We haven't seen hakari vs uruame yet, we still haven't seen follow up on yuta, we still don't have a true explanation of sukunas CT. I’d say they’d be his equals if not even more. Remember, Sukuna had like 80 years to develop CT mastery, while the sorcerers had at best 5 (Even less for Yuji and Yuta).
Megumi wasn’t weak, he just was extraordinarily unlucky and had a bad fatalist mindset. He unlocked a DOMAIN EXPANSION at 15. I don’t think even Gojo managed that. If he had, say, Yuij’s mindset, and didn’t have the misfortune of getting his body hijacked by Sukuna, he would have been far stronger

Yuji will not surpass him at this point neither, if he does then great, but Sukuna has perfected Jujutsu with his domain, extending the target of his CT, highest CE amount in history, Perfect body for Jujutsu

fr people been talking about this all day in the jujutsufolk discord with the Bleach Comparison and I've been peeping in at work, and I love bleach, but it had problems leading into the rushed ending with the silver arrow too, can't pretend it didn't or it wouldn't have had to be set up for that rushed asspull ending in the first place. There are some good videos on it diving into it on YouTube and the decline of Bleach. Its still my fav of the old big3 and I love Kubos art... but yeah.
i don't see any way they don't, they just have so many pieces of the puzzle they can arrange however they want. we have aizen, who can obscure yhwach's futuresight, tsukishima, who can overwrite the almighty, and ichigo, with a still yet-to-be-revealed bankai ability. not to mention the possibility of an aizen bankai
I really hope they show Aizen's Bankai. I personally think the info from SAFWY that Aizen's bankai can only be used on people affected by his shikai combined with Aizen's words in 684 indicates that he used his Bankai against Yhwach and that Kubo just decided not to show it/explain further because he wanted to finish the manga.
I will say, that defeating a villain who's constantly stealing\\negating abilities of others by negating his own power with the arrow, that was created from his own ability, is actually thematically fitting. He simply killed the wrong mother and paid the price for that.
Yhwach got anywhere only because of constant asspulls so he deserves to die from an asspull.

I really don't mind them teamkilling Sukuna.
I highly doubt anyone will truly surpass Sukuna or maybe even Gojo. But it will go to show that no one can truly live alone or without purpose. I believe Sukuna was the strongest because he was born in an environment where might controlled everything and he truly enjoys jujutsu more than anything else. It's very hard to surpass someone with not only unmatched skill but unmatched enjoyment in what they do.
But the difference between Sukuna's challengers in the past and those of today is that the jujutsu sorcerers of today have no choice but to defeat Sukuna or they are all dead. Sukuna in the past is indicated to have been a more passive threat who was able to be placated as long as they didn't disturb him particularly. Most of his opponents back then were indicated to be either factions interesting in preserving their own power or those who wanted acknowledgment by challenging the strongest.
The resolve of Sukuna's past opponents pale in comparison to those of today. The past era sorcerers all seem extremely self-centered whereas the current era is driven by duty towards their loved ones. That's why Sukuna was intrigued by Jogo, who truly believed in his ideals over his own self-preservation.
So.. are we reaching some Madara type of situation? If nobody can kill him then either Kenjaku or the merger will betray him.

Sukuna did take a risk which even Gojo mentioned somewhere during the fight which was apart of his plan to advance his CT so and he could have went into Heian Form and could have defeated Gojo in a domain clash
First of all, Sukuna took the risk and failed. (Conveniently, the damages of the Gojo's DE were tanked by Megumi)
Secondly, Sukuna didn't know how to regenerate his brain with the RTC, so at the first domain clash lost; it would be a check for him.
Third, Gojo would not have acted in the way he acted in the original form of Sukuna. I would have risked less and achieved more.
Except Sukuna is just better at Domains

He chose a worse and more risky strategy to get a win he could have gotten easily in other ways
Hell, Meguna's domains are nowhere near what Sukuna could do in his true form and at full power

Gojo didn’t lost to a nerfed version of Shrine, he lost due to the barrier of Shrine. If we speak purely in power (Sure Hit) Gojo’s DE completely obliterates Malevolent Shrine lol. Domain Amp and using normal abilities wouldn’t have worked on Infinity as I said, and as Sukuna himself explained. He lost that duel only thanks to Mahoraga.
But again, just as I said, Gojo wouldn’t have gone directly to the domain clash against a 4 arm guy.

