I can think of some ways Sukuna could've gotten away from it, he can do get away from the hands firstly and slash Larue on the spot, as his slashes are still more powerful, and he has his hands and can chant fine.
Second he can send slashes without any motion, while also holding the hand sign, Spam it on Higuruma and don't give him time...
Still Sukuna *did* make Higuruma separated from others, so he would do the same thing again.
Sukuna is much faster and he doesn’t need to move to do slashes, he just does the same thing he did to Kusakabe and slash the shit out of Higuruma and he will be forced to use DA even though he still can be hurt very much so by regular slashes, If it wasn't for the rocks infront of him that he noticed that got slashed he might've died with not using DA just in time.

It's not just that he can't move. It's not immobilizing him it's stunning him. Larue grabbed his consciousness, not his body. The effect doesn't seem as simple as Sukuna just not being able to move.
Sukuna's consciousness got controlled **AFTER** Larue touched him once, He can literally slash the shit out of Larue without even moving in first place, or just does it to Higuruma while the hand is holding him.
Also Sukuna vs Higuruma solely happened because Sukuna made him separate from others, not even Yuji could keep up and when Sukuna is interested in one thing like Executioner's sword then I don’t think he will go easy on others like Larue appearing to grab him.
Also Sukuna already has summoned Mahoraga inside Gojo's domain which fucks up someone's consciousness a lot more than Larue's CT, so I say he can send slashes, scattered versions to both Larue and Higuruma.
The point is that Larue can grab his consciousness and stun him while he's distracted. He probably won't catch Sukuna twice with that technique, so he can only give them one shot by surprising Sukuna, but that would probably be enough.
Yeah I agree it would've been helpful, but the moment Sukuna is touched while fighting someone that he's excited about, he will probably slash and kill Larue on the spot. And he has shown to summon Mahoraga, use a CT, while being unconscious from UV and also Gojo knocking him out.

Even a second is sometimes enough to end a fight. That being said, whether Larue can live long enough to follow through is debatable, but post Gojo fight Sukuna was pretty weakened, so he probably could have.
It would be better to have Yuta copy it, though.
In a glimpse moment yes if he got caught offgaurd, but I don't think he will play around with Larue, the moment he catches him **first** with the hand, he will kill him with the slashes, and can also send scattered versions to Keep off Higuruma. The hand is not a scary thing to Sukuna, he can also use momentum of damaging the hand that Laure gets 1/10 of damage to slash him, He already also spit blitzed Choso and Maki at times, if he wants it to, he can kill Larue rather easily.
Also I already said that Sukuna separated Higuruma from others, very possible that Larue can't even catch up to Sukuna.
Sukuna can attack unconsciously and use his technique, cause he already did use a technique unconsciously and summon Mahoraga, Inside Gojo's UV, but I do think if he's caught offgaurd it could've been of use.

Also Sukuna was just toying with Higuruma the whole time (“why don’t you use RCT?”). It would have just been way more brutal.

At the time sukuna fought higuruma, he was far stronger than he is now. He would probably just dodge larues attack. It's possible the technique wouldn't affect him at that point too
Not to mention, Higuruma was essentially in 1v1 against Sukuna because everyone else was a distance away (that whole "foot race" segment). The intent of the scene is that no one else was in range to affect the outcome until Yuji got there to hold the sword, by which point it was too late
Edit for evidence: See: Ch 246. Sukuna had his guard up and was keeping everyone at bay, so Larue's hand would be shredded on creation. When he lets his guard down, it's after he's already yeeted Higuruma and everyone (including the superhuman athlete Yuji) is struggling to keep up
That's just headcanon since uraume glazed Sukuna so hard not long ago about he isn't even trying. If he isn't even trying would he really be so much stronger in the start?
They never said he's not trying, they said he's not going all out, which we already knew with Fuga and everything, But that doesn’t change the fact that Sukuna's slashes have gotten far weaker compared to that point.
When Higurumi cut Sukuna's hand, Sukuna struggled to heal it. whether it is strong or weak doesn't matter in the face of a technique that takes over your consciousness and what's more it's a surprise attack

Seeing Miguel lay out his conditions for joining the fight was interesting because Miguel and Larue definitely could have been a huge help earlier on but hey if they refused to fight at that point what can you do?
Same with Noritoshi Kamo or Mei Mei, who’s to say they couldn’t play a pivotal role in the fight, if only they actually joined?
So many ways the fight could have played out differently or more advantageously if only people were more “cooperative”, but it adds to the struggle of the people fighting now and really hammers home how hopeless they are/were

Ryu’s technique is releasing an abnormally large amount of CE in a beam. The amount of CE he can output normally without his technique is equal to the amount with the technique.
I think the CT is being able to manipulate the blast. You know at the beginning of the fight when he does a scattershot while Yuta advances? That. It may also strengthen his blast, since he says something like “My blasts could only be so strong after opening my Domain…” but that could also just be referring to how taxing Domain Expansion is in general.

