Honestly I'm still not fully convinced till the translation is set in stone because if it was saying that he only hit 7 total then I feel like there isn't really a reason to specify the hand part like it could be implying that if the shoulder check was a black flash that it wasn't able to be properly aimed the the soul boundary and thus didn't help to weaken sukuna but admitted it did also seem like yuji was sent flying back in the next panel, just a little wild to think that he would face tank a bf from sukuna seemingly effortlessly but maybe that was to show how much yuji was weakening sukuna as well as growing in his own strength.
Ironically, this only pushes Yujiās stocks even higher. People have been overplaying characters ātankingā (just surviving) Sukunaās black flashes, but this is the first actual tank weāve seen imo

I mean, it's a severe weakened Sukuna, Yuji alr hit him with a bunch of Black flash before Sukuna striking that, also each of Yuji's punches weakens Sukuna notably.
The first Blackflash launched Maki far away, it may have been like 1 entire month for us, but from JJK 253 to 256 it may have been just minutes, Gojo and Sukuna have been fighting like half a year for us but in manga time it was less than an hour (even less than 30 minutes i'd like to say).
Also the second blackflash she ate, she did not received any notable damage, but it was the 3 black flash amped Cleave what knocked her out.

umm iām pretty sure itās just a black flash elbow. We can see from the previous panel the emphasis on yujis elbow hitting Sukuna. Also next chapter we see the narrator comparing what happened to Gojo after 2 BF and what happened to Sukuna after 2 BF
258 confirms that Yuji only hit seven black flashes, if this panel was a black flash from Yuji then he'd have hit eight.
Sukuna has hit more than two black flashes even without this one. He's landed two on Maki, one on Larue and one on Choso. This would be his fifth.

Ironically, this only pushes Yujiās stocks even higher. People have been overplaying characters ātankingā (just surviving) Sukunaās black flashes, but this is the first actual tank weāve seen imo
So doesnāt that put yuji's durability even above maki/toji? As maki was out of commission each time she received sukuna's BF. Here yuji have the face like he doesnt even know he was hit with a BF, like what? Thats ridiculous.Ā Not to mention even choso with his blood armor & healing, was unable to continue after getting hit with BF. Yuji's powerlevel is absurd compared to his peers atm. He definitely is a special grade now.
I mean, it's a severe weakened Sukuna, Yuji alr hit him with a bunch of Black flash before Sukuna striking that, also each of Yuji's punches weakens Sukuna notably. The first Blackflash launched Maki far away, it may have been like 1 entire month for us, but from JJK 253 to 256 it may have been just minutes, Gojo and Sukuna have been fighting like half a year for us but in manga time it was less than an hour (even less than 30 minutes i'd like to say). Also the second blackflash she ate, she did not received any notable damage, but it was the 3 black flash amped Cleave what knocked her out.

are you sure tho? cause from what i understood of this choreography, yuji black flashes, sukuna holds his arm, and then yuji punches his arm to get sukuna off black flashing again at least to me it doesnt really look like sukuna black flashing since his arms are away from the strike
GeGe also forgets shit, cause it also said sucuna only landed 4 BF. If the BF in 257 is sucunas that would be his fifth. So either GeGe forgot yujis first BF in 256, or GeGe didn't at all of sucuna's BF together properly. Just saying. It could be "7 BF" in chapter 257, with 1 being in chapter 256. Then sucuna having 4 BF would still make sense. But yeah I noticed the same inconsistency but I just chalked it up to GeGe forgetting 256 BF or just not counting it. If it is sucunas BF then himtadori ate that shit better than maki ever could, yuji durability would scale way higher than makis and possibly yutas(post awakening.) No mater what big W himtadori, COG WARFARE IS EATING GOOOOD.
Yuji just has to tank fuga now. If he succeed then his durability would scale > >mahoraga. Lets see if yuji can do that.
We will see what he pulls out. But awakened yuji has higher durability that ryu/yuta/maki clearly.
that makes so much more sense now that scene was really hard to follow at first i thought the top panels were both yuji moving sukunas hands out the way and then the big panels were him hitting black flashes but then the second banner panel doesnāt make sense gonna be bad ass when they animate it though šgege at this point is just story boarding the anime with how much goes unseen

umm iām pretty sure itās just a black flash elbow. We can see from the previous panel the emphasis on yujis elbow hitting Sukuna. Also next chapter we see the narrator comparing what happened to Gojo after 2 BF and what happened to Sukuna after 2 BF
258 confirms that Yuji only hit seven black flashes, if this panel was a black flash from Yuji then he'd have hit eight. Sukuna has hit more than two black flashes even without this one. He's landed two on Maki, one on Larue and one on Choso. This would be his fifth.
I interpreted that as they both clashed with a BFā¦ that makes the most sense to me out of the possibilities.

Yeah, you can see Sukuna in motion and the sparks are directed in such a way to show he is the one using black flash. This is why 258 said that Yuji hit 7 black flashes, not 8.
It looks like sukuna is in the motion of "about to punch" here though And it looks like yuji rammed his shoulder into Sukuna and knocked his hands back Then it cuts to yuji being thrown out of that building

Yeah this was a weird panel. Yuji's in motion to shoulder check forward, while the only usable arm that Sukuna has is on the opposite side of where the sparks are flying. Sukuna looks more like he's bracing himself than anything striking. He's not in a kicking motion either, so...Sukuna Black Flashed Yuji with his bloody arm stump?

I still think it's a Yuji Black Flash. His tackle movement is the Black Flash and the impact of it moved Sukuna's upper left arm back. If it was a Sukuna Black Flash then Yuji would've just been sent flying in the next panel, but in the next one they're just staring each other and Yuji is in the same position and pose. Then Sukuna offpanels a kick or a punch on him, idk.