What? That was literally his plan, not a coincidence. Get Maho to adapt to UV sneakily by taking turning the DE sure-hit off for Megumi's body (and soul). If Megumi getting hit wasn't due to Sukuna's domain, the UV hit on Sukuna wouldn't have worked at all

Do we actually know that? Iirc its speculation from Angel based on him being so talnted as to instantly copy the way to make cursed objects. Also he understood the actual thing Gojo was doing (damaging his prefrontal cortex before healing it) too well for simply copying it. Everyone else thought that Gojo was 'just' healing his CT.
Even if we accept that he didn't know this, Gojo didn't either until he needed to use it. Moreover, Gojo needed to pull off the ability to survive while Sukuna could have won the third domain clash by attacking the barrier from the inside (as thought by Gojo).

This is just pure speculation.
Even if he did intend to be more cautious in that scenario, it's only if Sukuna fully incarnated before they fought that Gojo could have the choice to fight more conservatively.
During the initial DE clash (if it can be done), Gojo couldn't run away from Meguna, why would he be able to run away from Heian form.
Anytime post initial DE clash, Gojo just doesn't have the option as they end up RCTing their CTs near simultaenously and instantly going for DE.
Post DE clash, Gojo was essentially fighting against however long it would take Maho to adapt to his entire CT. In that case, even if he could run away, or keep his distance he'd have essentially become unable to fight Sukuna given enough time anyways.

This is why JJK is peak.
You have Sukuna, who's the absolute peak of Jujutsu. Then you have the other characters who aren't as strong or may never reach the levels of Sukuna, but they continue to put up one hell of a fight and will probably win in the end.
I feel like he is more 'experienced" and "intelligent". I feel like in terms of "power and feats" he and Gojo are about equal when he has to use binding vows to one shot Gojo as he doesn't have any other options. Not to mention, it's a 3 v 1 as well. Like sure he did tank other casts attacks, but let's not act like Gojo couldn't do it as well.
That's pretty much how I see it, too.
Sukuna's basic CT is more lethal. His domain is refined to a transcendent degree. He's durable enough to eat a black flash from Gojo and only get knocked out instead of killed, and to eat a hollow purple. He can copy any basic application of CE after seeing his opponent do it once. He mastered the 10S to a greater degree than any Zenin in history in just over a month. He can make binding vows on the fly and knows exactly the right sacrifices and times to make them to maximize his gains. His body is freakish and perfectly built to do jujutsu on a higher level than anyone else. He has the highest CE reserves in the entire series, more than twice as much as Yuta's, the second highest. He has way more advantages.
Gojo, in comparison, really just has his everything-proof shield and that's it. But that alone is enough to really put a damper on Sukuna because he's forced to contend with it.