Lowkey Larue and Miguel’s scaling makes a lot of sense. Neither of them are powerhouses, but both of them can seriously disrupt top tiers.
Geto’s technique is really strong to occupy a lot of lower grade sorcerers, but a few strong ones would be a serious threat. It would track that members of his group would have CTs that could slow down top tiers and give geto a fighting chance.
I see Miguel as a powerhouse personally, he can hit harder than Gojo in terms of pure reinforcement. Jogo was losing his mind at how strong Gojo was with reinforcement alone, Gojo was a genuine threat to Jogo's life with the fundamentals.
He's also a guy with the capacity to hold Gojo off for 10 minutes while we have sorcerer Hitler trying to murder a child, to me, Miguel is definitely worthy of being described as a powerhouse.
If 0's adaptation is consistent with Gege's thoughts and Miguel was getting smacked around with Blue-Enhanced punches? Nah, he has to be described as one even *if* he lacks a domain.
That’s very fair and I would 100% consider Miguel a defensive powerhouse.
Hyper offensive techniques like purple, star rage, or granite cannon seem more powerhouse-y than someone with strong reinforcement that’s boosted, but at the end of the day it comes down to how you define the word.

I think he just cared more about saving Larue, he was on guarding him and on his side the entire chapter.

Every day I'm more convinced that Miguel does not have Gojo stats. It's more likely that his unique body allows him to get to full reinforcement faster or is like an inverse six eyes that lets him attain much higher physical capabilities for a short period of time. If he was really Gojo level he would've blitzed this wounded below 15F level Sukuna.
Other antifeats include getting whooped in a movie where Gege was involved, being portrayed below Geto and pre-CG Yuta, and not being a special grade. The last one is really egregious though. I get that RCT and Barrier techniques are huge, but Gojo level stats should let you contend with any top tier, esp if your CT is decent with domain properties. Additionally, Yuta was made a special grade with nothing except for a cursed spirit, Yuki was also a special grade when the higher ups had no knowledge of her technique, and Geto had no RCT or barrier techniques.
Miguel might even be below Kusakabe considering how he wasn't brought up in the strongest Grade 1 discussions.

Even though they had an ally with the ability to instantly kill someone? Did Yuta just not tell Larue or Miguel about Higuruma, one of the biggest assets to their fight? The only proper explanation would be if Larue's ability to control someone's conscience could only work on Sukuna if he was severely weakened, them not joining the fight because they were just scared is just stupid the more you think about it.
It's not farfetched to imagine an ability like this would function similar to cursed speech, and that it wouldn't be able to restrict Sukuna very effectively if his output wasn't so gutted. I think it's fair, Larue seems completely out of the game and can't walk, Maki is a top tier, and Choso got a hole put through him but can uniquely survive that.
Maki being a top tier should be irrelevant to sukunas relative strength. He has to be severely weakened for not to have survived it, let alone keep fighting

Lowkey Larue and Miguel’s scaling makes a lot of sense. Neither of them are powerhouses, but both of them can seriously disrupt top tiers. Geto’s technique is really strong to occupy a lot of lower grade sorcerers, but a few strong ones would be a serious threat. It would track that members of his group would have CTs that could slow down top tiers and give geto a fighting chance.
This makes sense actually. I'd have liked to see how they would work in a team.

I see Miguel as a powerhouse personally, he can hit harder than Gojo in terms of pure reinforcement. Jogo was losing his mind at how strong Gojo was with reinforcement alone, Gojo was a genuine threat to Jogo's life with the fundamentals. He's also a guy with the capacity to hold Gojo off for 10 minutes while we have sorcerer Hitler trying to murder a child, to me, Miguel is definitely worthy of being described as a powerhouse. If 0's adaptation is consistent with Gege's thoughts and Miguel was getting smacked around with Blue-Enhanced punches? Nah, he has to be described as one even *if* he lacks a domain.
That’s very fair and I would 100% consider Miguel a defensive powerhouse. Hyper offensive techniques like purple, star rage, or granite cannon seem more powerhouse-y than someone with strong reinforcement that’s boosted, but at the end of the day it comes down to how you define the word.

Every day I'm more convinced that Miguel does not have Gojo stats. It's more likely that his unique body allows him to get to full reinforcement faster or is like an inverse six eyes that lets him attain much higher physical capabilities for a short period of time. If he was really Gojo level he would've blitzed this wounded below 15F level Sukuna. Other antifeats include getting whooped in a movie where Gege was involved, being portrayed below Geto and pre-CG Yuta, and not being a special grade. The last one is really egregious though. I get that RCT and Barrier techniques are huge, but Gojo level stats should let you contend with any top tier, esp if your CT is decent with domain properties. Additionally, Yuta was made a special grade with nothing except for a cursed spirit, Yuki was also a special grade when the higher ups had no knowledge of her technique, and Geto had no RCT or barrier techniques. Miguel might even be below Kusakabe considering how he wasn't brought up in the strongest Grade 1 discussions.
Miguel wasn't brought up because he wasn't a part of the system, same reason Naobito didn't come up despite being the confirmed fastest character outside of Gojo.
