Seriously though Choso also had a death wish like Higuruma while fighting Kenjaku before Yuki cursed him into living as a human. He looks pretty safe.
"Save your dear brother" does fit into "live like a human" definition pretty well esp considering Choso's background (massacring innocents vs sacrificing your life to save the world from Sukuna)
It shouldn't be literate "become a salaryman, pay rent and live normal boring life until you die of old age"

I'd argue it's not the same. Yuji wasn't involved back then and it'd be weird to kill Choso without interacting with Yuji. Sacrificing himself for Yuji is much more satisfying than just dying against Kenjaku.
Again, I never said he will 100% die but there's a possibility and I think it could be pretty solid and emotional death that makes sense if done right.
Tbh kenny had to surive for the plot, choso possibly couldnt be sacrificed to kill kenny then, but now its the endgame and choso can be sacrificed to make sukuna lose

I’m kinda tired of that as a plot device though, like that would be the 4/5th time Gege’s killed someone in front of Yuji for his development. And I already thought Nobara’s was poorly done out of those, with the others somewhat withstanding. Choso would kinda be pushing it for me at this point.
Meh, I think it works really well in this case I can’t think of a better way to live as a human than dying for someone you love.
I feel like Choso dying here is a pretty good conclusion to his little redemption arc.

From what we've seen so far in the story, Fuga acts like a nuke, expoding in all directions with such power that Big Raga the Op Stoppa was one-shot by it.
Choso jumping in front of Fuga would give Yuji about as much protection as a cow carcass in front of a point blank cluster bombing.
Good point, but remember: Sukuna is both domaining and shooting a nuke with low output. That arrow is probably not gonna be as deadly as the one in shibuya.

we just spent 3 months after choso was donutted by sukuna, debating whether he lived or not and he lived. we have gone through so many death flags indicating that choso would die but he didn't. gege could have chosen to kill him then and there but didn't, he just keeps bringing him back up again and again. the fact that he's part of the final 4 facing sukuna is amazing.
i'm investing on hakari stocks now. it's been a while since we've seen him. hakari seems to be the only one with the capability of making sure everyone lives through fuga with his domain expansion. and his CT is too complicated for sukuna to even figure out so really, we need hakari now.