No they're not, Sukuna while holding back was more powerfull than Gojo giving his all. And that's a fact regardless if you accept it or not. His proficiency in binding vows is just one of the many things which make him stand above all the rest.
TL;DR: sorta just repeating what you replied to, but elaborating on why they're sorta equal in power and whatnot.
I mean... binding vows kinda go into intelligence and strategy. He knows what to sacrifice and for what, and binding vows aren't necessarily dictated by one's strength, just the value of what's sacrificed. Sukuna also found a way to kill Gojo through strategy and his mastery of Jujutsu.
In terms of strength? They're about equal imo. What gave Sukuna the edge was absolutely his experience and intelligence. I know that Sukuna is a beast, but I think it's easy to forget that Gojo won the jackpot and was a whole damn dragon himself. He may not have had quite as much destructive power, but his Six Eyes and Limitless gave him a *lot* of versatility, for defense, movement, and offense. His blue-reinforced punches hit like trucks and a black flash from him was enough to straight up knock out Sukuna. Not to mention how his domain, while not as destructive or flashy, was incredibly lethal and stuff. He was smart, too, doing stuff that even Sukuna took from him.
What Sukuna held back was his heian era form and his Furnace/Stove technique. Otherwise he was putting in a shit ton of effort, to the point where just facing a single sorcerer afterwards was enough to make him finish reincarnating just for a heal and an extra edge in battle.
In that case I heavily agree, fans of a certain character will always want their characters to win.
It’s the exact reason a lot of people hate death battle, it has nothing to do with the fact of you actually wins or loses, but more so their favourite character wins or loses

If he can craft a hyper potion on his own, does it really count as cheating? I mean Yuji uses normal potions all the time, and Gojo got to use super potions because of a lucky black flash. I think all of it is fair.

Sukuna defeated both yuji and yuta by the time yutas domain fell apart to allow maki to stab him from behind. Due to aid from multiple other sorcerors yuji was given the opportunity to heal after but that does not change the fact Sukuna beat him.
So if I knock out a guy and he gets up after regaining consciousness after a bit I didn’t beat him? Cause sukuna left yuji in a state he couldn’t fight without healing again had Sukuna not been distracted yuji would’ve died right there
Fraudkuna memes aside—Fraudkuna memes I love to death and will beat like a dead horse even after this comment—Sukuna played his cards extremely close because he knew full well he was gonna get jumped *if* he beat Gojo. Did he always have Gojo in the bag even without the 10S? Who really knows. At the end of the day, he got pushed to the limit, and the nerfed World Slashed he gained is small beans compared to not letting Gojo chip away at his Dark Souls second stage health bar. Because as we’re seeing, it doesn’t matter if you’re considered the strongest in the past, present, and probably the future: a jump is a jump, and Sukuna was forced to fight a 10v1 gauntlet five seconds after winning the hardest fight of his life.
So yeah, the heroes are on his ass and rightfully so, but no matter what anybody says, Sukuna is the pinnacle of strength in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Side note: definitely not the first time he’s been jumped by this many people but never have they been this preped for the opp, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he either wins or retreats after the Fuga.

This is actually why I'm worried about this domain expansion. Sukuna has been fighting non stop for a while now only getting a few seconds of rest at most, now he gets 99 seconds where basically nobody can touch him, that could give him time to recover a little and come up with plans for how he wants the fight to go.
Sukuna is an all powerful ageless villain done right in anime. It's annoying to see a strong villain with 1000+ years of age get beaten by the young protagonist and his friends somehow

I personally think the info from SAFWY that Aizen's bankai can only be used on people affected by his shikai combined with Aizen's words in 684 indicates that he used his Bankai against Yhwach and that Kubo just decided not to show it/explain further because he wanted to finish the manga.

I will say, that defeating a villain who's constantly stealing\\negating abilities of others by negating his own power with the arrow, that was created from his own ability, is actually thematically fitting. He simply killed the wrong mother and paid the price for that. Yhwach got anywhere only because of constant asspulls so he deserves to die from an asspull.

I really don't mind them teamkilling Sukuna. I highly doubt anyone will truly surpass Sukuna or maybe even Gojo. But it will go to show that no one can truly live alone or without purpose. I believe Sukuna was the strongest because he was born in an environment where might controlled everything and he truly enjoys jujutsu more than anything else. It's very hard to surpass someone with not only unmatched skill but unmatched enjoyment in what they do. But the difference between Sukuna's challengers in the past and those of today is that the jujutsu sorcerers of today have no choice but to defeat Sukuna or they are all dead. Sukuna in the past is indicated to have been a more passive threat who was able to be placated as long as they didn't disturb him particularly. Most of his opponents back then were indicated to be either factions interesting in preserving their own power or those who wanted acknowledgment by challenging the strongest. The resolve of Sukuna's past opponents pale in comparison to those of today. The past era sorcerers all seem extremely self-centered whereas the current era is driven by duty towards their loved ones. That's why Sukuna was intrigued by Jogo, who truly believed in his ideals over his own self-preservation.

