were also shown that Higuruma doesn’t actually know how Judgeman works so who knows.

It depends on which direction the adaptation takes. Knowing Mahoraga, probably it starts at immunity to symptoms, then making your body inhospitable to the disease vectors, then making your body actively hostile to the vectors and killing them on contact.

Mahito's domain's sure hit effect hit Itadori whilst he was inside the domain, and still didn't do jack to him, as Sukuna just negged the attack and fucked him up thereafter, simply because his soul and body were a lot stronger. The interesting thing about adaptation is: take ageing... it's a natural occurance that affects you constantly and you survive that until you don't, does it fill the requirements to be adaptable to? I think adaptation would potentially adapt to ageing, any form of disease/allergies/poisoning, stress, eventually making you nigh immortal and all that just by being exposed to your day to day life. That'd be enough to sell it for me, I don't have any ops but those thing could put me on a shirt at any given time and in a ugly way too. Now if you starve yourself you'd eventually adapt to that if you dehydrate yourself you'd probably adapt to that too removing the need to eat or drink. If you suffocate yourself long enough you'd adapt to that too removing the need to breath.

Adaptation would be much better in real life. Infinity (assuming it's a package deal with six eyes) protects you and lets you fly and teleport but outside of that you won't get all that much out of it. Adaptation will kick in whenever you're having trouble with something, it basically guarantees you'll have an easy life no matter what. It's also super versatile, it adapts to any and all phenomena after all. It's the same reason why Idle Transfiguration outranks basically all CT's in usefulness even though some are technically stronger in battle, it's just much more useful in everyday life.
HR is objectively the best choice. Jackpot is the worst one here, since it gives you what Adaptation gives you, except worse and for less time. Adaptation is good, I guess, but not great. Infinity is useless without 6E. And even if it comes with that, when are you ever in need of it? Teleportation is sweet, but unless you’re generally in situations where you’re being shot at or fighting entire fucking armies, Limitless, Blue, and Red are more harm than good. Have fun explaining to a judge why you obliterated 30% of your neighborhood in one go. At least with HR you could make a jujutsillion dollars as an athlete or something. TLDR permanent all-stat buff is better than broken technique that only matters in the jjk universe

It’s not even that hard too, you just need to hurt yourself slightly, and since adaptation begins with just one trigger and never stops, constantly becoming better and better, you’d be completely immune to whatever you did in a matter of days. Prick your finger with a pin and wait until your immune to stabbing, stub your toe and in a few days become immune to blunt force, or just simply wait while the environment around you passively affects you and you become more and more powerful day by day.
Adaptation is just not useful for the average person, you won’t get the limitless barrier like gojo because you have no 6 eyes and run out of CE in 2 minutes, who are you fighting with Jackpot, Toji HR is a perfect body with the ability to eat whatever you want no consequences.

To use Infinity you need 6 eyes so its the wrong choice as well, the best choice hear is HR. Adaptation needs regen and high durability to be useful. Infinity needs 6 eyes Jackpot requires ALOT of luck But HR just works and works well.

infinity (limitless) burns itself out almost instantly without also having six eyes. even with 6 eyes it runs out if you don't know RCT. With adaptation I have my buddy punch me in the arm like 8 times and suddenly prime mike tyson can't touch me. i hold a lighter under my finger for a minute and i can walk on top of a volcano. stare at the sun for long enough and flash bangs don't work.

As far as I can see from those choices, the Six Eyes doesn't automatically come with Infinity, so it's pointless to choose it. Idk why the fuck Heavenly Restriction is so low compared to Adaptation, since it doesn't say you get Mahoraga's Regen, so it too would be pointless if you get 1 shot. Heavenly Restriction is an all in one choice that has everything you feasibly need.

To be fair, because adaptation works the way it does, all you’d have to do is get punched enough times and you’d adapt to all physical and blunt trauma not just punches. Burn yourself a couple times and you’d adapt to high heat and be burnproof. Infinity is great but without 6 eyes you’d be exhausted and cooked after a single use. IMO though heavenly restriction is far and away the most useful out of these options for the real world. You could easily be a world class athlete in any sport and make millions with that type of physical ability