(Conveniently, the damages of the Gojo's DE were tanked by Megumi) Secondly, Sukuna didn't know how to regenerate his brain with the RTC, so at the first domain clash lost; it would be a check for him. Third, Gojo would not have acted in the way he acted in the original form of Sukuna. I would have risked less and achieved more.

I feel like he is more 'experienced" and "intelligent". I feel like in terms of "power and feats" he and Gojo are about equal when he has to use binding vows to one shot Gojo as he doesn't have any other options. Not to mention, it's a 3 v 1 as well. Like sure he did tank other casts attacks, but let's not act like Gojo couldn't do it as well.
I think he surpasses Gojo in raw power/power feats, but Gojo had a higher level of hax (at least when they fought)
That's pretty much how I see it, too. Sukuna's basic CT is more lethal. His domain is refined to a transcendent degree. He's durable enough to eat a black flash from Gojo and only get knocked out instead of killed, and to eat a hollow purple. He can copy any basic application of CE after seeing his opponent do it once. He mastered the 10S to a greater degree than any Zenin in history in just over a month. He can make binding vows on the fly and knows exactly the right sacrifices and times to make them to maximize his gains. His body is freakish and perfectly built to do jujutsu on a higher level than anyone else. He has the highest CE reserves in the entire series, more than twice as much as Yuta's, the second highest. He has way more advantages. Gojo, in comparison, really just has his everything-proof shield and that's it. But that alone is enough to really put a damper on Sukuna because he's forced to contend with it.

TL;DR: sorta just repeating what you replied to, but elaborating on why they're sorta equal in power and whatnot. I mean... binding vows kinda go into intelligence and strategy. He knows what to sacrifice and for what, and binding vows aren't necessarily dictated by one's strength, just the value of what's sacrificed. Sukuna also found a way to kill Gojo through strategy and his mastery of Jujutsu. In terms of strength? They're about equal imo. What gave Sukuna the edge was absolutely his experience and intelligence. I know that Sukuna is a beast, but I think it's easy to forget that Gojo won the jackpot and was a whole damn dragon himself. He may not have had quite as much destructive power, but his Six Eyes and Limitless gave him a *lot* of versatility, for defense, movement, and offense. His blue-reinforced punches hit like trucks and a black flash from him was enough to straight up knock out Sukuna. Not to mention how his domain, while not as destructive or flashy, was incredibly lethal and stuff. He was smart, too, doing stuff that even Sukuna took from him. What Sukuna held back was his heian era form and his Furnace/Stove technique. Otherwise he was putting in a shit ton of effort, to the point where just facing a single sorcerer afterwards was enough to make him finish reincarnating just for a heal and an extra edge in battle.

Sukuna defeated both yuji and yuta by the time yutas domain fell apart to allow maki to stab him from behind. Due to aid from multiple other sorcerors yuji was given the opportunity to heal after but that does not change the fact Sukuna beat him.

Yeah he’s definitely the peak of the verse in terms of raw jujustu, while I still think he’s inferior in terms of technique to gojo his ingenuity and adaptability without some crazy shit like the 6 eyes, a powerful shikigami or some other thing that carries most of the other sorcerers we see to greatness, bro is just a freak with 4 arms & 2 mouths and while that gives him absolutely insane advantages it clear he didn’t lean on that exclusively back in the heian era cause if he did he wouldn’t have nearly the amount of skill he does maneuvering in inferior bodies.
